Posted August 3, 2016 (edited) If I stay up past the time my sleep meds kick in, I go through a brief period of being very loopy. I start having mental conversations with inanimate objects, I get preoccupied by random sensations or nonsense phrases, and incoherent text messages turn up on other people's phones. I have in the past released a dragon because I thought it was being rude when it wouldn't tell me its name. Edit: and I just found the strawberries on top of the fridge rather than inside it. I got up this evening to do some hunting for upcoming lineage projects, and kept drifting back to the Alpine looking for a last Almandine. I didn't see one, but I eventually went over to check on my growing babies and was surprised to see a shiny magenta egg sitting there. It was dated this morning. I have no memory of picking it up.
