North Pack Characters.

Username: Dr. Paine

Character Name: Char

Gender: Female

Age: Six years.

Personality: Char is a jovial wolf, often found cracking jokes with the Epsilons in her spare time or showing a pup something interesting. She's often found talking at length with her Beta, the Elders, or older Gammas before suggesting or doing much of anything. This has led to some doubt over her ability to command the pack, and only further fuels her own insecurities. (for the most part, her personality will show as we play xd.png Sorry.)

History: Her parents were a pair of Gamma hunters, Coal and Rael. The year of Char's birth had been quite good, and when mating season came around, Gammas were given permission to breed.

It was Rael's first litter, that and a long-lingering winter contributed to her giving birth prematurely to two female pups. Both were very small and within a week, one had died. Coal was inconsolable, becoming lethargic and distant from the entire pack. including his mate and surviving daughter. Rael, though equally devastated, carried on as best as she could - she had lost one, but she knew it gave the other a larger chance of survival.

Char didn't grow very fast during her first year, but she had as much energy as any pup. As the spring rolled around, she was exploring the nursery den (between her size and the fate of her sister, Rael and Coal kept a very close watch on Char) as much as possible, and trying to cheer up her father, who had started to show some signs of returning to his old self.

Perhaps it was due to the fact that she was often kept in the nursery that Char began to bond with Jin, an orphaned pup around her age. She often grew bored with his constant questioning of others, though she did rather enjoy pestering him about his powers and how they worked. She also found his experience with an odd stone interesting, even though she only knew a little of the story.

As the year passed, Char's growth began to pick up and by her first birthday, she was as large as (if not larger than) most of the other yearlings. It was around then that she began training as a hunter and she took well to the task. That fall, when she was going out on more hunts, Char first discovered her power.

It had been noted by her mother and father that Char's little licks and nips often left a bit of a chill, but they didn't concern themselves with it. Char herself had never brought it up to anyone (except maybe once or twice to Jin), though many members of the pack noted that she was rarely seen grooming herself. The evening of the hunt however, made it clear to everyone. Char had managed to catch a fair-sized rabbit, and proudly carried it back to camp. When it came time to drop it with the rest of the prey, it wouldn't leave her mouth!

It took two other wolves to pull the rabbit from her mouth, and even then, they only managed to get about half of it. Char eventually managed to dislodge the rest, finding that the fur and meat had frozen solid to her tongue and teeth. Similar things happened whenever she hunted from then on, prey coming back either quite cold or icy where she had held it.

---------

The years passed, and while Char could never control her freezing bite, she did discover another ability she could control. She used these as best as she could, and for the next five years, she rose up to become a Gamma hunter. She accepted the union of the North and South packs and quite enjoyed the company of the Southern hunters.

Just after her sixth birthday, the Alpha male of the Northern pack was killed while on a hunting trip, having fallen from a rather slippery rock ledge. His mate refused to take a new mate, and instead decreed that those who wanted the spot and were of age, fight for it. Char jumped into the fray without hesitation, fighting with all her might. One after another, wolves dropped out, until Char stood victorious over the last opponent. She was exhausted, still bleeding from some wounds, but she had won the right to be the new Alpha.

The first thing Char did, before going off to clean herself up, was to appoint Jin as her Beta. With his powers, and their history, she figured he would be a good consult and be good in case someone tried to lie to her.

She has been leading the Northern Pack for about two months now, and has yet to choose a mate.

Appearance: Large, not as lean as most of her packmates. Usually has a poorly groomed look about her. Her feet, tailtip, and ears are charcoal black, while the rest of her body is various shades of gray. Eyes are light gold. Char still has many scars from her fight to lead the pack, the most prominent of which being three slashes over her muzzle.

Powers: Ice.

Abilities.

Frostbite: Char's first ability is one that is always 'on', so to speak. Her bite is bitterly cold, occasionally causing prey to ice over where she holds it. Her tongue is similarly cold, and can cause some discomfort if she tries to groom another wolf, or even herself,

Winter's teeth. And claws... Related to the first ability. If Char is near a sufficient source of water, or it's winter and she can get some icicles or a mouthful of snow, Char is capable for forming large fangs of ice. As she's grown, she has learned to apply this to her claws. These do not last long, if at all, during the warmer months, and are prone to breaking.

Ice Queen: Similar to her second ability, but only usable when the weather is cold. At the cost of using either of her other abilities for as long as she has used this ability, plus however long it takes to dissipate the heat, Char can steal warmth from other creatures, plants or water, and cause them to start to freeze. In the case of water, she has learned to shape it as it freezes, creating anything from simple, amusing ice sculptures to deadly forests of ice spikes and slivers that could severely injure another wolf.

Overall drawbacks: While Char is somewhat more tolerant of cold than most, she is far from immune to freezing or frostbite. Grooming must be done carefully, and she has to remember not to nip anyone by accident, as she'd probably leave that patch of skin badly frostbitten. Also, while not a real ability or drawback, it stands to mention that Char's breath is often visible, even during the summer.

Pack: North

Rank and Position: Alpha female.

Other: Does have siblings- other players are welcome to have Rael and Coal as parents to their characters smile.gif (Their children would range from 1-4.)

Username: Rakashua

Character Name: JinJekkai (Called Jin for short “Jin Jin” when he was a pup)

Gender: Male

Age: 6 years

Personality: Jin is a philosopher at heart, he loves conversation and questions, teaching and learning. He is kind hearted and gentle with a soft spot for pups. Generally he tends to be logical and serious when it comes to matters of the pack and life, but around the pups he becomes much more emotional and unreserved.

History: Jinjekkai was born to Shalla and Jekkitsu, Shalla having been a Beta previously in the pack. Both his parents were killed in a cave-in when he was still just a pup. It caused him to face some of the harsher realities of life at a young age, prompting him to develop into a thoughtful and deep-thinking / big-picture type of personality. He spent much of his youth pestering the Betas and elders of the pack with questions about everything and anything relating to life and living.

He was born blind, or so it was thought, the truth of the matter was that he could see in a different manner than others, though his eyes appeared to be clouded and white. Because of his abilities he had a very hard time at first, learning to perform simple tasks such as walking around without running into something… (see the powers section for more of an explanation). Instead of being discouraged by his handicap, he strove to train very very hard to learn to use his abilities to benefit the pack and to be able to control them so that he wouldn’t be a burden on anyone. From the time his parents died when he was six months old, to his first birthday, he required a nursery wolf to be with at all times so that he didn’t end up hurting himself due to his odd eyesight. By the age of one he could control his power far better and now at the age of four, you could hardly tell he has any trouble at all or that he’s even different save for the color of his eyes.

Perhaps he would have had a better control of his abilities if he had not stumbled on a magical stone as a pup. But being very young, and curious as to why the rock looked different from everything else (see power for a better explanation), he touched it and carried it home with him as a five month old. Not knowing the significance of the stone, he merely kept it in a pile of other curious object’s he’d found, feathers, bits of fur, and so forth. Over the period of two weeks his vision began to get worse and worse until he couldn’t hardly walk around without running into something. His parents were worried about why his power was apparently changing, that was when his magic stone was discovered and removed from his presence. No longer sleeping with the rock, his vision stopped getting worse, but the “damage” was already done and his parents feared that he may truly be blinded in some sense of the word.

Being an orphan he spent a lot of time in the nursery… actually he virtually lived there. It was there that he met his best friends, Char, and Xylia. They were both very different from him but he got along with them very well. Char liked hanging out with him and pestering the adults with questions, but it didn’t last long, always ending with her becoming bored and them ending up in a wrestling match between the two pups, Char always won. He liked her a lot, she never teased him for his eye trouble, or the fact that he couldn’t quite walk in a straight line, even though she never really understood why he did what he did.

Then there was Xylia, she was always being teased by the other pups, and in general they avoided her. Because of this Jin felt oddly a kindred spirit with her. He too was constantly being laughed at for running into things, not being able to walk straight, and the fact that he truly could see almost nothing. He met her one day, crying because the others had all run away from her during a game of hide and seek. Well it wouldn’t be so accurate to say he found her as ran into her… literally. Being the one to talk a lot about things he’d heard adults say, and having a different perspective from most other pups, he talked with her and in a pup-like way, let her know that she was beautiful the way she was. They ended up sharing their stories with one another, and from that time in, they spent most of their free time together, or the two of them and Char. They made a paw-promise with one another, Jin would never run away from or make fun of her for her wings, if she wouldn’t ever laugh when he ran into something or fell sideways. She even promised to guide him around, that way she always had someone to play with and so did he, and he didn’t get headaches from hitting his head on things so often.

