I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm very picky, and that's a bad thing. I don't have as much fun as people who can look at a thing and see the glory instead of the flaws. It's true of art, it's true of food, and it's true of dragcave lineages. And reading through this thread, it's nice to know that I'm not in the norm... and that even if I can't appreciate a lot of things for myself, other people do appreciate them, and there's still a lot of good in the world, just from that.

Maybe a bad thing for you, good for the rest of us. Think how much joy you have spread.

I wish I could thank whoever dropped this thuwed with hollies.

I have found some wonderful stuff on there as well. As Aryn said, it is nice to know that people appreciate so many different things. I hope someday to see someone post a "hey look at this awesome dragon I found!" and see that I bred it. ^^

Well the cave was spitting out a whole lot of nothing so I refreshed in the AP for a little bit and caught my first tinsel fail! <3 Pretty staircase! Now I just need a tinsel myself.

what is today? the national holiday "Tindel Breeding day"?

I'm not complaining mind you, it's just odd. I've seen a few DOZEN tinsels of various colors. I even managed to snag an Epic Tinsel!

Edit: Of course I say that and I snag a brozen Tinsel from Galletian Victory and Galletian Star line...Such a pretty line!

Hahaha, good job on catching that! I just had to breed its parents when I was locked... I forgot to check the fogged egg on my scroll as an egg. D'oh! I was probably going to give it away anyways, please give it a good name if you can! ^^

I will do my best and I will look after the egg. My first tinsel! <3 I'll see if I can't grow my pinks face with different genders so I can influence the egg...Try to continue the lines for you and to gift to other people. =3

I don't usually keep lineaged AP catches aside from holidays, but when I do, their lines are difficult for me to find mates for.

This one was and still is one of my best AP catches; http://dragcave.net/lineage/X35v. Alt Sweetlings look so lovely with Magi dragons. I also caught this one on the same day; http://dragcave.net/lineage/hcTK, while not as impressive, judging by naming scheme, they were both bred from the same scroll.

Grats on the pretty tinselkin! ^^ The Penk (pink) tinsel is the spriter's alt. You'll also find spriter's alts for some of the Holiday dragons, too, where they're differently colored. Very pretty.

I totally agree with you there! Awesome finds, some of the lineages here are gorgeous! Wanted to share my own recent lucky click off the AP. My jaw dropped when I snagged this black-striped beauty. Thanks so much to the breeder who dropped it!

In case you see this post, this little one will fit in beautifully with my lineage project, and I'll name it appropriately!

I have a couple of nice reds I got of the AP. I caught this beauty not too long ago, which makes a wonderful partner for my second gen gold.

Back when I first joined the site, I only cared about breed, not lineage, and usually picked up my eggs from the AP. Once I started realizing that the lineage can make a nice dragon so much better, I was going through the dragons I already had, and discovered one of the first reds I had found was 4th even gen PB. Like so.

Just found this beauty on the AP. Obviously the person abandoned it because it was a deep sea dragon and not an ice dragon, but the lineage is still so pretty!

I didn't find him on the AP, I dumped him on the AP. But.... Just look at how many different breeds he has in his pedigree! I count 17(20 if you count alt-black and the different seasonals).

Lol I sent a bunch of low-gen tinsels to the AP this morning to spread the love.
