Format for Dragons

Name: Juliaka [Jul or Caretaker for the youthful]

Age: Between teenhood and adult age.

Gender: Female

Bond: Has this.. connection to youths. Not necessarily a bond, for there can only be one, but she responds more towards young humans and hatchings or eggs from dragons, calling her "The Caretaker"

Dragon Type/Appearance: An unusually hued female with these somewhat tinted purple colored eyes. Apart from that her frame is quite lithe like and flexible. Notionally the normally silver plates on her torso area and such are a ebony hue, but the shield on her tail is quite reflective and shiny. Often uses it to shine a light into the eyes of any pursuing attackers, otherwise often actually keeps it covered in dirt to reduce glare.

Personality: A gentle, seemingly shy at first sight, but quite graceful she-dragon. Her voice is like that of the melodic tone of ringing bells, usually. That voice of hers often if provoked can change into a bellowing howl, ranging far and wide as a warning signal. The high pitch tone normally will shatter the ecosystem around her and be able to hear quite some distance away. Other then that, she is shy, until you get to know her. In which once you open up her exterior you can find a whole different dragon, energetic, joyful, and a bit.. [like all teens] trickily.

History (Optional): She was one of the dragons who lived in the era of which the humans where coming, though she was young at that age, she eventually made a life of trying to protect them. A bond no, but like many of her kind - they had awoken that of the motherly figure in her to one's eggs. Ever sense, she has been called upon to be that of their caretaker.

Powers (Up to three): Unless an extreme sense of protective motherly will is a power, not really any.

Name:Nomadic [Nomad]

Age: Elderly

Gender: Male

Bond: Hes a nomadic dragon, travels from place to place. so no.

Dragon Type/appearance + Personality: A wise old male Red Dragon, out of his prime though. His scales show the battles of his younger days, back when he was a young (still nomadic) male looking for something such as a mate. Upon his torso he bares the biggest and most vivid fight of his life, a four claw mark etch into his under skin is shown, his scales not grown back, and never will, he shows it with almost shame. In his younger days, he showed it like a scar of victory, but upon his vast and long years, it has grown more of a burden - for the scar on his chest (Which he didn't realize when he was younger) showed both a serious attempt on his life, and a mark of sin. Though his back is covered with scars, most old, very little new, another two notable marks is his one quarter missing tail, as arrogant as he was as a youth, the scar upon his chest and also the other notable scars along and across his right eye it was not enough evidence until he got a sliver of his tail chomped away. As for his right eye's scar, there is one long sharp and straight etch into it and smaller lesser scars, that had healed more over time, if you look at him you'll notice he slightly squints in that eye, and with his slowly deteriorating eyesight, he has a far harder time to see out of that one then his left.

History (Optional): Nomad was born into a at-time group of nomadic males (females migrated in and out and came every breeding season) long before the arrival of humans. Each time the females came, he had to fight the bigger males just to stay in of the group, because simply they didn't want the competition to get at the females the next year, in which all small or weak or vulnerable dragons where exiled, and for some.. for those toxin introduced males who couldn't control their urges.. where killed. So naturally, he grew up there, in which soon once he was feeling a bit elderly.. and of bred a fair amount, had stepped down to travel alone. This was the time the humans came. They fascinated him. He followed them to what they now call their island, and is forced to stick close to them because despite how he doesn't want to admit it - he is afraid of the invader's and their rabid stance, attacking dragons. Which he had only seen once during a dragon ruts, but not like they do.

Powers (Up to three): His large titanic frame can actually shatter the ground if he focuses his weight enough, though he can't dive like he use to into the ground, cause his wings don't work anymore, he is a slow but hard hitting male.

Name: Runara Tonitrui (or just simply Runa)

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Bond (Wild dragons put none): Roderick Frost

Dragon Type/Appearance: Electric dragon. Her body is yellow with some black spots (they are big). Underbelly and wing membrane are brighter than yellow, and her horns being curved in waves are deep yellow. Eyes are deep yellow color.