As he grew up, he remained close to his friend Char, but him and Xylia had become inseparable. As pups Jin had relied on her to find his way around, now, as he was able to do so more and more on his own they were able to enjoy doing other things together. It was because of her that he began training as a warrior. He was especially large and strong for his age, and agile as well, but because of his trouble seeing he was believed to be completely inept when it came to combat. But Xylia was always there to encourage him, she herself excelled in the area. They shared a certain respect for life as well and when she would go out on her more advanced training, Jin would spend his time with the young pups, playing with them and pup-sitting for the young mothers.

Jin’s past gave him a soft spot for other pups, especially those that had lost a parent or both parents. His love for them and for learning drove him to seek the position of Beta in the pack as his mother before him had been, and, by mating, his father as well. He is in his prime and perhaps a bit young for the task, but his rough childhood caused him to grow up and mature at a young age, far ahead of his peers in understanding and wisdom beyond his years.

Two and a half months ago, Char won herself the position of alpha in the Northern pack through a show of strength. She chose him for the rank of beta immediately afterwards. That same day, when announcing the news to Xylia, and having asked Char’s permission, he proposed to her and she agreed to become his mate, and taking on the rank of beta as a consequence. Over the years he had mostly perfected his abilities and that first night he shared his soul with her through his ability and the two of them spent the night in a long travel through each other’s pasts, and subsequently laughing or crying or both as every event and every desire came to light between them. Even up to present day, Jinjekkai still acts like a lovesick puppy whenever she is around.

Appearance: (Images must be linked.)

Powers:

Eyes of the Soul: Jin’s power has to do with his eyesight. He does not see the world in the “color” spectrum of the light scale, instead he sees “ghosts” as he describes it, of everything that is. His world is not colorful but nor is it black and white. It’s mostly black and white and grey, outlines and shapes and surfaces, all that appear to flow on the surface like water, not constant or solid. He sees a world of lights and shadows, where objects appear as they do in our world, but in mists and flowing light, not constant and solid as everyone else sees things, but pulsing with energy and white light. Everything that is alive appears to Jin as filled with light of various colors, plants have white outlines with black centers, other wolves appear as shimmering blue specters though each one is unique, other living creatures appear in various shades of yellow and orange. Magical objects appear in any number and shade of color, pulsing though, not constant, which is why he tends to find the stones.

Unfortunately Jin has no depth perception, not in the way that you and I could imagine it anyways. He sees everything around him in a near perfect 360* arc. Initially as a pup he was unable to control this and therefore hardly ever could tell what was right in front verses something that was behind him or to the side of him, everything merely appeared as a jumble of light and color. He’s achieved a high level of master with this now, however, and has gotten used to “seeing” everything around him at once. This sphere of perception extends for about one hundred meters almost like a sonar picture of everything in all directions. He has no line of sight, he doesn’t just see until his vision hits an object and then can’t see on the other side of it like you or I. Rather he simply sees nothing beyond 100meters, but everything within that range he can see from all directions at once. He can see a tree from every angle, the fact that he’s on this side of it and someone else is on the other side doesn’t prevent him from seeing them as it would if he saw things via line of sight. You can imagine how impossible this would seem at first to understand. You can imagine how hard it would be to figure into all of that where you yourself are and in what direction you’re moving, because you of course can’t merely move through objects, you are actually on one side of the tree and must walk around it to get to the other person… even though it doesn’t appear to be that way to you.

Jin is capable of extending his perception in a specific direction. The further the distance he “sees” the narrower the cone of perception that he can use becomes. (example: 500meters = a 90* arc from the direction he is facing (in this case he is limited by line of sight in some fasion) 1kilometer = 45* arc of vision and so forth.) The furthest he can extend his vision is 2miles, viewing everything in a 10* arc by that point.

Jin calls his ability “ghosting” because what he sees seems to him to be a ghost of what is really there. When he looks at something living he sees not its physical matter that makes it what it is, but rather the life energy that runs through it. Things like stones that have no energy whatsoever (unless they are magical) are not invisible to him, but instead are very dark and black with grey outlines.

When he is looking at a wolf his sight is also different than if he were looking at some other living creature. Wolves have a distinct energy to them, especially their heads and faces, each has a unique signature and wolves in general are unique from other living creatures in that they give off additional colors to their usual blue hue depending on how they are feeling to some extent as certain colors correspond to certain emotions. It’s not an exact science, but Jin always sees an impression of how that wolf is feeling at the time as long as the emotion is strong enough. Wolves also pulse each time their heart beats, as do all creatures in Jin’s vision.

Alright now that the power has been described, here are the specific abilities:

Ghosting 1: Extension

This is Jin’s over all ability to see things from every angle all at once in a 360* bubble around him. This bubble only changes if he concentrates on extending his vision in a certain direction, in which case he loses his 360* vision and his bubble of perception becomes a cone that’s angle of vision is inversely proportional to the distance at which he is trying to use it. IE: further distance = smaller cone. He cannot move forwards or side to side or backwards while doing this if he wants to be able to comprehend anything he’s seeing. He can “scan” slowly with his head, turning from side to side in order to see move with his limited cone, but the speed at which he can do this is also inversely proportional to the length of the extension. His max is 2 miles at which he has a simple 10* cone and must scan extremely slowly. Being able to see things from all directions, he can also see inside closed objects as well, though if there is nothing “living” (or magical) inside something like a collapsed cave, it will appear just as dark and hard to tell what’s actually in it.

Drawback: The further he looks the longer it takes him to process everything he sees at once. He is also prone to migraine type headaches from using this ability.

Uses: The most common use of this is in “patrolling” the area around the camp and searching for things such as other wolves, game to hunt, magical stones, and so forth.

Ghosting 2: Soul Vision

Another ability that is also simply an attribute of Jin’s sight is the fact that wolves appear different to him than other creatures. Wolves give off a plethora of colors that indicate how they are feeling emotionally. Deer and prey also do this, but they typically have only two emotions, fear, and hunger. Wolves also pulse, like other creatures, with the beating of their hearts, watching this carefully has allowed Jin to learn to tell if someone is lying to him, though it’s not perfect and there have been exceptions, it’s correct most of the time because of the sudden change in heart-rate that corresponds with telling a lie. Wolves also look different with age, young pups appear bright and shiny and full of life and energy, where as elders and those close to death appear duller and dimmer in his eyes.

Drawbacks: Jin is cut off from experiencing most of the beauty of the world, he doesn’t see the incredible detail and texture of the objects that he “sees” instead they appear a blend of various brightness of whatever color is normally attributed to that object. Things don’t appear in great detail to him. He is also, strangely, completely blind to water, it doesn’t show up at all to him. Unfortunately he is most often limited to 100meters in every direction and anything beyond that is completely void to him unless he’s extending his range and while doing so he’s unable to move if he wants to be able to process what he’s seeing.

Uses: He can recognize wolves by their distinct life aura and can therefore recognize them from any distance. He can also tell if the wolf is someone that has never entered his vision before, a loner for example or a member of another pack. He has a photographic memory for each wolf’s aura that he has encountered, and while he can’t always remember names, he knows if he’s seen you before.

Ghosting 3: Touching the Soul

His eyes were not the only things affected by his ability. He has the ability to touch another wolf with his own life aura, either in a passive way, allowing them to share his vision for a moment, processed by his mind so that they can understand it. Or in an active way. When he actively engages his aura and another wolf’s something he can do with physical contact or by very close proximity (1-2 meters distant). This functions almost like hitting a nerve. When his aura is actively engaged with another creature, wolf or other living animal, neither of them have the ability to move and appear to be frozen in place. This also happens to a small extent when he passively shares his aura with someone else. When he actively fuses his aura with another wolf, the two of them share emotions, feel what the other is feeling, and can see into one another’s essence, seeing each other’s goals and hopes and fears, loves and hates. It’s a very intimate and personal type of contact. Something that Jin reserves only for absolute emergencies and would never do without permission unless the alpha were to order him to do so. This ability he keeps secret from everyone but those closest to him and of course the alpha. He doesn’t want others to think he’s breaking into their personal lives or that he’s any more strange than he already is thought of as. When he passively connects with another wolf to allow them to see with his vision for a short period of time, the transfer of emotions is only surface related, nothing personal is shared, but each will know how the other is feeling at the surface.

Drawbacks: the contact only lasts as long as Jin maintains it; the transfer of emotion is not something that either Jin or the other wolf can control it merely happens. When he does this actively he learns as much about the other wolf as they learn from him, however, he is prepared for what happens, they are not, and therefore he will understand more of it. He must concentrate very hard in order not to have this happen every time he touches another wolf or creature. Because of the emotional transfer he is unable to hunt. He tried it once and was paralyzed for hours when he killed a deer, connecting for that split second with its mind his body was filled with the fear that the deer was experiencing, and the pain, and the shock of it paralyzed him for several hours in an unconscious state.

