Posted October 15, 2014 I really like this lineage idea, but since I don't have any CB Shadows (hadn't started on DC when they came out), I'm afraid I can't do much to help with the starter generation. However, I have a lineage idea that would fit this project very well, so if I get the correct 2nd gens, I can breed on from there. I'm not really sure if it is allowed to request offspring without already being part of the project, but I thought I could try and see. If it's wrong to do so, my apologies, and please ignore this post. HUMBUG! Maybe I'm too used to the usually very explicit "What to do if you'd like to join"-part of other projects. But as it obviously works perfectly fine as it is, I guess you don't need to change anything. I'm looking forward to creating a beautiful Christmas Carol lineage ! Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) I was wondering if I could request an egg without joining per se? I would be happy to join with this line (I own the parents but that egg auto'd last Christmas ) but I'm not sure if it can count due to the CB dragons being unrelated. I would like a matching SW mate (so 3rd gen checker). I can return the match that I will produce this halloween (the SW sibling of the yulebuck shown). I kinda want to finish my other scroll goals before really committing to a lineage project If this is in anyway a viable venture that'd be grand, but I understand if you can't really give an egg away without a promise of a return gesture. Thanks ^^ Edit: OK, so I've had a look and this halloween I will be producing a 3rd gen with Alt Sweetlings as both grandfathers, 1 PB 2g, 1 3rd SW from yulebuck check (as mentioned above), a 3rd gen from male whites checker (I need to blood swap this though). Thanks for your post. If you're able to gift back even one offspring, that's all that's expected. You're more than welcome to join for future holiday breedings, etc., whenever you feel you'd like to! If I correctly interpreted, the CB parents for that Yulebuck are perfect - we don't have a required / registered CB founding generation devoted to the project (if that makes sense). And yes, I agree - I think having the SWs in the base, and then solid Gold throughout the rest of the generations will make for a gorgeous lineage. I love having that pop of unique combos in the base, makes it eye-catching. Hi, Grandmother_cathie! How are you? Members of the project had previously discussed possible inclusion of other Holiday breeds, and agreed that we'd maintain Shadow Walkers as the sole Holiday breed. Of course, if members wish to create their own independent lines using eggs gifted from the project, they're more than welcome to do so - and trade with other members.