Personality: Runara may look like serious, but actually she isn't. In fact, she is pretty optimistic and is not the one, who gives up easily. Oftenly, when Roderick and Bruce go in conflict, she is always the one, who cuts off the fight... Ok, not always.

History (Optional): Runara was found almost dead from hunger, as she have never eaten in two days. A retired soldier named Roderick Frost has found her, and he have became bond with Runara. The former took care of her, saving her life, and they soon became friends with each other. Not long after they have became friends with another human named Bruce Dagger, who didn't have any bonds. At the moment they are travelling together.

Powers (Up to three):

1) Thunder Bolt - Not a very strong attack, but has a chance of paralyzing the target.

2) Electrical Shield - Runara casts an electrical shield around the target, so everyone who will touch him, will get zapped, except for Runara herself and the ones, who is guarded with the same shield. Maximum three shields at the same time.

 

Name: Roderick Frost (simply Rod or Frost)

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Bond(s): Runara Tonitrui.

Personality: Being an retired soldier, Roderick is rather serious and cautious, and never lets his guard down. Despite this, he is not that all serious. He has some sense of humor and sometimes jokes about the surroundings, depending on situation. Oftenly he gets in conflict with Bruce, his opponent in physics (yeah, the most often topic of the conflicts). With all of this, he has one great downside. His biggest fear are... magic dragons. Yeah, that's right. He can't stand ANY magic dragon, and then he is EXTREMELY vulnerable. Why? 'Cause of his nightmares about them.

History (optional): During the raid of Darklings, Roderick have lost conscuiousness, and then woke up in the forest. Wandering about, trying to find someone other than Darklings, he have found the starving female electric dragon. At first he though she was one of the Dark dragons, but then he found out that she wasn't. Saving her life by sharing his food pack, he shared a bond with the dragoness. Exchanging the names, they have decided to go together. Well, I have already explained that they met Bruce, so no need to repeat... I think.

 

Name: Bruce Dagger

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Appearance: Wears a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black boots. Has a dark-blue eyes and brown hair. At first glance doesn't seem that he has muscles.

Bond(s): None. He haven't decided yet.

Personality: He is pretty careful and quiet. He is notable by his high speed, stamina and agility. Despite all of that, he CAN'T fight, although he is perfect for scouting the area. Being an A-grader at physics (as Roderick), he oftenly debates with Roderick at this topic, until Runara cuts them off.

History (optional): Nobody knows his past. Even Roderick. Not counting the written above. Yeah...

Format for Dragons

Name: Tyra

Age: Egg(Currently Hatching)

Gender: Female

Bond: None yet, but would like another player's human charie to bond with her.

DragonType/Appearance: Ice Dragon; her main body color is a deep indigo blue while her belly and wind webbings are a pale, robin's egg blue. Her eyes are violet and she has two sets of straight white horns that are slightly curved downward on her head.

Personality: She's very cautious and shy of the humans now and always will be slightly but will have a deep connection to her human(whoever that will be. ^^). She will be protective over her human companion as she gets older but is usually gentle unless threatened.

History: Her egg was abandoned out at the base of the mountains, sent to float away in the river. No one knows what happened to her parents but luckily she was found by Beryl, a Royal Blue Dragoness who made sure her egg became safe from harm.

Powers: Manipulation of Water; Ice, she breathes a blue flame that freezes instead of burns and she is able to freeze or unfreeze objects as well as water; Invisibility, she is able to turn a very clear color like ice making her very hard to see but as long as she's in this state, she continually loses energy. If she becomes bonded to a human, when she is old enough and her powers have matured enough, her bond will have the power to freeze and unfreeze water and other objects. Also, when Tyra and her bond are physically together, Tyra can make her bond invisible as well as herself as long as they're touching one another but only for a certain period of time as it takes up energy.

Name: Jennifer

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: She's tall and thin with long, straight, jet black hair, rippling down almost to her waist. Some strands of her hair on the side of her head are usually braided and she usually has a type of crown braid which is where two thin bundles of hair close to the forehead are braided and wrapped around the head and tied at the back while the rest of the hair hangs downward. Her eyes are dazzling light blue and she tends to wear a soft blue feather in her hair to accentuate them. She tends to wear indian style clothing such as a sleeveless suade leather jerkin and loose capris. Not caring much for shoes, she's barefoot most of the time. She always wears a smooth. light grey choker necklace with a silver and blue dragon pendant attached to the front around her neck, never taking it off due to the fact is was a gift from her now deceased mother.