Uses: He uses the passive ability to share his findings (vision) with the Alpha or any other wolf that he needs to inform of what he’s found. He uses the active ability only with his mate (someone can apply for this) as a form of intimacy between the two. But when it’s a matter of life or death, or, on very very rare occasions and with a direct order/threat from the alpha, he will use it on another wolf in order to determine what their intentions are. He is VERY against this however and must be virtually forced to do so.

Pack: North Pack (Later Stone Researchers)

Rank and Position: Beta

Other: Mated to Xylia for around 70 days now.

Username: LoveLost (LL)

Character Name: Xylia

Gender: female

Age: 6 years

Personality: Xylia is a kind motherly type who is not willing to allow disobedience go without being mentioned. She means it in all kindness, however most take it as her being overbearing. Xylia is also someone who is sweet, extremely caring and willing to sacrifice her time and life for someone that she cares about and for her pack. Xylia can also tend to be rather forgetful at times but in a cute and adorable way. Despite this forgetfulness, she does remember how to fight and can be rather humble about that. She is a perfect fit for a Beta because she is so caring and can also be rather strict when push comes to shove, or someone irritates her enough.

History:

Xylia was born to elderly parents who were near their last leg when they were surprised by the birth of a winged little wolf. Both were powered themselves with a control of minds and a control of wind itself. But despite their surprise, they raised their little girl to the best of their ability and tried to teach her to use her wings, but weren’t very successful since she was the first in a rather long time.

The young wolf had several oddities to her personality that just added to her sticking out like a sore thumb against the other pups. It was always hard for her to make friends and for reasons that developed her personality into being carried over to what she is today. When she was younger, Xylia always wanted to play with the others, but would almost always forget the rules of whatever game there was for them to play and even forgot their names most of the time. For this reason, they would always avoid her and even run away from her. It was one of these times that she had had enough and actually attacked the other pups while crying her heart out to them.

When her parents found out, both were very saddened and told her that she couldn’t do something like that.

Xylia also grew up with the current Alpha, Char. She wasn’t as close as she was to Jin because she wasn’t as intelligent in the way of questioning like they were, however she was smart in other ways. But no matter their differences, the three of them always played together and when Char went off to ask more questions, Xylia stayed with Jin. The three of them grew up from puppyhood together and Jin was always her support and she was the same to him.

On one particular day of hardship and being rejected, and after another attack on their abusive friends, Jin actually ran into Xylia as he was looking for her. She wasn’t surprised at all and smelled that he was near. Over the next few minutes, Jin, who had an advanced understanding of the ways of the adults, explained to her that she was wonderful and beautiful just the way she was which meant the world to her. That day, they made a paw-promise to each other; Jin wouldn’t laugh at her if he bumped into something or fell over, and he wouldn’t laugh at her because of her wings. But Xylia also made a promise to him larger than that, she would always guide him around if he was ever disoriented.

Now back to the fight that Xylia was in. Most of the pups didn’t even have teeth marks on them, only spikes in their bodies. Her parents asked her what that was from and she told them that it was from her own wings. This was when her parents knew that she was to be a fighter wolf. Xylia didn’t like the idea of fighting all that much, but when her pack was attacked by a bear and they needed help, Xylia was there with her hackles raised, a growl in her throat and teeth clamped onto the bear like the other wolves and her wings stabbed into his stomach while he was distracted by the other wolves. When all was said and done, she was cut like the others, but she was assigned to be a fighter.

When she wasn’t training with the fighters, Xylia almost always helped Jin train to be a fighter as well. He was a strong wolf and agile for his strength and his ability was very valuable to the team of fighters especially since he could see a 360* view of everything. Xylia hardly left his side when they fought together, making them even more inseparable as he gained his independence.

Through the years, Xylia wondered why she had such a problem but her parents knew that she had anger issues that were odd for the young girl especially one who was so sweet. Xylia didn’t see many problems with it and continued on with guarding the hunters and training with the fighters. She grew stronger and stronger and it soon became that she was able to control her anger towards other wolves and also developed her sweeter side as well.

As an example of her sweeter side, Xylia actually went with the hunters one day and watched as they killed a few smaller animals but came upon one that wasn’t dead yet. She sat down in front of the nearly dead rabbit and apologized as she stabbed a bone spike into his heart. After doing so, she actually howled mournfully at his death even though she realized that they all had to eat. Later that day, her parents asked her why she was sad at the death of a rabbit and she merely replied, “Because he was a being as well.”

After that, Xylia became known as the caring fighter. Whenever new pups were born, she would immediately help the mothers and ignore her summons to be a fighter especially if the mother had a large litter. Xylia would watch them and get her if they needed feeding. If there were sick wolves, she would work to get them better and even end up having to sleep to get herself better. But when it came to helping others, Xylia was there taking care of them….but when it came to fighting, she would kill without a second opinion.

By the time that she was three years old, Xylia had full control over her emotional struggles as well as her abilities allowing her to help her pack in whatever way she wanted and could, however, that was also the same year that her parents died. She ran away from the pack for a few days mourning in her own time and knew that at one point or another, Jin would find her. He did and they both talked for a while and he convinced her to come back to the camp. She did so sadly but knew that she had to respect her parent’s bodies. Later on that week, the parent’s were taken care of and she released her sadness so that she would be able to find joy later in her life.

A few months ago in the current time, Char, Xylia’s childhood friend, earned herself a place as the Alpha of the North Pack. She was always brilliant and smart with strength that was probably as much as Jin’s. She was a larger female and was also very cunning so Xylia thought that the place was good for her because it employed her abilities well. Xylia was there the day of the fight, but was sent on a patrol of their pack territories to make sure that everything was alright with the borders at the appearance of a new Alpha.

While she was gone, Char chose Jin to be the Beta for her but Xylia did not know this until he ran up to her one day while she was on a cliff checking the scents in the winds. Jin could hardly contain himself as he told her what had happened and before Xylia could even tell him how excited she was, he asked her to be his mate. Of course, Xylia said yes to the one that had always been there for her and found herself adoring this new part of life.

That same night, underneath the stars and listening to the sounds of the wild around them, the two wolves shared their souls to each other and traveled through the timelines of their lives with each other because of Jin’s ability. Xylia felt very privileged and lucky to have such a wolf in her life and as her mate. Because of this, Xylia always acts like a lovesick little pup whenever he talks to her, or even looks at her which makes it hard at meetings between the two of them and Char because she usually ends up laughing, which then causes everyone else to laugh.

Appearance: http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=black%20wo...set=24#/d2nm9ns

Xylia is a wolf that is as dark as night itself. She uses this to her advantage and hunts at night most of the time because she can hardly been seen by any animal. To contrast her fur, Xylia also has bright golden eyes almost to the point of them being unnaturally golden for they hold no trace of browns or oranges like most other wolf eyes do. Xylia isn’t a very large wolf and tends to be on the small side which allows most to make a false assumption that she is weak. She is not weak, per say, but rather agile. She also has a white star in the middle of her forehead (not shown).

Powers: Xylia was born with a pair of rather large wings that are larger than her body allowing her to carry another wolf if the need arises. Her powers are rather simple, however her wings aren’t just used for flight. She also uses them if she ever needs to fight or hunt because of the way that her abilities have been developed.

1. Shield

Xylia’s wings have the ability to shield her whole body because of their length and size. When this ability is activated, her wings harden, and “fluff” up to slow the impact of any incoming projectile or the teeth of another wolf. This helps her wings from being injured as well as her body. She can also use this ability at night or in the mountains as a form of camouflage to keep people from seeing.

Drawback: It takes a few minutes for the shield to dissipate making it impossible for her to fly until it is gone. If she can’t take off and has to fight one on one, she could be seriously injured.

2. Spikes

Xylia’s wings also produce bone spikes that can be aimed at any enemy quickly. This ability also allows her to produce several spikes in her wings and fire them all around her. However this ability is also very harmful to any allies that are around her since she cannot aim this ability. When in close quarters, Xylia can grow the spikes and keep them in her wings to use them to attack an enemy or prevent an enemy from getting at her while her shield is fading away.

Drawback: The glands that produce the bony growths and the fluid build up that allows them to fire at high, penetrable speeds, can also become blocked up. When this happens, it is really painful and takes a few hours to dissipate. This usually happens after high use and at this time, she is totally defenseless.

Along with flight, her wings also give her a sense of balance when they are either extended or folded along her body. As a flying wolf, her tail is slightly longer than most and her bones are also more porous making them easier to brake but they also withstand more of an impact when she is conscious. However, if falling from a high distance, it is more likely for her to break more bones because her muscles are lose instead of taut.

