Couldn't see one of these any where so I decided to make one, my Question.

 

Whats your Fave Anime OST (Original Sound Track)? Including Opening Themes

Me? I have a lot.

"Butter-Fly", Digimon Adventure's opening has been my long-standing favorite even now, but my current favorite is Ao no Exorcist's 1st opening, "Core Pride". I love it! <3

 

Other favorites:

-Vampire Knight, 1st Opening: Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi

-Kuroshitsuji, 1st Opening: Monokuro no Kiss

-Digimon Xros Wars, 1st Opening: Never Give Up

-Cardfight Vanguard, 2nd Opening (err... forgot the name atm lawlz.)

-All the opening songs of Sket Dance. <3

 

Character Songs:

-Shugo Chara, Utau Hoshino's Song: Meikyuu Butterfly

-Maid-sama!, Usui Takumi's Song: Promise

-Digimon Frontier, Kouichi Kimura's Song: Oreta Tsubasa De

 

 

And generally, I like all the albums/collections that belong to both seasons of Kuroshitsuji. It's probably the only anime where practically all OSTs are my favorites. I wish I could buy the albums, but I can't buy over the internet and I doubt they sell in my area.

Ouch< That's such a difficult question... if I had to pick one it'd probably be the opening to Umineko no Naku Koro ni! It's absolutely beautiful.

And I also love kuroshitsuji!

But I too have a lot of faves. Mostly dramatic and kinda gothic ones..

For example:

Black Cat- The first opening. (Never watched the anime.)

Spice and Wolf- Love the Opening and Closing Songs

Bleach- I love the openings to Bleach.

Fairy Tail- The first opening.

Wolf's Rain Opening!

... I should probably stop there but I have a ton more if anyone wants suggestions.

When it comes to OSTs, it is the game ones like those from Final Fantasy that I listen to for most part with the occasional movie OSTs but when it comes to anime, it is mostly those by Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura :3

My favourite opening theme would be

 

Abingdon Boys School-Howling (the Darker Than Black opening theme).

 

As for overall O.S.T. I´d say either Cowboy Bebop; Naruto Shippuuden also has an amazing O.S.T. (with all the traditional instruments such as the shamisen, the koto or the shakuhachi).

I also love the whole soundtrack from Dragonball Z, but not the US version. Thank god the German version has the original soundtrack from Japan. I adore the Genkidama theme!

 

The soundtrack from "Guardian of the Spirit" is also very beautiful. My favorite song is "Nâji no Uta".

 

I also love every soundtrack from Hayao Miyazaki films.

Or, likely anything sung by Mamoru Miyano or Taniyama Kishou..

Hishoku no Sora from the epic Shakugan no Shana, although i absolutely loathe season three.

I agree that Yondaime is one epic OST. But I must admit that

gets the spot as my favorite OST.

 

My favorite openings are these two:

Darker than black (Howling)

11eyes (Arrival of tears)

 

And then I have two favorite endings as well, and they are:

Death note (Zetsubou Billy)

 

Though, I like opening 6 from Bleach really much and most openings from Naruto as well... Still, none of them compares to those I mentioned above.

This song is very old but one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard(at least in a movie)

It's so sad though, considering the ending of the story.