Bond(s): Rin, a Royal Blue hatchling

Personality: She's quiet and a bit solitary but has a strong, stubborn spirit. She tends to spend time alone out in the forest among nature or with her bonded dragon away from the human village. She has a deep admiration for the dragon species and a strong bond with her dragon, telling him everything and spending a lot of time with him.

History: Jennifer's parents, simple peasants, ventured over from Earth long before Jennifer herself was born. Her mother, even though everyone told her the Dragons were peaceful creatures, disliked the fact of these dangerous creatures living so close to the village and was always wary of the Dragon race. When she became pregnant with Jennifer, she became even more so. To her mother's dismay, Jennifer showed a great interest in Dragons at a very early age, but her mother did not approve and kept Jennifer away from the "dangerous beasts" as often as she could. Jennifer still snuck out and secretly visited the mighty Dragons, but sadly was never able to bond with one. The gentle couple raised their daughter healthy and happy until that fateful night. When Jennifer was only four, Darklings attacked the village, injuring several villagers and killing even more. Tragically, Jennifer's mother was one of those who were murdered. However, right before she died, she witnessed a Dragon save Jennifer from the clutches of a nasty Darkling. With her last dying breath, she instructed Jennifer to find a Dragon bond, realizing the great creatures could keep her daughter safe when she could not. Since then, Jennifer was cared for by her father and her love for Dragons blossomed, though she became more and more reclusive after her mother's death, disappearing into the outdoors for hours on end, rarely to be seen in the village except on errands for her father or doing other minor chores to keep their hut tidy. She never forget her mother's words and swore she would find a Dragon bond, whatever it took to succeed.

Name: Fire Blazer

Dragon Type/Appearance: Electric

Personality: Fire Blazer only thinks negatively. She does whatever she can to make life horrible for everyone else and enjoys doing it. Blaze thinks everyone is beneath her and that she should be the ultimate ruler of the universe.

Powers (Up to three):

 

Electricity: She is able to hurt her opponents with a surge of electricity, this typically can't kill anything except for small animals. It can severally hurt humans (kind of like getting an extreme electric shock), and partially hurt other dragons.

 

Thunderstorms: If she is really mad and has a lot of energy she is able to produce a thunderstorm. This takes a lot of her energy and afterword she is very weak and vulnerable.

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Bond: No bond so far.

Dragon Type/Appearance: Magi, missing the head frill, a scar shows where it used to be. Eye's are silver instead of green as well.

Personality: Calm most of the time. Like to think things through. He is a caring one though will not hurt if an enemy is suffering. So stay on his good side in that manner. He currently see humans as lower beings but does not mistreat them. He treats them human but does not feel needed to treat them like his own kind. He also is on a search for a mate.

History (Optional): Was rescued when he was a hatchling just hatched. when he was born the darklings where attacking. Though untouched him self his rescuer had to be killed as he had fallen to the darklings curse they seemed to give to who ever they touched. His head frill was cut off when he had matured and once again was in the area of a darkling attack. Rescued once again though an arrow that had been sent off course reduced the head frill to nothing. Since then he's been trying to avoid remembering the trauma that can sometimes plague him. At times resulting in him being rash or not him self.

Powers (Up to three): Able to minorly control the elements. Make a fire shot about the size of his paw for each element. Larger the shot more power it drains. Though water does little of anything right now. He can form a cloak around him self rendering him invisible. Takes more energy though if done in bright sun light. In a nut shell he con control elements minorly, and cloak. Though he could learn to heal with water giving that part of his elemental some use.

Appearance: Waist-length brown hair that she wears in a high ponytail, and green eyes. She wears plain clothes and a leather workbelt that she almost never takes off.