Personality: Ink seems to like influencing other wolves, although her rank of Epsilon gives her little power. She does like toying with the Omegas, but wishes she could have more power. She never wanted to be Alpha, though, as she thinks it will only be a burden. She would be quite happy with the rank of Beta. The rest will be RPed.

History:

Ink's parents were a pair of Northern scouts, Flint and Sky. They loved each other more than anything, and the year had been good to the Northern Pack, so they, along with all the other Gammas, were allowed to breed.

As spring came, Sky's pups were born. There were two of them, a pure white one and a dark black one, and they seemed normal enough, although their fur somehow seemed... different. The black one, which was named Ink, had fur that seemed to absorb light. The white one, a male named Flare, seemed to glow slightly. Nevertheless, the pups seemed normal enough.

It wasn't until the pups left the nursery and began to train apart from each other did things really start to change. Before, while they had been younger, the strangeness of Ink and Flare's pelts were almost went unnoticed. Now, however, Flare noticeably gave off light, and Ink darkened a small area around her.

As she got older, Ink began to avoid sunlight. She would hide in the nursery den, or only come out from the shade of a rock when a cloud covered the sun. When the other wolves asked her about this, she would simply reply, "It burns." Shadows around Ink were also acting strangely, to say the least. Sometimes other pups would be walking through the shadow under a boulder, and would suddenly stop as if they had run into a brick wall. Ink was always nearby, sitting innocently in the shade.

As the months went by, Ink began to focus her power over shadows. Now she could be seen 'flying' in shadowy patches. She wasn't truly flying; instead, she would leap into the air and form a solid shadow under her feet, then leap into the air again and create another shadow, dissolving the first, or running and creating shadows under her paws.

It was a rainy night, when something truly horrible happened. Flint, Ink and Flare's father, had been attacked by a grizzly bear. No one had been with him, but it was clear, from the tufts of fur in his claws and the grizzly bear blood splashed around the clearing where his body was found, that he had put up a good fight. His body was found, soaking wet and covered in slashes and bites, on the night of the full moon, by none other than Ink, who had run ahead of the rest of her scouting party. She and the rest of the scouting party dragged Flint's coal-black body back to camp, and she and her family mourned.

It was after Flint's death that Sky began to change. Normally, the cream she-wolf was calm and soothing, but now she was snappish and violent. Many wolves feared that she had gone permanently insane. Unfortunately, their fears were right. Something inside the she-wolf had broken that stormy night, and along with it all of her control.

One day, only two weeks after Flint's death, a small pup decided he wanted to play with someone. To everyone's horror, he crouched down onto the ground and began to stalk the sleeping Sky's tail. As he got near, he leaped onto the creamy tail that he decided was really a large cougar, and sunk his tiny teeth into it. Sky awoke with a start, and turned just in time to see the pups mother hurriedly carrying the pup away from the insane she-wolf.

That night, the pups mother awoke to find her worst nightmare- the bloody body of her pup. Standing over the pup, with an insane expression on her face and blood on her fangs, was Sky.

It happened immediately. The pup's mother leaped upon Sky with a strangled cry, awaking the other nursery wolves. They didn't have much difficulty figuring out what was wrong. Most of them joined the fight, and in a few seconds the body of Sky was lying beside the pup's, covered in bloody scratches.

Sky's death was greeted with more happiness then mourning. If she had died honorably and sane, the other wolves of the pack would have mourned her passing, but this was not the case now. Most of the wolves had wished death upon her since the moment she seemed a threat to the pups of the pack. Many had mourned for her after Flint's death, as they knew it was only a matter of time before she was killed. Ink was among the glad- she knew it was only a matter of time before her mother's death, and she hated the new, snappish wolf the her mother had become.

Appearance: Ink is as black as her name. Her entire coat seems to absorb light, leaving nothing to reflect back. She also radiates a small amount of darkness, but not enough to do any harm or good. Her eyes are a cold, ice-chip blue. She is very skinny, light and fast. She is very precise and accurate, waiting until the perfect moment to strike a quick, killing blow if it's prey she's fighting, or leap back quickly if she's fighting another wolf.

Powers: Shadow Manipulation

Solid Shadows: Ink can focus on existing shadows and turn them into a physical object. However, they aren't like normal objects. They aren't affected by gravity, and are impossible to break through normal means. They can be destroyed by making Ink lose concentration or by using some sort of power that affects physical objects, or by hitting them with some sort of light, as shadows are the absence of light.

In appearance, the solid shadows aren't much different from normal ones, though there are a few noticeable changes. They are still slightly transparent, but you can tell that they are solid- they are darker, and appear solid, like black glass. You can see through it, but you know that you can touch it. Unlike glass, however, light can't go through it or reflect off of it. Light weakens it, and makes it much more difficult for Ink to keep it solid, but it absorbs light, just like Ink's fur.

Living shadows: Ink also has the ability to move shadows in their physical and nonphysical forms at will. They can be moved quite easily, though solid shadows move slower. This is extremely useful, as Ink could use her shadows to grab an opponent's foot of use a shadow as a shield.

Hiding in a Shadow: For a short amount of time, (half an hour? Fifteen minutes?) Ink can become a shadow. Not truly- she is still a physical being, but she becomes nearly invisible, seen only as a darker part of the air, shaped like a wolf. She often uses this skill to eavesdrop, so some wolves will look carefully around them for any shadows before speaking, or talk in bright sunlight (See Drawbacks). This also makes her an excellent scout and hunter, as she can easily sneak up on prey or other wolves without being caught.

Drawbacks: Ink is weakened by light, be it sunlight or made by a wolf. *coughFlarecough* She can't stay in it very long, or her fur will start to smoke and her skin will get burnt. She hates being in sunlight for even for a few seconds, although she can stay in it for ten minutes with no ill effects, and prefers to stay in shadows. This can be hard, due to the north's flatness and lack of trees. She does manage, though.

Her shadows are difficult to keep in physical form when hit by shafts of sunlight, and will disappear almost instantly in direct sunlight. Once they are out of their physical form, they become just like normal shadows and fade in the light. This makes it difficult to keep a shadow where there is any light.

When she is a shadow, light is even worse for her. If she is pushed or walks into sunlight, unless it's just a small shaft, she will instantly shift into her normal form and come out with any fur that came into contact with the light burnt.

A side effect of her power is that about a foot around Ink, the area will darken slightly. This is purely visual, however, and Ink can't manipulate these shadows. They nearly disappear when Flare is within a 10-foot radius around Ink.

Rank and Position: Epsilon, Scout.

Username: dragcave:D

Character Name: Scorch

Gender: Male

Age: 6 years

Personality: He's a talkative, deep-thinking wolf. He often rambles on when he's thinking, confusing those around him. He loves having discussions with others although he is stubborn when it comes to his arguments. Scorch is gentle and fair; however, his temper flares up like fire. He loves joking around and having fun although he deals badly with being ignored or treated badly. He's also adventurous and curious, and used to get into a lot of trouble when he was younger.

History: Scorch's parents, Core and Shell, were part of the South Pack. They raised him there with his two sisters, Hazel and Grass. Hazel had beautiful wings while Grass had nothing extraordinary about her. Core would take Scorch away to some dirt and rock area to practice with his powers and Shell would take Hazel away to give her tips on flying. Grass would either follow and watch them or stay back with their family friend, Berry. At first, Grass was happy watching her siblings. Eventually, she drifted further and further apart from the rest of her family, treating them politely as though they were visiting wolves and not family.

Her parents noticed this change and tried to convince her to come back to them. They did it in discreet ways; grooming her to perfection, asking more questions than necessary, treating her as gently as possible, giving her special privileges and letting her choose the warmest or coolest spots to sleep, depending on the weather.

Although Grass didn't ignore her parents, she still didn't treat them like family. She got slightly less distant but not by much. Her mind was still pounding with jealousy. Every night, she wondered what would be different if she was special too...

Scorch was oblivious to this entire exchange. He went about regularly, trying his best and enjoying the days. He played with Grass and Hazel whenever he could, because, as he put it, "Our mom and dad are great, but they're so boorrrringgg!!!" Grass was only normal for these periods of time, when she was playing with her siblings, and her parents encouraged it; however, Berry always got in the way. Of her many excuses, her most common was that they were busy.

One day, Berry was talking to Grass while they were training. Her parents were, yet again, away with her siblings, and Grass was starting to feel lonely. Her feelings only got encouraged by Berry's words of encouragement and suggestions. Berry was trying to get Grass to turn on her family.

A long time ago, Berry was in love with Core. She encouraged him, helped him, and stayed with him. She felt utterly betrayed when he picked Shell as a mate, saying that they were just friends.

