Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) So, I'm trying to get one of each type of Undead. I'm also trying to get one of each Biome tombstone without getting doubles. So, I need help filling out this chart Amphiter: Sunsong - Jungle Eastern: X - X Wyrm: Any but Thalassa - Bred (Thalassa is a Leviathan, it says) Leviathan: Waters / Deepseas - Coast Lindwurm: X - Anywhere but Jungle / Coast Wingless: X - X (Have one, From Volcano, if that helps) Western: X - X Wyvern: X - X See, I know someone said that it goes off the Dragon Encyclopedia, not the Wiki, but the wiki is the only source I have here, ya know? Anyhow, Wingless, East, West and Wyvern are easy. Anything and anywhere. I saved the Xeno the Bred tombstone, because I'm not likely to find enough CB Xenos to risk murdering them. But Lindwurms are a problem. All of them are either Coastal or Pygmy/Two-Headed. As far as I can tell, these types never turn. And since I need to save my Coastal tombstone for a Leviathan, the only place one can get them, I'm at a loss. What should I do? Is there anything I've missed? Posted September 5, 2016 Leviathan as in Sea Serpent? That one could be a bred one, too: Shallow Water Dragon is one. Currently, there are 6 Biomes and 1 Bred tombstone, but 8 "known" Zombie sprites. You *will* get doubles somewhere. Also, Sunsong is currently not marked as an Amphiptere in the Encyclopedia, so that one will have a Western Undead sprite. That leaves only Skywing (Coast) or Bluna (Bred). However, TJ said that specific sprites for Pygmy, Drake and 2-Headed Undeads will also come "soon" which adds more spites to collect - and more double tombstones. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) Here's a list I made for myself, if that helps - hope it's correct and complete: Amphiptere: Skywing, Sungong (?), Bluna Eastern: Bolt, Gemshard, Heartstealer, Shimmer, Silver, Striped River Leviathan/Sea Serpent: Deep Sea, Shallow Water, Water Lindwurm: Blusang, Red-finned tidal Wingless: Vine, Dorsal, Aegis, Magma, Mint, Pillow, Sweetling, Terrae, Water Walker, Waterhorse Wyrm: all Xenos Wyvern: BBW, Carmine, Waverunner, Copper, Falconiform, Fever, Flamingo, Golden Wyvern, Hellfire, Nebula, Nhio, Seragramma, Tri-Horn, Tsunami Sunsong is marked "?" because of what ruby eyes said - they are currently westerns according to the encyclopedia, but I hope that gets fixed. Also, Thalassas are wyrms according to the encyclopedia. Maybe that will get changed at some point, but right now they are wyrms. Edited for typos. Posted October 1, 2016 I have been looking for something like this thank you for doing What i would like to asked as i have no idea what it what could anyone possibly add sprites to types? Think i could be useful to ones like me who have no idea of Eastern and Western dragons Do you mean to ask if images could be added to the list you quoted? Or did you want a definition of each type? The types are defined in the DR sticky in DR: Amphithere A winged, serpentine dragon that is lacking arms and legs. Example: Sunsong by JereduLevenin Drake A species created by Dovealove. They have a certain set of characteristics and can only breed with other drakes. Drakes: 1. Have four limbs/legs with leathery wings. 2. Have antlers. 3. Are smaller than the average dragon. 4. Have a similar intelligence level to dogs. 5. Only have an innate/natural level of magic. 6. Lack a thumb. Example: Orchredrake by Dovealove and Pokemonfan13 Eastern A long, serpentine dragon with four legs but no other limbs. Oftentimes Easterns may have branched horns, a furry mane, and fur at the end of their tails. Eastern dragons are capable of magic-assisted flight. Example: Silver by Kitoxa Lindwurm/Lindwyrm A serpentine dragon with no hind legs, only forelegs and wings. Example: Blusang by Corteo and JereduLevenin Pygmy A small dragon about the size of a housecat. They are the smallest dragons allowed on DC. They can only breed with other pygmies. Example: Pygmy by Vicats Sea Serpents A dragon with fins that lives in the water. Example: Deep Sea by Dovealove, Pokemonfan13, and Shiro Shitoro Two-Headed A dragon with two heads, two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. They can only breed with other two-headed dragons. Example: Split by CaityG and Odeen Western A dragon with wings and four legs. They are often stockier than Eastern dragons. Example: Red by Silvanon Wingless A dragon with four legs and no wings. Example: Magma by Dovealove, Shikaru, Shiro Shitoro, and TJ09 Wyrm/Wurm A limbless dragon. Take caution in making a wyrm species; if you're not careful you might end up with a snake instead of a dragon. Example: Gaia by birdzgoboom Wyvern A dragon with hind legs and wings that also act as modified arms. Example: Hellfire by JereduLevenin I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're asking. Posted October 9, 2016 Getting confused if I do this right - I just caught 7 eggs for hatchie zombie fodder and incubated them. Will care that they get views so they hatch. Then I take the ones I want for S1 Zombies off any sites (to let them die) while the ones I want for S2 Zombies shall get further views until they reach that stage. Then I take those off any sites as well to let them die. Is it correct that I fog them as soon as I don't want them to get anymore views to make sure they don't grow into adults? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 9, 2016 Yes. It stops people from manually viewing them. It also makes sure they don't age up with low views vlise to death. They are unfogged aftwr death. Share this post Link to post

