Ocius kept on his path. Great, I'm hopelessly lost... He sighed and looked around. To him it all looked the same. Trees and bushes, trees and bushes. "This sucks!" He yelled out. He sighed and looked for some place to sleep the rest of the night.

((It's morning, right? I'm a bit confused on the time skip mentioned on the OCC))

Spyro woke a long while later, pleased to see Song still sound asleep. Careful not to arouse her, he got to his hooves and trotted out of the cave. He decided it would be a good idea to hunt, since to his knowledge none of the hatchlings had eaten since they had left the lab. The horse dragon circled the forest from above until he found a young buck. He finished it off quickly, before batheing it in blue fire until it was well cooked and dripping with juices. They'll love this, he thought happily, picking the carcass up and flying back to the cave. Once there, he landed before calling out, "Who's hungry?"

~~~~~~~~~
Skye woke to the smell of meat. Not the chemically stuff the scientists had fed her, but real meat. She looked up towards the entrance of the cave to see Spyro with an animal carcass. She didn't know what it was, but it sure was big! It smelled really good too. She timidly walked forward, only pausing to see if anyone else was going to eat as well.
Song's eyes slowly flickered open and her nose immediately picked up a warm and delicious scent. Wait....am I in the CAVE?! she thought, jumping up and looking around. I am! Song forced her tired legs to propel her out and she stumbled as the morning sunlight hit her face. She looked over at Spyro and the carcass. "I--," she stopped herself from calling out. I suppose if I'm their 'leader' I should let them go before me. After all, their welfare is kind of my top priority, she thought, looking around to see if anyone was awake. "'Morning, Skye," she said cheerfully.
( I thought that someone would notice the absences of two anonymous little hatchlings...
Maybe later.
Sorry I was gone for a few days. I went to General Conference. Fun trip, yeah.)
"So, you can teach me magic?" Klutz asked, excited that he may be able to actually learn such feats. "I thought that only magi's can use magic."
"Yes, but you are half me and half your mother. You may not be able to use as much magic as I can, but some more than none, right?"
"Yes. Can you show me some of the stuff that you can do with magic?"
"You want a demonstration?" He said. Something glowy at the entrance at the cave caught his eye. It was Moona. "Maybe I can make a demonstration out of our little trespasser, over here." He scowled at her. Klutz turned around almost instantly.
"Moona! What are you doing here?" He exclaimed, and then turned back to his father. "She's not a trespasser; she's a friend. I didn't know she was following me, though. I actually didn't know you didn't want anyone else here.
"Oh, so she's a stalker and a spy, too?" He said. "Go away," he responded, coldly.
Gah....no one is gonna notice that Isthalas brought back a fox now, psssh, Spyro, stealing my thunder x3))
Isthalas was still, deathly so as she laid curled up, the fur, flesh and bones from a piece of her first catch still lay discarded at her feet, bloodless and wrinkled. It was Isthalas' turn to sleep, now, her body having gone motionless as if she were naught but a corpse, a frighteningly sickly pale copy of her night time self. Her chest did not rise nor did her heart beat. Her mind was blank and there were no pulses or signs of life, for all anyone would know,s he was dead. Which was unfortunate, because if they should pronounce her as such they might leave her, or worse, bury her. Isthalas couldn't even pretend to worry about such things, for she had no thoughts, no dreams. She was lost in the oblivion of her curse as a vampire dragon.
However, despite her misfortune, there was one positive side to her 'condition'. Unmoving as she was and as dead as she might be, there was something inside of her that was moving of it's own accord, twisting and whirring about her broken bone and torn wing membrane. Her mind and her body were completely unaware of the regeneration that was occurring invisibly to the naked eye. It was a slow going process but instead of perhaps 6 months of healing and mending, she would have proper, and as well painless, use of her wing in perhaps half or even one third of that time.
