Posted November 3, 2011 Also caught this tinselfail with an awesome code in the AP while the halloween egg boom was going on. I was going for pumpkins and marrows but I couldn't resist XP I checked the code before seeing the lineage, so I thought it was notable because it sounded like Nazi. I got both these Deep Seas from the AP, and I'm currently making mates for them. Posted November 12, 2011 I normally just lurk on the threads but I have to post some of my finds. I've been trying hard to get some pinks since they seem impossible to get now and I got two today. This one is a 2nd gen pinkxold pink which made me squee to get since I had missed three different pinks before hand. My second pink(that I caught first) is this one...A 14th gen of a pure pink staircase. I was shocked to get this one myself and I do hope I get the right gender to continue on the line from my own side. One last one, I snagged this one today and this baby comes from two huge staircases....Purple on one side, Magi on the other...I fell in love with this one. The lines are made of win. All three of these eggs don't have any egg siblings, I checked...I'm glad I got them though. <3 Share this post Link to post

Not a clue how to continue it but I'll figure out something. Maybe try to start a purple/magi staircase. Well see. A shame I can't quite continue it in the exact same sort of pattern, but I fully intend to do it justice. I just need A Plan [TM]! Posted November 13, 2011 *chuckles* I came in here expecting to be amused and wondering if any of the abandons were mine. Instead, I found something a bit heartwarming. Let me explain: At my level of gameplay in dragcave, with how long I have been playing, how active I am in trading, how many of my own scroll goals I have met, I've had the luxury to get pretty picky with my dragons. I don't want trios, or tan ridgewings, or cheeses. I don't even want metallics-- not even CB metallics-- unless I have someone in mind to trade them too. So when it comes to things like tinsels, I only go for staircase. Low-gen. Two-breed only. I'm even picky about the ancestor, tombstones, and what the other breed is. I turn down a lot of trades, I throw away my misbreeds without another look, and I get silently irritated by the number of "ugly" tinsels "clogging" the trading threads and the trading channel of the IRC. But sometimes I forget that not everyone in the game is me. In fact, most players in the game are people I've never met and never will. And my chucked tinsels? My misbred metallics and trios and holidays? All those tinsels people are offering out there that I sit behind my computer screen and scorn? All those people I'll never meet think they're great. Be it an arrowhead, or a long pattern, or something that wasn't bred with any purpose in mind but still just looks kinda cool in the end, people do like them. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm very picky, and that's a bad thing. I don't have as much fun as people who can look at a thing and see the glory instead of the flaws. It's true of art, it's true of food, and it's true of dragcave lineages. And reading through this thread, it's nice to know that I'm not in the norm... and that even if I can't appreciate a lot of things for myself, other people do appreciate them, and there's still a lot of good in the world, just from that.