Yeah, pretty much - and no peeking, because low-time hatchies with enough stats can grow up in the blink of an eye! Just be aware that, if you want s1 zombies, you need to keep their stats really low because the closer a hatchie gets to death, the fewer views it needs to gender. I'd recommend aiming for around 200 UVs or less to be sure. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 10, 2016 (edited) I'd recommend aiming for around 200 UVs or less to be sure. Or maybe just viewbomb it as soon as it hatches to keep it s1. And is a Seawyrm pygmy a lindwurm instead of a pygmy? It says so in the wiki but is not listed above. Edited October 10, 2016 by Sylvan_Moon Share this post Link to post

Posted October 12, 2016 I think this belongs here rather than the "success stories" thread (for which I think the title and subtitle should be switched because there are far more failures than successes). I'm working on a visual list of "which dragon makes which Zombie type": work in progress It's probably too big for smaller screens or mobile phones (and slow internet connections). But maybe it's helpful for people who prefer images over words when searching for information. The non-Zombie dragon images are linked to dragons on my scroll. The Zombies might be too in the future, I just don't have any right now, so I used the Wikia images. Missing breeds will be added later. I'm not sure if adding all the Westerns even makes sense, but for now I think I'll try. If there are mistakes on the page please let me know. Share this post Link to post

Could you possibly add a third row for the egg sprites too, please? Also, Cheese can be zombied. Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) Could you possibly add a third row for the egg sprites too, please? Eggs can't be zombified, so there are no zombie eggs, so I'm not sure what the purpose would be in adding regular dragon eggs? =o /just a tad confused EDIT: All terraes will turn as they are listed in the encyclopedia, and as they can't be classified as two different types under the same species, this isn't something likely to change unless TJ goes in and seriously tinkers with how the encyclopedia is set up, something I don't think he plans on changing. There are over 150 different dragons and now that I play way less than I used to I can't remember which egg belongs to which dragon. And if I do, I eventually forget. ;p Having the egg sprites on the list would help people like me quickly identify which eggs we should take in the AP, etc. to get the zombie type we wanted. Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) I've been trying to work up courage to actually make the deadline of my Silver Tinsel deadline lineage, and I think this thread helps... I didn't know about the kill message. I think if I'd killed without knowing about it I would've ended up with one dead dragon, a bucketful of tears, and a refusal to ever do that again... even naming the dragon 'silver tinsel deadline male/female 1/2/3/etc' was hard for me. I'm too attached to these pixel creatures. I think that now I know what the message is, it'll be easier not to cry when I see it. I'll make a few zombies this Halloween, too, I think. Maybe it'll help. Does anyone have a low-time messy hatchie that I can raise and kill? Edit - I have generously been given a Lunar Herald by Pattekat. I'll edit when it's matured, and post when it's killed and revived to note what happened to it. I named it - probably not a good idea in hindsight - 'Test of Bravery'.