Mustafa was roused from his sleep long before the other dragons had begun to stir, he watched expressionlessly as the horse, known as Spyro, got up from where he rested and left the cave. Moving to his feet in one graceful move he worked his way down from the ledge where he'd eventually wandered to and fallen asleep. Down at the bottom on the cave floor he looked at each of the hatchlings, counting them. He spotted the vampire before he'd finished counting and hardly noticed she wasn't breathing, she simply appeared to be asleep. Looking away he spotted the lovely white scales, visible even in the dark of the dawn light. She was peacefully at sleep and Mustafa made his way to her.
Before reaching her the clicking of hooves on stone marred his his thoughts and shook his gaze until it landed on the returning dragon, a corpse carried with it and smelling deliciously fresh. As if by signal the hatchlings stirred, aroused from their sleep by the smell of coveted flesh and meat to sate their hungering bellies. Mustafa watched as even the white awoke, ready to have at the buck which bled tauntingly. She appeared to be at war with herself, in calm sense of course, she was realizing something which kept her at bay. Curious, Mustafa approached, his elegant gait smooth as ever. Yielding at her flank and coming to stand beside her, shoulder to shoulder he kept his eyes on the body.
"Are you hungry, Song?" He asked. "Why is it you do not indulge yourself, then?"
((It makes sense if their parents could do it. If i'm not mistaken Klutz's dad is suppose to be a magi dragon, so its plausible that he would have inherited some skill in magic.))
Ocius woke with the sun. He has fallen asleep under a bush, resulting in him bumping his head on a branch when he stood up. After eating a few berries off the bush, he continued on his way, not really sure anymore where he was going.
"Klutz was just... Being weird." She turned to the Magi."You have no right to tell me what to do. I am not going to go away." She said, her voice stern. She stomped her foot as if nothing would take her away. Moona folded her arms."I can be mean, too."
Song jumped as a voice came from somewhere beside her. "Huh? What? Who's there?" she asked, looking side to side rapidly as she tried to find the strange voice that had frightened her. She caught a flash of bright silver scales and figured out it was the kind Silver who had offered his cave as a temporary place to rest earlier. "Oh, good morning Mustafa! Heheh, didn't see you there..." she said, laughing nervously. "Hungry? No, not really," she lied innocently, giving a forced smile. Idiot! You haven't eaten properly in days! I know, I know! But they come first! Dragons don't survive by starving! But they need it more... Her thoughts began to wage war upon themselves until she shook her head until she was dizzy. "You know what? 'Scuse me for a minute, I'm going to get a drink," she said, glancing at Mustafa then dashing down the rocks. She stopped near a crystal-clear pond in the wooded area and looked down at herself in the water. Her worried brown eyes stared right back at her as if asking what was the right thing to do. Not knowing, she sat down, her head low and tail curled tightly around her feet.
Spyro glanced over his shoulder as Song ran off to get a drink. He could tell she was hungry, he knew the feeling well. The horse dragon ripped off a large strip of meat from the carcass and said to Skye and Mustafa, "Go ahead, I can eat later and even hunt something else if need be. Enjoy it while it's warm." He picked the piece up and followed Song to the riverbed. He stopped beside her and dropped the meat at her paws. "I know you feel that they should eat first, but you shouldn't let yourself become weak from hunger. There is plenty for everyone."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Skye moved forward towards the sweet smelling carcass. She reached forward and took a tentative bite. "Mmmmmm!" she exclaimed, ripping another chunk from the leg and gulping it down. "It's really good, try some!" she said to Mustafa, sitting down and eating some more of the tender flesh. Now this is a meal! she thought happily, thankful to not be forced to eat that mush the scientists had provided as "food."

Klutz's father snarled at the defiance of the hatchling. With a small growl, he raised his forepaw. A small burst of light came from it, and a large, roundish rock levitated from the cave ground. With a flick of his wrist, the earth hurled itself like a cannonball. It hit the roof of the cave right in front of and above Moona, knocking a handful of gravel loose.

"Next time, I aim lower," he commented, coldly.