Bond(s): Slipstream

Personality: Kiera is a very brave, determined person, but has a tendency to be too serious. She believes that anything is possible with hard work. She tends to act a little indifferently toward her bond, but only because they have known each other since childhood and have a very secure relationship. They balance each other out.

History: Kiera and Slipstream have been bonds since an early age. When Kiera was two, she wandered away from the village. Twenty-four hours later, she reappeared, clutching Slipstream's egg. A few days later, Slipstream hatched, and bonded with Kiera.

 

Dragon

Name: Slipstream (Nicknamed Slip)

Age: twelve years old

Gender: female

Bond: Kiera

Dragon Type/Appearance: Daydream dragon, about four feet tall at the shoulder and almost eight feet long.

Personality: Slipstream is flighty, carefree, happy, and easily distracted, but still possesses a much longer attention span then most Daydream dragons. She is nurturing and caring, and loves Kiera with all of her heart. She tends to be the one soothing any arguments. Se is very formal around anyone she considers a stranger, but makes friends fast. Her favorite thing to do is go flying with Kiera laying on her back.

History (Optional): She has lived all her life with Kiera, and does not even know who her parents were. Slipstream is caveborn.

Powers (Up to three):Slipstream can make people see things that aren't really there. However, she can only do this for a short period of time, about five minutes. Her aura is also very strong, and usually affects those around her. She has a high range of control over her emotions, and therefore, her aura, so she can controll others moods a small amount. However she has no affect on their thoughts..

Dragon Type/Appearance: Vampire, Blood and cuts all over body.

Personality: Very cruel to everyone, humans or dragons he will attack for Blood when hes hungry. Very tough and strong fighter but he hated to do others biddings.

History (Optional): When the humans asked him to work he rawrd and ripped 20-30 human bodies apart said No and walked off to watch them, hes now Netural to them.

Powers (Up to three): Able To Move Things With His Mind, Able To Mind Read.

 

PS. Hes not a darkling, he hates them because they take others blood when he could have it.

Name: Minnie-Marie Roy

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: She has waist long dark cherry brown/red hair with naturally blackened edges about an inch up every strand no matter it's length or layer, many people like to say it makes her appear foxish but it comes from her bond with Nejour. It's cut back so that everything, when pated at the base of the ear, is diagonal down an inch past the shoulder, it naturally curly back as if a wind is constantly blowing it and her bangs are cut above her left eyes and are rather long so that only her purple eyes is visible. At night, she switches her hair part so that only her green eyes is visible.

 

She had, originally, uniquely changing eyes from brown with a thick blue green ring around the iris, to a stunning emerald with the same ring and flecks of black. Now, she has heterochromiatic eyes; one is Purple, the other bright green and allows her to see at night.

 

She is 5'6" with properly long sculpted legs, a long skinny torso both ways, she has modest curves and pale white skin, though it doesn't look unnatural. She wears a thin strapped dress that's navy blue and is decorated with small brown-green, white and blue flowers that vary in size, shape, and pattern but are no bigger than a pinky nail. Over this she has a flattering black jacket which complements her hair nicely. Her shoes change from black thong flip flops to converse (from earth) which have an extra length up above her ankles and she tends to lace them up all the way, lastly there are high 2 1/2 inch heels that cover her toes and have a strap back, it's made of felt and the design on the fron it like a ribcage. She wears gold earing given to her from her grandmother with aquamarine gems inside them, she has a matching golden necklace with a star shaped aquamarine. She also wears, and never removes, a gold ring on her right index finger, it has three twisting parts that branch off at the top of the ring and on the middle strap there are small diamonds cutting a zig zag on either side of two amethests. The other to strands swerve on either side of the middle strand and connect on the opposite side of each zigzag.

 

She has a scar in the part of her hair when her bangs are perted to the left over her green eyes, a scar on her forhead, one over her right eyes beneath the eyebrow, a long one on the left of her torso it's like an 'i', the dot is on her breast and the long line starts from beneath it and down to her left hip. She has a scar on her right and left shin in roughly the same places, a scar on her right outer heel and many others that are less distinct.

Bond(s): With Nejour, a male black alt dragon and Hastarius, a purple male dragon.

