In another thread, someone lamented not being able to catch Wrapping Wings. I had a few slots open and took a chance, and nabbed this beauty and its sibling.

 

...and then discovered that the person I was going to offer them to is egg-locked, with some nifty things I can't imagine they'd want to abandon. Oh well.

2nd gen Yulebuck from Gold. I wasn't going to keep any more eggs that weren't either holllies or 2nd gens from holiday x holiday, and then I saw the names of this one's parents. I am incapable of tossing back eggs with Wheel of Time names in the lineage. Thank you, breeder!

I caught this http://dragcave.net/lineage/zsa5B. I never thought of this cross. Lucky for me I had not bred my remaining CB Yulebuck. I just did, and by next year the checkerboard WILL continue (hopefully the nebula pairing will work and it will be red.)

Thanks a lot to the person who bred the 2nd gen Yulebuck x Silver that I caught yesterday. Now I can take that lineage to a 4th gen Also, not Christmas related, but thanks to the breeder of this Water that I accidentaly clicked on the AP. I have a Silver with the same lineage waiting for a mate, so it's perfect.

I just caught this Winter Magi in the AP. Pretty, but not too unusual...until I noticed that the father's name looked familiar. Turns out, I have another dragon, a GW, from the same parents, caught all the way back in March 2012, whose lineage I specifically matched to make 3rd gen checker babies this year. Small world we raise out dragons in, isn't it?

We weren't supposed to be able to breed the 2nd gen wrapping wings. Apparently it's a glitch specifically related to the wrapping wings only, like the fact the Wrapping Wings never appeared on the Breed limit page. All other Christmas dragons which grew up this year, can't breed now.