Moona crouched and her tail whacked all the gravel off."IM not leaving." She said again. She got up. "I'm Klutz's friend and you have no right. Your not my parents, are you?" She said, in a mocking voice.

Song lifted her head a little as a warm piece of deer meat was dropped in front of her and heard a voice. Out of the corner of her eye she saw bright purple scales. Apart from that, her nose picked up the smell and immediately knew it was Spyro. She picked the food up with her claws and looked at it before giving in to temptation and taking a tiny nibble out of it. It was good! "Um, thank you!" she said, turning around and smiling a little at Spyro. She took another bite of the meat, this time bigger. The warm food tasted much, much better than what she had had at the 'Lab' place. Song then proceeded to take a mouthful of the cold water which soothed her dry throat. It, like the food, was very refreshing.

Spyro smiled and said, "I knew you'd like it. But I'll leave you to yourself for awhile." He then turned and trotted out into the trees. His trots soon turned to a slow canter as he wove through the tangle of vegitation untl he reached the edge of the forest. He stared at the white lab building, a pang of sadness for the hatchlings still inside stabbing at him. He wished her could help them. He wished he could free them...

Ocius eventually made it to a river. He looked left and right but did not see anyone or any way to cross. Maybe I'll find them if I follow this river. He made his way up stream while following this train of thought.

"No... Right?" he grumbled, gritting his teeth. "You mean to say that I have no right to my own son? In my own cave, where my wife was carelessly slaughtered?" His voice was rising, and the area rumbled slightly with anger. "I'll tell you who doesn't have right!" He was shouting now, but it wasn't toward the hatchling. "Those wretched humans! They think they can just wander into whatever place pleases them, taking what they want and destroying anything that gets in their way! I planted that tree ring for a reason, you know!" The cave was rumbling as if were in an earthquake. But it didn't last long, as he lay silent for a few moments. Turning the tone down on his voice, but not his gravelly anger, he stepped outside and around the hatchling. He looked out to the grave where his passed wife lay. He notioned to it. Emotionally rickety, he spoke to Moona.

"Now, look at that, and tell me that I don't have the right."

~~~
Klutz listened to the arguement between one of his closest friends and his closest relative. He just wanted it to stop. Suddenly, his father left the room, and he quickly followed him out. He saw the grave of his mother that he didn't see before on his way in. He slowly trodded his way over it, burdened with grief. At the base, he lowered his head.
"Mom..."
He sniffed slightly, and a tear rolled down his cheek.
"But you do... Everyone has rights." Moona said. She watched as The Magi dragon turned to the grave."Humans don't know anything..." Hae mumbled."Could I follow along?" Moona sled Klutz's father. She knew she made him mad, but, he wouldn't kill her would he? Moona sprung after Klutz.
((Moona aught to at least have a little respect...seriously))
Mustafa watched Song go and watched Spyro follow after her with meat. Something twisted oddly in his chest and it made the silver dragon frown; it certainly didn't become him. He wondered what that pang had been but since he was unfamiliar with this soft burning feeling he turned away, pardoning himself before the hatchling who ate near him, and walked off deeper into the cave.
Farther and farther he walked, his scales gleaming majestically all the way until finally, when it seemed the cave had ended, he lifted into the air, his body as smoothly flowing as silk in a stream. No dragon could have known of the hidden niche, he had not know it either until discovering it by chance due to his unearthly glowing scales producing a light which cast the shadow, revealing it to him. Slipping inside the opening he flew, though more like swam, through the air on an invisible current which wound through countless corridors imbedded deep inside the rock. Coming to a secret cave he heard it's presence long before he could see it.