Personality: Marie is generally recluse, she stays quiet a lot because she doesn't do good with interecting, or taking the initiative. When it's children, though, she always becomes extremely friendly and sociable, she'll do embarassing and stupid things when she's with them and never once be ashamed as long as they are laughing and having fun. Children tend to like her back and flock to her when they're looking for a playmate or for someone to supervise them. She prefers babysitting to going out to hang out with friends because she never is sure of her place in the social order when amongst moody teens her age.

 

Marie is an artist and loves sitting down and sketching scenery, doing portraits and quite especially of dragons. She loves to sing and had a good alto voice that kids like to listen to before bedtime or just in general. She has a certain song she always sings, it's from her past, a song her mother used to sing to her before she died. Marie can play the flute, it's an ancient instrument passed down for generation between the females of her family and Hastarius loves to listen to her play.

 

There is a contrast to her good side,a nd that would be mostly the bad side to her. She loves the nightime as much as the daytime and can hardly get enough sleep because she's out with Nejour exploring and hunting. She learned to hunt from her father and even in a dress she's agile and can work the woods like a native forest animal. She likes dark music sometimes and prefers to be alone more than in large groups, she's claustrophobic, even though she can really work a crowd. She's a natural born leader but would rather run behind the bandawagon rather than jump on it or drive it, if that makes any sense. She's got her own sense of style and loves to play with her hair(and others) and put it up in different styles. She prefers dark, neutral colours as opposed to bright conspicuous clothing. She'd rather blend into the shadows of the background than stand out or flock together with others. She's reletively good with adult, maturity wize she can keep up, but she is terrible with authority. She much prefers to be left to do her own thing though, when in the company of others she's extremely, quite unneccessarily, polite and keeps her hands and feet within her little bumble, afraid to do something she's not meant to. She also plays the violin and Nejour loves it and occasionally the piano and both a base and regular guitar which Marie can also play very well.

 

Marie is flexble and very athletic, she's a great runner and she's fast with her long stride, she can speak in three languages, she loves to write and read and listen to everything around her. She loves nature and would choose a cold night out under the stars to sitting copped inside a bed in a warm stuffy house. Despite her good traits she's got some that are unfortunate and some she really hates. Marie never lets herself be painted or photographed, she can't accept flattery or praise very well, she lives on her own in the house her great, great, great grandfather built. She is extremely emotional and empathetic, when she is close to someon who is feeling a strong emotion, she get's affected by it and begins to feel that emotion too. She has terrible coordination, she trips quite often even though she walks in a perfectly straight line like the ground is a balance beam. She steps between every crack in the floor of her house, hates sea food, except for shrimp. She tends to push people away or become extremely shy, either way, she always puts up walls. She has a phobia of men and when one get's too close or touches her in a way she doesn't like she freaks out and shies away, since she's polite she doesn't do more than that, afraid to hurt their feelings. Although, she shies away from everyones touch, except animals and children. She has poor health and despite her athleticism she can't run for long without breaking down into a fit of coughing and wheezing and passing out. Her heart is weak and can't handle a lot of oxygen, so when she's hunting, she walks and only runs when neccessary. To make up for her weakness she finds strength in going for long walks and learning to defend herself.

History (optional): Marie's mother died when she was 10 years old and her father when she was 13. Ever since she's lived alone with just her bonded dragons. She first met Hastarius when she was only 3 years old. She'd discovered an injured fawn and was nursing it on the spot with some milk she'd carried along with her in a canteen since it was her favourite drink. Hastarius had come to her asking her if she was always this way, when she replied yes, they bonded on the spot once thei eyes met. Hastarius was only a hatchling back then.

 

Marie met Nejour after both her parents had died and she ran into the forest, leaping over every obstacle until she was coughing and wheezing and at the sime time sobbing her throbbing heart out. Nejour appeared to her as soon as night fell, he'd actually come to see if she was dead since she'd fallen asleep and had been there for hours. She awoke though, as if sensing his presence. Nejour asked her what was wrong and she'd said she hated her parents for dieing and leaving her alone. Nejour offered her help up and took her flying, showing her the beauty of the night. After that, they bonded after a few more meetings, now they go out together all the time and he tachers her combat so she can fight away her evils.