On the day that they turned 2, Grass led her siblings into a secluded area. They played as regular, yet something was different. Scorch sensed tension in the air, and Grass watching them more fiercely than usual. Suddenly, she pounced. Snarling out words of fury, she jumped onto Hazel's back. Scorch watched for a second, then backed out of the area and took off. He was unsure of where to go, running blindly. He ended up in North Pack territory, babbling gibberish. He was found by a hunting patrol and brought back, raised as one of them.

Grass severely injured Hazel, crippling her wings so flight was difficult. Grass was banished along with Berry, who was found out to have led Grass into the plan. As far as Scorch, nobody could find him. They searched and searched until they concluded that he must've run off and gotten lost or killed.

Scorch lived a relatively normal life in the North Pack, although he was haunted by memories and nightmares about his family, who he never did see again.

Appearance: He has golden fur streaked through with black. Some prominent parts marked in black are around his muzzle, his tailtip, and his ears, as well as having streaks across his back and stomach. He also has a thick, black pattern across his broad chest. Scorch's eyes are a warm amber and sometimes look golden when he's looking directly at light.

Powers: Fire

1: Fireball

He can ignite fire from inside his mouth and spit it out. This ability allows him to injure opponents from a distance. He can only use this about 10 times, each time getting weaker until he only breathes out a thin stream of smoke or a small spark.

After he shoots the fire, he can't stop it. Even if it will hit a friend he can't stop it unless something gets in the way. If he uses it too much (e.g. 10 times a day for 5 days straight), his throat will get sore, making him grumpy and unable to do this for about a week.

2: Flame Dance

While using this power, he has to lie down and concentrate very hard, leaving him vulnerable. The Flame Dance starts with some small sparks jumping around from the ground. It gets higher and higher until it can get as high as two wolf lengths from tailtip to nose. When it gets that high, the sparks turn into flames, twirling around and burning everything. After he stops this, flames shoot out at paw level.

He can't control where it burns; however, there's a small circle around him where it's warm but not burning. This takes a lot of concentration to do and if somebody breaks it, the Flame Dance breaks.

3: Blaze

This is the move he was named for. This is similar to Fire Wolf although he only sets on part of his body on fire. Typically, it's his mouth or paws, sometimes his tail.

This move doesn't require much energy but it might happen if he's feeling strongly about something. It's also hard to do on a large part of his body.

Disadvantages:

Although he isn't effected by the cold, if it gets too hot, he needs to sleep to prevent himself from getting too warm and then overloading on energy. His magic gets stronger when he's rested, but it also can get stronger if it's warm out. If he lies down for 1-3 hours, the part he's lying on can get very warm. 4-5 hours and it gets hots. 6-9 hours and it starts to flame. 10-13 hours and everything around him is effected; plants start to shrivel, air gets dry, etc. Longer than 13 hours and the entire area he's lying on turns into a huge fire.

Pack: North Pack

Rank and Position: Epsilon Hunter, high potential to become Gamma.

Other: Shell, Core and Hazel are open for play. Please consult dragcave if you wish to play them.

Character Name: Artemis

Gender: female

Age: 7 years

Personality: Artemis is gentle and kind, and her goodwill and cheerfulness makes her lovable. She will not hurt anything unless absolutely necessary, and rather prefers to heal.

History: Artemis was born in the pack, and trained to be a fighter. However, as her training progressed, it quickly became evident that fighting was not Artemis's skill. She was moved to hunting, but she couldn't do that either. Frustrated, the pack pushed Artemis into a place as a healer, which Artemis almost immediately showed skill at. This was also how she discovered her powers.

One day, while Artemis was out for a walk, she came upon a plant that she had seen once before. Like the time before, Artemis was strangely attracted to the plant. She sniffed it, and a sudden instinct told her that it could cure simple colds. Struck by inspiration, Artemis took the plant back to the pack, where she experimented with it. It worked.

Now finally understanding herself, Artemis continued to search for plants that would help, and after a year or so, found her second and third abilities: the ability to heal herself, as well as others. These she used cautiously, for she knew that if she used them too much, she could die from using the energy that her body didn't have.

Soon, Artemis became the Healer of the north pack, curing the sick and tending to the injured, as well as helping pups be born.

Appearance: Artemis is lean, small, and dainty, hardly a good size to fight or to bring down large prey. She isn't speedy or agile, which made it worse. She is a light gray, appearing silver in moonlight. She has no visible markings. Her eyes are light blue.

Powers: Healing

1. Artemis can instinctively find herbs and plants that will aid her in healing sickness and injuries

2. She also can, with great concentration and strength requirements on her part, heal a wound or sickness if necessary. However, this tires her greatly, as the wound takes the strength that it would have taken to heal at it's normal pace all at once from her. Her ability to use this is limited by her strength at the time as well as the size or seriousness of the disease/wound.

3. Artemis can smell injuries and sickness from a distance (a hundred yards or so), and it's easy for her to pinpoint the source. She can increase/decrease the sensitivity of this power, but she is unable to turn it off.

Username: LoveLost

Character Name: Quince but was called Quincy when he was a puppy.

Gender: male

Age: 8 1/2

Personality: A few things to know about Quince is that he is devoted to his pack and will do anything to keep them safe, even if it means fighting a bear himself and dying as the bear itself dies. He has never had a mate and doesn’t care to for the time being because he has yet to find a female that is as willing to die for her pack as he is. Quince can also be rather dark and brooding, or so it seems. It is mainly because of the contrast of his fur that other wolves would think that. In all honesty, he is a jovial wolf that loves to laugh when around wolves he knows, otherwise he is quite shy.

History:

Quince was born without any fur and near death. His parents were almost willing to let him die, but one of the Elders spoke about an ancient stone that they had found long ago and wondered if it would help the pup. The young parents ran all over the territory begging to find any semblance of this stone and found a small shard of it which they returned to their dying boy. When the stone was placed near him, it slowly dissolved and his fur grew in with a light blue tint.

It was another few weeks before Quince opened his eyes and when he did, they were a vivid blue that made his parents afraid that he was blind. However he could see perfectly but he had other things that were rather strange.

As they years progressed and the other pups grew at a normal rate, Quince grew slowly in his bones but his muscles were rather large for a pup his age and his speed was impressive. His parents thought that maybe he could be one of the famed wolves that had odd abilities and on his second birthday, that fact became a reality.

Quince had been hunting with one of the Gammas as he often did for fun and found himself face to face with a rather large wolf that was willing to kill both Quince and the Gamma. The Gamma told him to run, but Quince stayed where he was, his hackles raised, and an angry growl coming from his throat…but also an eerie blue light. When he opened his mouth further, the light came spewing from his mouth and hit home on the Omega, killing him instantly.

Word spread throughout the pack and Quince was starting to be questioned and paid attention to which made him very nervous, causing many to think that he was mute. When he did speak, he spoke directly to the Beta wolves and his Gamma friend who all tried to find a way to help him train; he was going to be a great asset to the pack.

It wasn’t too long before the previous Beta’s stepped up to be Alpha’s and they had to choose a Beta of their own. Quince was their first choice and was soon a Beta without a mate. He was a Beta for three years before the Alpha female died, making her mate step down in sorrow at his loss. With that result, Quince became the Alpha and many regard his knowledge and kindness a boon, while others think him soft. However those that think him soft and challenge him, will find that he has never allowed his abilities to get in the way of developing his natural skills as a wolf.

Appearance: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=...g+wolf#/d1hp268 This is shown to give a proportion. Quince is a large Southern wolf even compared to their standards and sizes. But he is also very long in the leg as many of the Elder’s would say about him. Many would also hear the Elders of the Southern pack state that “He looks like a pup.” Which is true because his body looks like he never grew into it. Despite all of that though, he is a very strong wolf, with bright blue eyes. His “mane”, tail, and “feathering” all have a blue tint to them especially when he is standing in the sun. Quince has scars all over his body from his Gamma days with one large one on his left shoulder where his fur has yet to grow back in and probably never will.

(he has these markings as well http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=...k+wolf#/d20fbb8 )

Powers: Energy Manipulation

1. Energy Breath

With this ability, Quince has the ability to project energy in a large, strong beam of searing energy.

The beam can't kill, but it can still sear the skin and leave painful burns that would take forever to heal. Also, when Quince uses this ability it tires him out because of the control that has to be used over a large amount of space even if it is incredibly useful.

2. Energy Claw/Paw/Touch

When in a fight, Quince can re-direct the energy that he has within him as well as in the world around him, to his paws, tail, snout and stomach. This allows him to either defend that area, or add extra repelling strength to that area. If he were to touch someone with that affected area with the intent to attack, the wolf would either be struck back or burnt because of the high concentration of energy.

