There are two types of vines which hatch from the same egg. Some are 'normal' and are classified as uncommon, and some are 'alt' and classify as rare

 

Playing the alt lottery is when you hatch a vine (or a black egg, which the same thing happens too) If it has alted, then you keep it, if it hasn't, you abandon it to the AP. The vines you keep on picking up are rejected normal vines which didn't alt

That one is part of a lineage project... I can't for the life of me remember what its called, but I'm pretty sure its on the wiki. If you want a mate for it, you could try looking there

Not really asking why i got the VINES, more asking how i now have FOUR AP abandon hatchies(two have grown but were hatchies when picked up).

i'm lucky, there were 90 people in the AP when i got her

Whoever bred these two eggs, OMG thank you! i sent a PM to a person wanting an egg from a Sunsong and a Gold, whatever breeder just bred these, is my new best friend. i don't want to trade!

maybe if they gender differently, i can have my very own breeding pair.

Sadly, i don't have any pinks On the BSA list, everyone gets them before i can!