Age: 103 ((an adult))

Gender: Male

Bond (Wild dragons put none): Minnie-Marie Roy

Dragon Type/Appearance: Purple Dragon with dark purple eyes like amethests.

Personality: He is wise and gentle, kind and patient. He's an 'old soul' and the acting 'father figure' for Marie, and sometimes Nejour, too.

History (Optional): He has no real history, for his 90 years of life before meeting Marie, he had lived alone in the forests without parents as he had been abandonedas soon as he was lain.

Powers (Up to three): He has the breed specific ability(does that have to count as one?) Hastarius has the ability to see the past, the present and the future and thus retains the knowledge of the worlds and can tap into the knowledge of the universe going into a trance-like state where his antenae glow and he 'separates' from his body, his physical form will then become a living statue in a frozen state, but still alive. He can't do this for too long or his body really will die as it continues to age without him inside of it. Hastarius can also use Chrono Telekinesis; moving living things through time.

Age: 57 ((young adult))

Gender: Male

Bond (Wild dragons put none): Minnie-Marie Roy

Dragon Type/Appearance: Black Alt Dragon

Personality: Serious but carefree, simple, yet complicated like the night sky, stars are a simple know existance but they are complex compared to what meets the eyes. Nejour doen't trust very easilt but when he does, it's for life and the only human he trusts is Marie and he gets along fairly with Hastarius, too. He loves hunting with Marie and flying with her at night, his favourite time of day is whenever he's with Marie. He loves to teach her combat and likes how easily she can learn each move.

History (Optional): His life was in the woonds, living, hunting, mearning combat and magic. One night, on the hunt, he discovered a girl who had clearly been mourning deeply. When he approached, she awoke and hearing her explanation when asked what was wrong, he felt the need, like he'd never felt before, to comfort this human and stay by her side. ver since he's been with Marie and hardly leaves her side, he even menages to stick his head in her window at night and sleep with his head curled around her bed.

Powers (Up to three): Photokinesis; allows him to control lighting, change the color of light, bend small lasers, make his (and other's) aura visible to others, and he can also create minor illusions. He can summon light to a dark room or erase it all in a bright room. He can also 'cloak' himself, there are many possibilities when in control of light particles. Nejour also has his breed specific power of magic, he is an ample magic user and is efficient in the necessary spells for enhancements such as speed, stamina, strength and various other attack and defense spells. Lastly, due to his bond with Marie, he has the ability to transfer two of his abilities to her. His night vision and Biokinesis which allows her to change into any human or animal. It is extremely dangerous when in the learning stage because she could lose her enitre identity, all the makes her who she is, if she does anything even remotely wrong. Hastarius has had to go back in time on a few occasions to stop her from making a mistake.

 

 

((I hope this is okay, especially in Nejour's case because the Atmoskinesis is considered universally as one power and Blacks have the power of magic...I just want to verify if it's okay with you. Of course, it takes up a lot of energy, as it should.))

Powers: Manipulation of Water; Ice, she breathes a blue flame that freezes instead of burns and she is able to freeze or unfreeze water; Invisibility, she is able to turn a very clear color like ice making her very hard to see but as long as she's in this state, she continually loses energy. If she becomes bonded to a human, when she is old enough and her powers have matured enough, her bond will have the power to freeze and unfreeze water and other objects. Also, when Tyra and her bond are physically together, Tyra can make her bond invisible as well as herself as long as they're touching one another but only for a certain period of time as it takes up energy.

Nice powers, Tyra. One question- how strong would the bond's ability be? Also, I like Jennifer's backstory.

The bond's powers wouldn't be as strong as Tyra's. For example, Tyra(as an adult) could probably freeze a larger thing like an oak tree while the bond could only freeze something smaller like maybe a bush. Another example would be Tyra(as an adult) could freeze a good portion of a river while the bond could only freeze maybe 10 gallons of water at a time. Does that sound good? Or is it too much or too little?