3. Energy Absorb/Heal

When Quince is exhausted, he can absorb energy from around him and turn it into usable energy for his body. He doesn’t know how this happens, only that this is probably the reason that his body grows so slowly and heals so quickly

Pack: Southern

Desired Rank and Position: Alpha

Rank and Position: Alpha

Other: Quince will not live forever. However, I hope that it is okay that he lives longer than your general wolf. I plan on having him reach his peak at 12 years of age.

Username: crypticsoul

Character name: Ava

Gender: Female

Age: 6 years, 2 months

Personality: Ava is a whirlwind of a wolf, with clashing personality traits and an attitude that is all her own. She’s fiery and passionate, unmovable as a rock when she’s set in something and she will do anything to prove a point. However, she is loyal to a fault when it comes to Quince and her pack, never giving a second thought about her devotion to them. She would give anything for her fellow wolves, including her own life, and she follows Quince without question. Despite being a bit bull-headed, she knows her place and respects her Alpha greatly for what he’s accomplished and there’s no one else she’d rather follow. However, she’s not above joking with him or putting him in his place if he should so deserve it. She knows the formality of their relationship, and she respects that, but she wants him to be able to see her as a trusted friend as well. Ava is a riot, a strange mixture of spunk and feminine grace, and there’s a softness about her that’s only shown to a small few. Ava loves to romp around and play, when she’s not There was a point in her life when Ava become very dark and hard-hearted, a vicious being who existed only to train and fight, and she hated everyone. It nearly cost her everything, so nowadays she strives to make up for that and enjoy her life.

From a Beta standpoint, she’s smart and an excellent strategist, able to analyze situations in such a way as to offer Quince a different opinion. She’s very civil and formal when it comes to dealing with the more diplomatic situations her position requires of her, a surprise given her outrageous personality. She is determined to show Quince that he made the right decision in choosing her. She is oddly protective of him and will instantly snap at anyone who speaks ill of him. It’s a strange quirk of hers.

History: Ava was born in a liter of three, with one brother and one sister, to a nursery wolf mother and a Gamma warrior father. Ava’s mother, Lindi, possessed healing abilities that she passed on to Ava’s brother and sister, while she inherited many of her father’s traits, including his bold nature and fighting skill. Ava was close to her father, Holt, from the beginning, always following him around and becoming inconsolably depressed when he was gone. She desired more than anything to be like him and she saw the way the other warriors respected him, which made her proud to be his daughter but also scared to disappoint him. Ava’s driven nature definitely comes from her desire to please her father but it is also a trait that was nurtured and praised by her father, who wanted both his daughters to grow up strong. Holt would never say he showed favoritism, but he did spend more time with Ava than his other, more soft-natured children.

Ava first showed her abilities at a year old, during a game of hide and seek with her siblings. When their sister was no where to be found, the panicked siblings returned to their father, who went in immediate search of Ava. He found his giggling daughter beneath a blooming bush, her pelt identical to the array of colors, and she was hardly distinguishable save for her bright eyes. Holt was at a loss! What kind of strange ability had his daughter inherited and where in the world had it come from? Over the next few years, Holt helped his daughter develop and hone her abilities, all the while training her to follow in his footsteps.

When Ava was nearly four years old, a successful warrior in her own right by then, her father passed away from “poisons” associated with battle wounds. Ava was distraught. She blamed her mother and siblings, lashing out at them and getting into several physical fight with her brother. They were healers! How had he died on their watch? How could they not have saved him? She didn’t understand how they could fail the one wolf who mattered most to her and Ava actually stopped speaking to them for the next couple years. She has only recently began speaking to them again, though her relationship with her brother is awkward and strained. After her father’s death, Ava devoted herself to her warrior training, determined to grow strong and still live up to her father’s expectations. Ava rose among the ranks quickly, defeating any who dare challenge her, and she was certainly becoming known among the pack. It was two years ago when Quince, a wolf she knew by face and jolly personality, became Alpha that Ava began seriously considering a Beta position. She had always wanted more and she knew if would be the right step, something her father would be proud of, so she started working for it. She knew she would have to prove herself because, despite being a highly skilled warrior, she had never proven herself worthy of such a position. So, when Quince chose her a little over a year ago, she made it her new life mission to serve him to the best of her abilities and never make him regret his choice.

Appearance: [x]. Ava is built long and slender, with lean muscle and mildly untamed fur. She is slightly large for a female but she takes her stature and size with pride. Her coat is sandy brown, with cream-white undertones and reddish, rust-colored markings. Her eyes are a honey brown, always conveying her emotions, and their delicate curve gives her a features a mysterious look. She moves with sleek, powerful movements but she does have a hint of feminine grace about her. Ava’s fierce personality comes through in her stance and the way she carries herself, with her head held high and her body strong.

Power: Mimicry

Abilities:

- Mimic: Ava can change her appearance to mimic the world around her, kind of like a chameleon. This makes her incredibly good at camouflage so she’s an excellent scout and warrior because of it. However, she can only hold a mimic for about fifteen minutes, so it’s more suited for a quick strike rather than a laying-in-wait attack.

- Mirror Image: With this ability, Ava can completely copy the appearance of any other wolf, right down to the last hair on their tail. Though she’ll gain their looks and voice, she’s still Ava and won’t gain any personality ticks or thoughts of the wolf she copies, so she tends to do wolves she knows or has been studying for a while. To her, it’s important to get their movements and personality right, as to make the mimic believable, especially if she’s doing it for spying or infiltration purposes. Normally, Ava can hold a mirror image for about an hour or so but each is unique and depends on her energy level and the difficulty of the mimic (for instance, if the wolf has unique markings or an intricate coat pattern, it takes more energy to copy them). This ability takes concentration and if Ava becomes too distracted, she’ll lose the image. The image can literally be knocked off of her, as any hard physical contact tends to break her concentration, so this ability is unsuitable for battle. It’s strictly a spying asset.

- Power Copy: Ava’s main attack ability and it’s exactly how it sounds. Ava can copy the power ability of another wolf and use it as her own. An advantage to this ability is that Ava can keep a mental databank of every power she’s ever copied, which allows her access to the power that best fits the situation. She never loses a power she’s copied but which one she is able to use depends on energy level and what she can manage at that time. Ava can also strengthen and improve any ability she has, making it stronger and more powerful. However, it’s not without drawbacks. Some wolves’ abilities are simply too strong for her skill level and she can’t copy them. Other times, she can’t use the ability to the same extent as the original user and there’s always the problem of them having a natural defense against their own ability, which essentially could nullify her power. Ava has been known to use this ability on a willing companion (such as a friend), copying their powers to further enhance her own. *Note: since Ava’s power could involve some power-playing, it will always be up to the other RPer as to the extent that Ava copies their wolf’s ability, if she copies it all. I want it to be fair.*

Pack: Southern

Rank and Position: Beta

Other: Ava was once mated for a brief period of time but no one knows to who or what happened to him. They only know that he has since died and she never speaks of him.

*Ava’s siblings are playable if anyone should want them*

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Character Name: Lucifer

Gender: Female

Age: Four years, seven months.

Personality: Having been bothered by other wolves for the majority of her life, Luce has adopted an aloof social outlook. She does not interact much with others, but if communication does occur, she never seems terribly happy about it (though, if she isn't being outright annoyed, she may be slightly more pleasant). She has a very elegant poise, if a bit rough from her lonely life- this regal carriage presents itself unconsciously; either derived from her attitude or heritage, it remains unknown, and is subtle enough not to bring about negative reactions. Her presence can be commanding if she so wishes it to be, as her voice is powerful and stern, with a deep trill that captivates the interest and attention of those around her. However, for the majority of the time, Luce tends to keep to herself and not bother with the others, if it can be helped. But, because of her natural presence, she is very difficult to control and boss around if a wolf has not gained her respect prior. In fact, if she is so aggravated by the behavior of another wolf towards herself, she may even go as far as to spite them and do as she pleases.

Despite this seemingly self-centered demeanor (which, in truth, it is not), Luce is quiet and removed from the others. She never imposes herself upon another wolf unless absolutely necessary, nor does she interject her opinions or thoughts in a debate unless provoked. She prefers to remain solitary, keeping a few friends to whom she can speak to on a regular basis, but mostly keeping to herself as to avoid the nuisances of daily gossip and drama. Her temper may flare from personal jabs at her family, but insults otherwise are taken without heat and returned with a delightfully witty and sarcastic tongue.

