Bump from page 2!

BBW eggs #32, 33 and 34!

Today I have 3 BBW eggies looking for a home. One is a cave born, who wishes to be with it's own kind, preferably joining a BBW army. Number Two is a child of the Thuwed clan. His family tree is an even generation variety, with it's mother's side being dorsals and whiptails. The third one has SW and Val'12 grandparents, whose family tree is an even generation variety.

Man oh man, Sunny! Every time I think I might (maybe) catch up, you blow up again! But I'll gain on you... just wait (gee, I'm not competitive much, am? which is odd, because normally I'm not) .

I see Science Geek is where I'm at, so I gotta scramble for some more... I wonder what Warrior's count is. *head desk* I don't think I've ever been this competitive about something in this way.

On a nicer note, I'm looking for a lineage swap. I've got a lovely 3rd gen frill x bbw that I'd like to get a nice 2nd gen frill x bbw for. I'm trying to get a partner for my lovely 4th gen, and so I need another partner for the new 2nd gen frill x bbw I've got. But if you've not got a bbw x frill, a nice 2nd gen of any sort of partner will do.

Aryn is real busy with RL, so it takes some time for stuff to be updated. But you can get an idea of where people are at by reading through the thread or checking participant scrolls (like I do).

And thank you for the lovely 2nd gen trade. I'm building up to a 6th gen with frills base, so I need as many 2nd gen frill x bbws as I can get.

You are welcome. I read your post wrong at first and tried to make an even third gen... did't work and I was all, AWW, until I reread it and was like Ah!

I have 2 more CB Frills, if you want to trade for their babies too... They are both females, my only male is a second gen.

Just a suggestion. You guys ever think of giving out milestone prizes? For example if someone reaches 150 BBWs they get a rare/uncommon of their choice.

Also you could have checkpoints every two months or something and give out prizes to the people who are at the top. That should keep people interested. If you do that, you may be able to give out other holiday (Halloween and Valentine) prizes as well.

Can't say I thought of it... but now that it's brought up, I'm thinking no. Anyone else is welcome to give those out (it's happened a few times already), but that undermines half the point of the contest. Yes, the first half of this is about making BBWs rarer-- but the milestone thing is kind of a trademark of AP-clearing and common-collecting threads, and if anyone wants to do that, they are certainly welcome to join those other threads.

The back half (and to be honest, the much more important half, from my own point of view as a holly owner) is making sure that the people who win the hollies want them that badly. If people need monthly or milestone rewards just to stay interested, then those are not people we are interested in gifting hollies to.

Oh dear, I wish I had seen this sooner! I'm not sure if I'll join in at this point, seeing as it's July already. If I raise nothing but BBW from this point forward (barring new releases), I wonder if I would have a chance?

Yes. The contest started in February and doesn't end until December-- we're only halfway through! The way things are going so far, if you collected nothing but BBWs (and new releases) from here on, you'd win a holly. Particularly if you also traded for hatchlings and/or got friends to help, as some do.

And unless this December goes very, very badly, we'll do this again in 2013 (again, starting in February) with a different breed, which we haven't chosen yet (As of January 2012, the ratios reset every first of the year-- we won't decide which breed to collect until we see what the new breed ratios in the cave are). Unlike, say, that Secret Santa I keep doing on various websites, this is actually not much work to maintain, administratively... and while counting up BBWs on each scroll will be time-consuming in December, there are others to split the work with, and it's a whole lot smoother than making sure everyone gets and gives a present!

Hello again peeps! I have a 4th Even-Gen eggy up for trade! I'm looking for a male + female hatchie pair (or 2 eggs), with the male (or first egg) having a BBW daddy+SW mommy, and the female( or second egg) having a Val'11 Daddy + BBW mommy. If you have any dragons in this lineage right now, please offer up some new blood, if you can.

I bred this as a request for someone, they didn't pick it up. I offered it to the next person who wanted this set up, and they haven't picked it up either. I already have one from this pair that I'm planing to use are breeding fodder, so... one pretty little hatchling up for a lineage swap.

Welp. I'm just going to update everything here. Also, for anyone creeping on me. My sister and friend are helping me take over my page with BBW's. So if you see my numbers going up its because of their help. We all want a decent lineaged Holly and if at least one of us can get one we all can eventually get one, its all a plot. Muahahahha, and all considering seeing all of you people with exetreme numbers I'm glad I have help.

It's not a nightmare if you use this excel trick Someone posted it earlier, but I can't remember the link or username. You just highlight the BBWs you want, open an excel sheet and go paste special- past unicode text. The 5 digit code of each dragon will appear, and you can combine that with a http://dragcave.net/lineage/ to make each link. It only takes 5 minutes to list all my dragons this way

Man, you killing me, Sunny. I almost at the 300 mark *pokes the ~~three~~ two slow growing hatchlings* I'll be happy if I can get another 300 between now and Dec - since it's taken me five bloody months to get this high. Which means, yes, I am officially at 298!

But, I've got some cool lineages!
