Dragon Clans of the Elements

Song tensed as she heard rusting. Gripping her staff more tightly, she called out. "Show yourselves." Dead silence. Song narrowed her eyes. "Come out," she growled, louder. She suddenly lashed out, twisting around and letting her claws slice through the air as a rustle sounded from behind her. A terrified-looking squirrel scampered away, squeaking in fear. It's just a squirrel... You're not being ambushed, she thought soothingly, trying to calm herself down. She slowly turned back around and fixed her gaze on the border. Song saw no signs of life, but how long would that last?

Missy shifted uncomfortably in the hollow spot. What's this...reek? she thought. She got up, rubbing her eyes, and smelled the air. "hello?" she said. She decided not to worry. The clan needs to sleep. But I can't in this... Reek. Smells of another clan. she thought. Wearily she stumbled into the den and piled herself over a huge herb she used as a bed.

Garthalon chased a stranded deer ,he knew the deer was sick or downright stupid ,because of the fact it was in Dark clan territory.Hunting was his favorite past-time,he was a warrior to the core, plus he need to fine tune his combat skills. He came close to his prey and rammed his head into its side ,the cry of pain from the deer enjoyed him,but the deer didn't stop ,but it did limp.Garthalon then flew into the air and struck down on the deer ,breaking it's back. Then,Gorthalon grabbed the deer's neck ,and finished it.Garthalon was not impressed by his kill no danger,no scars of his own,no excitment,But in the coming days that might change.Envigorated by his thoughts,Garthalon let out a cry that that would terrify the weak, then began to eat.

Her head whipped towards the purple nebula. Lymu wrapped her own tail around herself protectively and nodded a greeting to Dharsii. She had to be honset, she was quiet jeaous of his beauiful wings. They looked like mini stars painted on them with waves of aurora on it. "Song is out, doing something for the Wind Clan. Is your news urgent?" she questioned him. An another crack of thunder filled the sky as it all of the sudden started pouring rain. Rain drops dripping down Lymu's face but she didn't bother to shield her face from the rain, there wasn't any point anyway. Already the dirt started to become dirt and muddy, that was the only thing that Lymu disliked about the rain. The ground would start to become hard to walk in and ect.

There was a deafening crack of thunder overhead before torrents of rain began falling down to quench the thirsty ground and create splashes in the great lake of the water clan. Tyra lifted her thin muzzle towards the sky, droplets of rain streaking down her face. She smiled, closing her violet eyes and letting the refreshing rain caress her scales.

Alania flicked her head around, hearing whispering from the trees. A squirrel has gone missing from its home, killed by...something. Something small. She stood upon her perch, alert. While it could be anything, the wind carried with it the scent of youth. The only hatchlings in the area were within the Mother Tree, and she had familiarized herself with their scents. She leaped down to check the nests. No one was missing, and no new hatchlings were crying out for their mother. Alania became suspicious. If there was another hatchling in her forest, and it was not her own, who's was it?

Her scales rattled as she stepped out into the night. She closed her eyes, focusing her inner thoughts and listening to the wind.

West. West.

She looked around, making one last check before heading off in the direction of the wind, sniffing at the wind and following the scent of the intruder.

Shadow smiled gleefully as he tossed the dead squirrel across the ground again. He leapt past it then rounded on the corpse and coated it in blue flames. He hissed through his grin as the flames died away, leaving scorched earth and a well cooked squirrel. He settled into his meal.

The young darkmyst pygmy lifted his head at the sound of thunder and heard rain begining to fall. He soon felt the cool drops hitting his ebony scales and spread his wings over his head and his kill to keep the rain off of it.

Once he finished his meal he followed his flicking tongue to the edge of a large lake. He wondered breifly if it was Water Clan territory, but quickly decided he didn't care. He walked down to the edge of the water and began to drink.

~

Dharsii circled around Lymu without landing. "There wasn't anything important happening along the Fire and Earth boarders. I was hoping to ask her if anything else had happened along or other boarders." The young nebula heard the thunder and felt the rain fallin on him. He then circled around once more and landed slightly further down the slope from the thunder dragon. A sign of respect, giving her the higher position. He clung to his ledge with his talons and folded his shinning purple wings in a fashion much like that of a bird.

~

Siidrakon heard the far off sound of thunder and hissed displeased. He did not care for rain. But rain rarely came to the land of the Fire Clan so he didmissed it and swooped down into the home volcano. He flew down nearer to the magma at the bottom and landed on a ledge just above the molten rock. He crept into the cave at the end of the ledge, crawling like a giant bat. He found the clutch rooms of Fire Clan eggs and set about checking with the egg mothers about the state of their nests.

Enya looked up from her hunting, a small pile of unconscious food beside her. Thunder was booming in the distance, and her mood turned slightly sour. "If rain comes here, I'm staying inside for the rest of the day." Scowling to herself, she grabbed the pile in her claws and took off, turning back toward the dens. "It's not much, but it'll have to do for now," She said under her breath, flying down into the volcano and dropped her catch off.

Azael kicked and clawed at the inner wall of his egg. He grew tired of the constant darkness and wanted to explore the outside world. All this struggling from within the egg had caused it to wobble precariously on its mossy nest. This wobbling continued for a good 2-3 minutes before finally toppling over onto its side.

Unfortunetly for Azael he was now on his back which was slightly uncomfortable for the young hatchling, however this distress did bring with it some fortune. A crack had appeared just inches beside his head and dim light just barely managed to squeeze its way through momentarily blinding Azael's right eye. Azael twisted and squirmed trying to reposition himself so that he could claw against this point of weakness and break free of his temporary prison. The crack grew steadily longer, branching off in several directions now as Azael exerted more effort into breaking free.

