Lucky Pairs

Recommended Posts

I almost always get a Black from him x her.

Same with him x her.

Haven't given any of them much of a chance to fail, though.

Well, they may not be rare or extremely hard to breed, but my Ridgewings are by far my most generous breeders =) Alpine and Sickness and then these two almost always produce and thanks to them, Ridgewings are a favorite of mine.

Attempting to get an egg from any other Ridge pair is hit-or-miss =o I guess the above two pairs have all the luck.

Spirit of Sunfire & Naphela. I split him up with some other random purple, since his lineage was meh and it didn't really matter what I bred him to... never got a single egg. Bred him to Naphela again after, I don't know, 2 years? BAM, gold egg, first thing.

Parents of this silver.

Four silvers. In a row.

Well, outside Halloween it's not like they can produce anything else...

Great part about breeding with Holiday dragons. :3

This Silver Tinsel and its Pink mate are my best breeders. It's only ever on rare occasions that they give me no eggs. I think they think pinks are rarer than Tinsels...

I bred my only two CB blacks. One was a lucky catch, the other I won in a contest and was generously gifted by a donator (thank you!).

They not only not refused (my greatest fear), but they gave me this.

My best pair are

- cb magi x cb white http://dragcave.net/progeny/qX1O

Love how they are so almost perfecly precise in giving one breed or the other, following series of 3

- cb vine x cb ribbon dancer http://dragcave.net/progeny/Zuln

They produced an egg over 90% of the times I bred them

- cb magi x cb magma http://dragcave.net/progeny/np9a

A magma producing 25 offsprings in a year is great enough, and if 6 of them are magma is fantastic smile.gif

And of course them

- cb black x cb black http://dragcave.net/progeny/Pq7ci

When I bred them the first time I was really fearing a refusal, instead they not only liked each other but produced an egg. Then I sometimes tried to breed them with other mates, but never got a single egg from neither of them. Of the contrary, the times I bred them together, thay always produced! laugh.gif

I think they think pinks are rarer than Tinsels...

This might actually be true, since pinks are in high demand for Influence and tinsels seem to breed quite fertilely. xd.png

And to stay on topic... This pair has bred quite successfully--look at all those geodes!

my first Gold female used to be a very capricious lady for about a year. she wouldn't give me a single Gold egg! but since she met my my male Marrow - and it was o the 1st of December 2011, she gave me 4 shiny eggs! well, not at every breeding, but still this is my luckiest pair! Edited by ksew
