DC Photography contest #44

OK, one day later than I promised but here goes:

 

The theme for this next competition is 'Communication'.

This can be interpreted in many ways: it could be people talking, a telephone, a newspaper, radio antennas, ...

Use your imagination!

 

Example:

 

 

The Rules:

- One entry per person

- Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

- No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.)

- No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo.

- When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness.

- You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition.

 

 

 

Closing date: Friday, November 18th

did I make that too hard? Come on people, people around you are communicating all the time! And things to communicate with are everywhere these days! I'm absolutely certain you are using one at the very moment you read this

Also think of signs, billboards, ...

 

Shouldn't be too hard to take a nice pic of something like that if you haven't got one already, I think?

they aren't moose; they're caribou.

 

and sorry for really bad quality, it scanned funny and then got resized, and yeah.

 

edit: and i hope it didn't have to be human communication. oops.

Happy Hawkhead

 

When Hawkheads put their gorgeous crests up, they are either happy, excited, scared, or angry. It is another way to communicate their emotions.

My Angel loved head rubs, so she was a very happy Hawkhead in this picture. <3

I feel a little bad about the theme I chose, it seem I made it a bit too difficult (though I really thought it wouldn't be).

 

We are at 5 entries at the moment, I'm going to leave this open for one more day hoping for some more.