History: Lucifer's parents were loners who met in the mountain summits, cut off from the main pack when they were children for unmentionable circumstances. They knew a little of stories about magical wolves, but never found anything of worth in them. Her father, Mayhem, was a strong wolf indeed, and took to mountain life well. He grew very accustomed to the harsh conditions and managed to thrive without too much trouble. When he came across Juniper, a she-wolf with nearly the same amount of strength and ferocity in the terrain as he, the two were nearly smitten on the spot. They stayed together since they met, living alone in the mountains and doing what they knew best- survival. It took a long time before they agreed to have pups, but only after Juniper convinced her mate that they should migrate back towards the pack lands in order to find sufficient food, at least while she was pregnant. The two planned to lay low at the edges of the Northern territory, snatching prey when the timing was perfect and the chance of getting caught was at its absolute lowest point. As Juniper began to grow larger and had a bit more difficult time moving around, Mayhem became increasingly worried that the open flatlands would soon expose them to the pack wolves. With much encouragement, the pair circled around the west, where it seemed the less populated, and made their way towards the very southern-most boarder. Along the way, however, they were spotted by a well-concealed Scouting party, and immediately flanked on all sides. Mayhem attempted to fight off the other wolves, but Juniper's reasoning held him back, and they reluctantly followed the Southern Wolves back to their camp.

After a few day's travel, Juniper and Mayhem found themselves facing the pack alpha. He didn't appear terribly excited that they had been discovered, but the notion that Juniper's pups would soon be born prevented him from kicking them back out into loner territory- or so, his mate convinced him not to. Mayhem and the Alpha did not outright resent each other, but they certainly did clash in personality, and more often than not, Mayhem found himself at the receiving end of punishment for things he did not do. He became increasingly agitated over this and was only placated by Juniper's soothing talk. Although they were officially omegas, and thus their pups would be as well, the Alpha female seemed to have enough compassion for the pair- or, well, Juniper- to allow the infants to stay. In fact, the two she-wolves were opposite of their male counterparts. The Alphess was often found in Juniper's den, where the two would talk and share stories about their lives. This baffled their mates, who would have rather face a grown bear than stay in the same five foot radius of the other. But, because they adored their wives above all else, the males begrudgingly accepted this friendship.

When Winter came, Mayhem proved his worthiness as a hunter and braved the icy winds much more easily than the other wolves. His experience in the mountains allowed him to maneuver and act with much more efficiency, putting him on par with even the wisest of the Gammas. This infuriated a few of them, but even personal threats did not undermine the great wolf. He was like the mountain he grew from; hard, unmovable, and sturdy. It was only when Juniper went into labor that he abandoned his post to be by her side. When his mate gave birth to Lucifer, neither of them noticed any abnormalities about her. She was a soft white pup that squeaked when she was hungry, but other than was quiet and easily taken care of. Mayhem was enthralled with his daughter and devoted whatever spare time he had in spending time with his mate and child. They were a happy family, despite some flack from other pack members because of their low status.

Come the next spring (about two months after Luce's birth), the Alpha and his mate set out together for some time alone. No one quite knows what happened during that trip, but as rumor as it, that one of them stumbled across a strange, smooth rock. Upon inspection, the stone reacted violently and flames burst from the Alpha's body. In surprise and horror, his mate jumped back and howled loudly; unfortunately, a mother bear and her cub were extremely close by, and thus the Alphess lost her life to an aggravated grizzly.

News of their death hit the pack like a tidal wave. It was expected that the Beta would step up and take over, having been second in command for so long- but he was an old wolf, and Mayhem felt as though the Beta was not fit to lead. He argued over the Beta's efficiency as a ruler, and much to everyone's surprise, the old wolf agreed and politely declined the chance at rulership. Despite the pack putting in a vote for someone else, Mayhem suddenly stepped up and challenged the wolf whom was supposedly elected. He was determined to prove that a mountain wolf was just as strong, if not stronger, and worthy of a proper pack rank, instead of the lowly Omega he had been upon arrival months ago. Amused by this challenge, the elected decided to hold a battle, and determined that the winner would become the next Alpha, similar to how it was done in the Northern packs. The other wolves were not very pleased with this change in tradition, but the elected was cocky, and assured them that Mayhem would lose his life soon enough.

Juniper pleaded with her mate not to go through with the fight, but Mayhem was stubborn and refused to listen to her reasoning. "I will not let my daughter face a childhood of bullying and misery simply because of who we are," he said. With that, he turned and entered the battle grounds.

The result of the fight was unpleasant, to say the least. Mayhem was a strong wolf, honed by the harsh conditions of the mountains, but he underestimated his opponent greatly and relied on his pride to carry him through the fight. Although he was able to prove his worth as a fighter, his opponent was tricky, and also well-trained. The fight lasted nearly an hour with the two clashing and falling apart, circling and diving at opportune moments. When the unfortunate moment came across Mayhem and he tripped over one of his own paws, the elected lunged forwards and snapped his jaws over the back of Mayhem's neck, just below the junction of the skull and spine. With his powerful jaw, the elected broke through flesh and severed the spinal cord, nearly shattering the bone along with it. Juniper watched from the dens, horrified over what had happened. Before she could even control herself, the she-wolf darted out of the den and tackled the elected, who had been standing proudly over Mayhem's bloodied body. She locked her teeth into the elected's throat and torn at him with fang and claw, never ceasing even when other wolves attacked her for interfering. When Juniper was finally pulled off of the elected, bloody and severely injured, it was revealed that she had done what she meant to do- the elected's body remained limp on the ground beside her beloved's, never to rise again.

There was much debate in the pack over what punishment Juniper would receive. Her murder of the newly elected Alpha- for, since he had won the battle with Mayhem, he had officially received the title- was a heinous crime, and she was never again to be redeemed in their eyes. Many pushed for the death penalty, but with the sway of the Beta, she was instead escorted off the lands and never seen nor heard of again.

Many wolves also fought over what was to come of Lucifer, the little white pup with the cobalt-blue eyes. On the day of her parents' death, the pup's eyes grew incredibly dark, to a shade that was nearly impossible to differentiate from black. She had become even more quiet and reserved at that point, despite being nearly too young to understand what exactly had taken place. The old beta, whom had been largely impressed by the courageous (if a little stupid) acts of her parents, managed to once again persuade the others from allowing death to serve as the sentence. Though many of the she-wolves were uninterested in carry for the child, given she was an "Omega's brat", the old Beta took her under his paw and saw to raising her himself. He had seen the qualities in her that he had not seen in a long time, and decided to train her to become the best wolf possible in her situation.

As Lucifer grew older and her mentor retired from his Beta rank, other wolves continued to remember her parents and lashed out at her for their "wrongdoings" and the status of her family. The Alpha that was elected shortly after the carnage of Mayhem and Juniper did not care much either way of what happened, though he didn't seem particularly prejudiced against her like many were. She worked hard under the training of her mentor, learning many techniques of hunting and fighting. Along the way, she began showing signs of unique abilities; at times with her training, Luce's mentor would notice who she would appear to flicker in and out of existence. During that time, he found he could not touch her, as if she were a ghost of some sort. These episodes lasted only mere seconds, and most of the time Lucifer did not even realize it was happening. It was decided, then, that their work would remain in secret, in remote areas of the land where the chance of another wolf spotting Luce's power would be close to none. It was when she was three years old that her mentor announced she had mastered control over his power; though, there was no saying if it went beyond of what she was able to do then, she could manipulate it enough to be considered beyond his teaching capabilities any longer.

About a year later, when her mentor passed from his old age, Lucifer found herself alone and purposeless. She wandered the camp, still considered an omega, and did the little things that someone of her rank was allowed. A few days after her mentor had died, the Alpha approached Luce and prepared her to be evaluated. She was to accompany the current Beta on a trip into the forest to hunt for food and scout for potential dangers. Neither the Alpha nor the Beta truly realized the magnitude of her training, and as well were ignorant to her power of particle phasing. Nonetheless, the next morning Lucifer was escorted from the camp by the Beta and a group of Gammas elected to tag along. The rules were simple; obey the Beta's orders and assist in the hunt for prey, as well as act accordingly when seeking out threats or new information. Lucifer remained quiet on her trip, only answering with a slight nod of her head or flicker of her cobalt eyes when spoken to. When they came across fresh deer trail, the Beta led the group after the animal and into a tight clearing. At first, the wolves didn't see the stag; it was Luce that noticed the hoof dangling from a low tree branch, and looked up to find the recently shredded carcass of the buck propped up in the tree. She also was the only one to see the black shadow flash through the branches before the piercing scream of the panther met their ears- without hesitation, the chalk-white female crouched by the belly of the Beta as the massive cat dropped from the tree above them, claws outstretched for the second-in-command. In a split second, just as her body convulsed and launched her upwards, the she-wolf's body completely flickered out of sight for only a mere moment, before she materialized again directly above the Beta's body. The panther had not anticipated her interception, and thus her jaws immediately closed over his thick neck as she slammed into his chest. The force of the impact threw them to the side, managing to miss the other wolves by mere inches. When she stood up, the body of the panther lying still on the ground, she glanced over at the others and the shock-stricken faces that stared back at her. She wore a look of utter distaste, as if her feat had been nothing more than batting off a moth from a frightened pup.

