Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) This is a silly poem I wrote last year about the holly-day rush for, well, Holly eggs. Players sometimes gripe about how they can't find one, so I altered the first poem to make a new one about how frustrated people can get. Here's both of them for your enjoyment ~*~*~*~ Oh, what I would do for a Holly What I'd do for just one little egg If you said that you wanted to trade one I'd give you an arm and a leg Oh, what I would do for a Holly For this precious, rare gemstone The mere thought of finally catching one Refuses to leave me alone. And if I ever did catch a Holly I'd dance and I'd scream in elation My joy would be almost unequaled I'd call for a huge celebration. And if I ever did catch a Holly Of course I would find it a mate So that every year, come Christmas New Hollies will make someone's day. 5 hours of painful searching later… Oh, why can't I catch just one Holly Why can't I find one little egg If I don't spot one by next morning I'll cut off an arm and a leg Oh, why can't I catch just one Holly This beautiful, rare gemstone Has held me in anguish and torment It refuses to leave me alone. Oh, yes! Look, I've caught a new Holly I dance and I scream in elation My joy now is almost unequaled Come on, let's have a celebration! Oh, yes! Look, I've caught a new Holly I dare you to pinch me awake What's that? Fell asleep on my keyboard? Gosh darn! It was a good dream, for heaven's sake! Oh, why can't I catch just one Holly… Edited December 19, 2011 by Sunrise Share this post Link to post