Air rushed in through this hole in the egg, sending shiver's down Azael's spine, dozens of different aroma's tickled his nostril's as he took in his first breath of fresh air. He looked out from the oval he once called home and to his shock was greeted by a scenery he wasn't expecting. Several other eggs were all nestled snuggly around his, and surrounding those egg's was some sort of small fleshy mountain (Mi'Sad's tail and body xd.png), and that wasn't the biggest shock... all of this was covered by some sort of roof which stretched out from the peak of the fleshy mountain.

Azael chirped on instinct, looking for some form of comfort in this alien world.

Alania flicked her tongue, tasting the air. Yes, this was definitely a foreigner in her forest. She followed the scent to one of the many lakes that dotted the whole of the realm, staying within the trees where her natural camouflage broke up her figure in the shadows of the foliage. She looked on at a small black dragon as rain began to fall. After a few more sniffs of the air and examination of the small footprints left in the moss, she identified the dragon as a young Darkmist Pygmy.

They only associate with DarkClan, she thought to herself, fighting back a growl. It would make sense to send something so small into our lands for recon, especially after having distracted us with a Vampire overhead...

She crouched low, like a tiger stalking its prey. With a lurch, she sprung forward toward the small dragon, claws outstretched and teeth bared.

bloodvein flew through the dark sky towards darkclans land. Approaching the territory he noticed movement around the eggs. He swooped down like a bird towards MiSad and the eggs. He reached the eggs and landed next to them. He saw a baby hatchling wondering around and heading towards MiSad. Blood crept up behind the little hatchie and said in his Dark voice, Hello little guy welcome to dark clan! Im the deputy whats your name?

Shadow heard the rustle of vegitation behind him and threw himself to the side just as the massive Terrae dragon exploded from the forest. The young pygmy hissed and flared his wings in a threat display. His tal lashed back and forth in excitement. He had never seen another dragon aside from those in the Drak Clan before. This other dragon was much larger than he was but the young dragon roared out his defiance to the massive female.

Alania came to a skidding halt, her forelegs splashing in the water as she quickly turned and lashed her tail, sending water up in a spray behind her. She faced the pygmy, hackles raised and teeth bared as she let out a loud hiss.

"DarkClan vermin! You dare to trespass on EarthClan soil? What gives you such gall?" she growled. "You lot are nothing but thieving murderers! You've nothing to be proud of. Nothing, at least, that makes you worthy of stepping foot on MY homeland!"

Azael turned around as he heard the dark voice of blood. His first instinct was to make himself look smaller by ducking down low and remaining as still as possible. He looked the vampire in the eye, "A...z..ae..l' he stuttered, still trying to take in the sheer enormity of this creature's size compared to his own.

Nothing, Song thought. How is it that the blood of WindClan prey is mixed with their scent, and they are nowhere to be found? With a growl-like sigh, she turned around and began to flap her wings. Song rose into the air and rocketed up to the mountain. She circled her home, wondering where to land.

Song flinched as a bolt of lightning touched down. She was soon being battered by rain and wind. What kind of freak storm is this? she thought, her wings useless against the wind. Song finally caught a wind going in the right direction, but it almost smashed her into the mountainside. Song caught herself as its rocky face flew into her view rapidly and went around the peak. She sighed in relief as her claws touched the edge of her den and she crawled in and laid down, cold and soaked. Lymu, I am back. At least I didn't get struck by lightning? she sent with a small laugh.

Missy got up.Maybe I should go... Well it's better then staring at the stars. she thought. Missy followed the scent and bumped into Alania."Hello Alania. What's this wrongdoer doing on our territory?" she said growling at the Dark Myst Pygmy." DarkClan! But just an apprentice..." Missy said. She sighed."it's a little one? Well it seems it didn't come here by mistake." she said.

Tyra was quite busy enjoying herself in the downpour of precious rain when suddenly her eyes shot open and she became dead still Her nostrils flared as she caught scent of an unknown dragon. She concentrated and felt the vibrations and movement of the water. The rain made it difficult but she could sense and smell another dragon on the far edge of the lake, towards the Earth clan. This, however, was no water nor earth clan dragon... This one brought a disturbance, a trail of blood, smoke, and suffering. The young ice dragoness shuddered then her eyes widened. She knew that smell, the smell of blood, rot, and destruction! Somehow, somewhere... like a de ja vou from her past... It frightened her, this intruder.

Suddenly, there were more dragons, splashing around on the edge of the lake. Scents became muddled but she could make out the they probably Earth Clan. She began to fill with anger, feeling safer knowing the Earth clan was there. How dare an evil dragon, most likely from Dark Clan, set foot in her Clan's Lake! She growled and before Shatter Heart could protest, she began swiftly swimming towards the scene. She knew her father could also sense this disturbance and he would more than likely seek out the intruder to protect his clan.

Mi'Sad uncovered the eggs as one started to hatch. Finally! She had begun to wonder if it was a bad clutch, they had been taking so long... But that didn't matter now, one of them had hatched! She watched as the deputy alighted down and started to talk to the little one and she couldn't help but feel territorial over it. A very quiet growl escaped her throat, but she silenced it almost as soon as it started. Suddenly, the deupty lifted off and she breathed a sigh of releif. Azael? Is that what his called himself? "Azael?" Mi'Sad said softly, "He's right, it's quite late at night and you only just hatched. Come over here close to me and I'll keep you warm."
