Okay guys, G36R PMed me this idea!

You could create a new test that involves taking magical sources out of the dragons. For example, they disect a little sunstone. Inside of their brains is a section that controls magic. So, the scientists take that out and see what happens. The effects are....

- The little dragons are confused a lot

- Their eyes look kind of...blank

They get put into the testing rooms, and what little magic they could do they can't do, and they lost a lot of memory.