Trickling water from an opening at the top of the cave made music like crying faeries and dancing stars greeted his ears with both a pleasant and sad sound. Beneath the small water vein two enormous mounds hefted up the ground and produced small hills, each the size of full grown dragons; as well they should have been for they were the graves of Mustafa's parents. Once, long ago, those buried bodies had embraced him warmly and had glowed with a light that cleansed your very soul upon seeing it. Mustafa had bathed in that light many a time and it seemed he'd absorbed his mother's love, his scales were his most beloved anomaly, a kind of proof of his parent's existence. Between the mounds there was a fair space, room enough for another full grown silver dragon; room enough for Mustafa to lie beside his parents upon his own demise.
Bowing his head in respect for a moment he raised it and approached them so that they both filled his entire span of vision. "Mother, Father." He looked at each of their graves respectively and then laid his eyes on the sun roof which spouted a ray of light in the empty space of his own destined grave. "We have guests, here, they fill our cave with life as they struggle for their right to survive in a world without humans, without strife. I presented them with shelter and soon we will travel to another cave int he mountains far beyond here. I will have to leave you here to rest, alone." Mustafa's voice was calm and even, it never faltered despite the adapted grief in his green eyes, silver and gold flecks alike sparking sadly. "I do not know yet if I will stay with them, or if I will return here once their journey is over and they are safe. Much can happen in such little time. Expect a visit from me as always, for that is one tradition I will never give up on wherever in the world I may be. This is my home..." Mustafa cast his eyes down to the cool cave floor, moist and chilled from the natural spring. He lay down, his scales receiving the refreshing feeling of the ground like a sigh of breath. His strength left him and he remained there, resting peacefully with his parents before him, his scales glowing as if to affirm his life; his scales shimmered amongst his body in a defiant confirmation. He would not reside here just yet amongst his parents and the many ancestors of his kind who lay within the caves riddled throughout this mountain of their own; their Silver Mountain.
((So, both Klutz and Mustafa are out visiting their parent's(s') grave(s.) Interesting.))
Klutz was humbled at the grave of his mother. He glanced over to Moona, who was looking over his shoulder. She was informed, so he briefed her.
"This is my mother's grave. She died trying to protect me from the humans," he said, mournfully. Trying to break the gloom, he reset his facial composure and asked his father a question. "So, you were going to teach me magic?"
"Oh, yeah," he said, and then turned to Moona. "Go. You have no business here."
Expecting that Moona would be defiant, Klutz added to the conversation. "Tell everyone were I am. They are probably worried sick."
((Okay, can you guys do me a favor?
Everyone, please make your characters realize that Klutz and Moona are missing. It'll add to dramatic tension. I have drama classes, so I know.
Girlfairy, if you are going to make Moona leave (Which I highly recommend, or Klutz's father may beat you into submission and send you to February 33rd) please make the trip longer than just one post. I want everyone else to have time to be worried, m'kay?))
Skye ate until she simply could not down another piece of meat. She had never been so full in her life. She drank from a small puddle before lying out on a flat rock to sunbathe. Looking around, she noticed that Klutz and Moona were missing. Huh, I wonder where they are, she thought. The young daydream wasn't too worried at the moment, but it wasn't like them to just wander off...
“I'm not leaving. I'd love to watch an Ochredrake use magic.” Moona said. She spun in a circle.“I don't care if you beat me up, I'm staying with you guys” Moona didn't have anything to do in the cave anyway. Maybe I coukd trt magic, too... she thought.
((I don't think magic would fit either 2 hatchlings. ›_‹))
(Klutz is half-magi. I bet he might be able to learn at least SOME magic.)
"Hmmph," muttered the Magi. "Fine. You won't leave, I'll just have to escort you, myself."
He closed his eyes for a moment and lifted his paw. The magical burst of light came from it as he focused his energy into the channels of the magical realm, and throw it into the forest. A large, purple-hued wall in an ovular shape formed it's way around both Klutz and his father. It grew, slowly, expanding it's way around the two.
"You have two choices: go away, or be shoved away."
(For Girlfairy: the wall is practically impassible, unless you, too, can use magic. It will continue to grow until it hits the ring of trees, where it will stop. Be sure not you let Moona get squished between a tree and the wall, though!)
