Y U NO NORMAL?! ~Black Alts~

My black egg hatched alt. Right now I just hope it's male. if it genders female, I'll trade it for anything on my wish list

While I've gotten a ton of alt blacks lately, I've also hatched 2 alt vines as well. No complaints here! I'm stocking up while I can!

I just hatched my first Black Alt- without this explosion, I don't think I ever would have got one. I'm going to grab and hatch some more... Loving it!

*Raises hand* I bred a vine about four days ago and it just hatched alt, so they're still around. Rare as ever, though--this is the very first time I've managed to hatch an alt vine on my scroll! ;w;

 

As for black alts--I plan to stock up while I can, but then I almost sort of hope it goes back to normal. I'm terrible at hunting the cave, so along with bred metallics and trios, creating nice 2nd gen alts is one of my primary means of trade fodder. If they become super common then I shall have no such luck. <;;

 

I am really interested in why exactly this change happened, though.

So why the black alt explosion and the ratios for the alt vines have remained the same?

Hmm, I thought the Vines have had their ratios changed a bit more favourably as well, because one CB Vine pair of mine produced alt offspring 3 weeks in a row.

I hope whatever this is ends or is fixed when I finally get a black egg for myself, I prefer the normal ones to the alts

Funny enough, I prefer the alts over the regular ones, and this is my chance to get an army or something

I've enjoyed building up some nice lineaged alts but I'm ready to have some normals back. I have a lineage that I'm having to wait on because I need normals and I'm a little concerned that once the alt deluge is over blacks are going to be back to their hard to breed status since everyone has been breeding for alts.

I am hoping it holds out, I am trying to get a total of at least 12 2nd gen PB alts to replace all my long lines I have 3 down so far! and more are promised for IOUs so please last a little longer alt goodness!!

I first noticed the ratio change mid February & its now the end of March so this has been going on for quite a while now.

 

Hopefully the change isn't putting a damper on too many peoples breeding projects. I for one am enjoying this black alt gold rush.

Every Black egg I've had in my scroll has hatched Alt for a while now. Right now I have 3 Black hatchlings and they all came out as Alts It's a good time to hoard Alts :3

Well, I personally am glad. I prefer the alts, especially the females, and the one Black I've got wound up being an alt female, so I'm pleased. :3

I've seen several normal black hatchies on the click sites, so I think they're not all becoming alts.
