I've had a couple z'pairs out of over 300 produce 3 z'eggs, but the majority of my z'pairs have never produced one. An handful pop a z on the first try. It's all random. Random and I both had bad breeding this past week, so hopefully we will fare better next week. I have a couple of pairs of z parents that have never produced a z baby in spite of being bred faithfully for years! But, as Random mentioned, sometimes you get a Z on the first try.