Needless to say, the story of her "rescue" was quick to spread through camp. The wolves gossiped about it mainly for the fact that they were astounded a useless wolf of her rank could ever pull something of the sort and get away unscathed. They were also incredibly suspicious of her training, as none of them were aware what the Old Beta had been up to all that time alone with the orphaned pup.

When presented to the Alpha, he shocked them all- including Lucifer, albeit she appeared unsurprised- he declared her promotion in rank. However, it was not to Epsilon, but to Gamma- in his words, “She showed more cunning and reflex than those other idiots standing around with their mouths hanging open, and in my opinion deserves it more than any of them combined.” Some wolves did not take kindly to this and continued to jeer and pester her with insults, but Lucifer’s pride had grown, and with it, an iron defense that would no longer be marred by their hurtful words. She even grew to bantered back at them, leaving more than a few at a loss for words.

Since it has been a few months since Lucifer’s promotion, she has become accustomed to her new responsibilities and performs them dutifully, never slacking and always serious. In the moments where she has some time to herself, Lucifer remains a diligent soldier and philosopher.

Appearance: {x} Because of her heritage, Lucifer was endowed with size and figure. She is a tall specimen with a long, flowing spine that allows her to maneuver gracefully like a gentle brook. Her chalk-white fur, which stands out like a brilliant star (and isn’t so effective for camouflage and only adds to her ghostliness in the darkness), is thick and strong, almost with a wiry texture around the back of her neck, between her shoulders, and across her spine. The fur along her throat, sides, and belly is long and wispy like silk. All four legs are lengthy and willowy that carry her with a natural elegance. Her slender head is held high, like a queen or other royalty, though her expression is devoid of the haughtiness most would expect with someone of her carriage. Luce’s eyes are a deep cobalt blue, more often than not appearing more as coal-black. The only times the true color can be detected is when her face is hit with direct sunlight and the dark blues will shine through, or in shadows, when her eyes give off a faint bluish glow.

Powers: Phasing;

-Luce’s first ability is the most well-known besides the second one. She is able to completely phase, or pass through, solid matter, even if it is living or not. Trees, stone, wolves, what have you, Luce can go through it no problem. Most of the time the density of the object will impede the speed in which she can phase through it. A large, thick stone will take considerably more time, energy, and effort to pass through than say, a fellow wolf. She can also phase through the ground, but getting back up to the surface is often a struggle and can spend up to half of the amount of energy she has, depending on the depth she sinks to. She also will not pass through an object unless she concentrates specifically on it; currently she can manage about two or three different things at a time.

-Her second ability is similar, but it deals specifically with air. Luce has discovered a way to phase through the very air particles, and the result appears as if she has transported to another location. However, it is not exactly the same as transportation- When phasing through air, she moves through it as though she were walking in that direction, but simply that she turned “invisible”. She is unable to be touched, smelled, seen, or heard, because her molecules separate so that she may pass through the gases in the air undetected. The amount of energy is a little more than what it takes to jog to whatever place she decides to rematerialize, but the drawbacks to this include sensitivity to light when she remanifests herself (it will temporarily disorient her depending on how long/far she phased through air), and being unable to immediately phase through another object (or through air) for at least another minute and a half. This is generally the time when she passing through more than one object, through if she happens to pass through something else in addition to air-phasing, it will sap her energy twice the amount than as if she had gone through it normally.

Luce’s third and final ability, though she is far from even learning about it, includes dimensional phasing (not unlike teleportation, but more closely related to “portals”).

Pack: South

Rank and Position: Gamma; Scout

Other: Although no one is really aware of this, save for perhaps the Old Beta who raised her (and even then, he only had a suspicion), Luce’s parents were both descendants from royal bloodlines. Their own parents, in fact, were from pure lines of ancestors who had once ruled the packs back when they were single units and wolves relished in magic and power. Since the histories have long been forgotten, except maybe by the much older wolves that adamantly care to keep those stories alive, Lucifer’s features remain unidentified for the reminiscent features of the Kings and Queens of the ancient times.

Character Name: Holtan

Gender: Male

Age: 6 years 2 months

Personality: Holtan is a kind and quiet wolf who prefers healing to fighting. However, he is a very capable warrior when he needs to be. He tends to prefer to work alone or in small groups, as he is not very social and not much of a talker. He cares deeply for the health of his pack, but not at all for the other pack; he is suspicious about their motives and doesn't trust them, and will only heal a member of their pack if it is a pup (or if directly commanded to by a Beta or Alpha). Holtan does love pups and is especially caring towards orphan pups or pups who have no father. He would more than willingly take up position as their father-figure and spends a lot of time teaching and playing with the pups. He would happily raise pups of his own, but he doubts his ability to be the father they would need and so has avoided any relationships with female wolves.

History:

Holtan was born one of three, the only male of the litter. He was always the biggest of his siblings and was proud of his size and abilities. Like his mother and one of his sisters, Holtan had healing as an ability. His healing abilities first showed when he was two months old. However, his healing worked differently from his mother and sister's healing.

Holtan loved his sisters and wanted to be the strongest big-brother ever. He had heard of other 'big-brother' wolves doing incredible things for their sisters, like putting the finishing blow on an elk and bringing an antler back for their sister. Holtan wanted to do all that and more. However, as he grew things didn't turn out like he had hoped. His sisters didn't look up to him; although he dreamed of fighting and hunting, he was actually a soft-spoken pup with a gentle nature. Holtan's rougher sister, Ava, looked up to her father as her role-model, while Holtan's other sister looked to her mother for teaching in healing. Holtan felt stuck in the middle and confused, and although he worked hard with his healing ability he wasn't sure what he wanted to be, or how he wanted to grow up.

Time passed and Holtan finally decided to be a warrior. He didn't like hunting and was no good at scouting, so he felt he had no other choice than to be a warrior. Many Gammas were disappointed with him; they told him he had the body and heart to be a warrior, if only he'd train hard and put his soul into his work, but Holtan never did. He was too laid-back to get deep into his training, and yet he didn't practice long hours with healing either. When asked about it, Holtan told one Gamma that he had a sister warrior and a sister healer, and so he didn't need to be either. He still trained, but not as hard as he could. He has never regretted anything more than his lack of training.

One dark and stormy morning, Holtan's mother woke him up early, tears streaming down her furry face. She rushed him outside with no explanation and brought him to the body of his dying father. His sister (not Ava) was already there trying to heal her father, but she seemed to be failing. Holtan's mother rushed over to continue trying as well. Holtan sniffed the body, and with dread found out why his father was dying; poison. There was nothing Holtan could do about poison, not with the level his powers are at. And so, even as he took his father's wounds, Holtan could do nothing more but watch as his father died a painful death.

The next weeks of Holtan's life were the gloomiest ever. His sister Ava was so crushed by her father's death, for Holt had been her biggest hero. Several times Ava became aggressive and yelled at her mother. Holtan knew it wasn't their mother's fault, and so he would block Ava from seeing her and demand she leave. Ava and him got into several fights because of this. Holtan realized then how weak he really was, and what a failure he was. He could barely tie his sister in physical fights. He couldn't heal his father. He didn't even know how to comfort his mother. The fact that Ava confirmed his weakness by blaming him for his father's death didn't help. Finally, Ava simply stopped talking to him and the rest of her family. It hurt so badly, Holtan wanted to just run off and become a loner. However, he knew why; it was because he was weak. He no longer wanted to be weak, and so he stayed and trained.

He trained hard and furiously. He became strong and fit and earned the position of Gamma as a Warrior within a year. He excelled with his abilities when he actually practiced, though he still couldn't remove poison. Holtan watched his sisters from a distance, and was happy for Ava as she grew and became stronger. He wasn't jealous at all, but his relationship with her is still quite strained and he doesn't smile when she's around. He feels extremely guilty around her but also a bit angry at her for blaming his sister and mother. The mixed emotions make their conversations short and awkward, so Holtan seldom attempts to talk to her.

Nowadays Holtan works hard still and is searching for his own shard of rock so he can improve his abilities. Holtan wishes to ask the Alpha for permission to make a new job for wolves; the Healer job. He is forming his own special warrior techniques that he hopes to perfect and make part of the Healer's skills, if he can get the job of Healer approved. Right now though, with his sister as the Beta, he's not sure he's ready to ask...

Appearance: Holtan

Holtan is tall. He's not thick or layered in muscle, but all he is is muscle; he works hard. Because he's tall and strong he tends to be good at work that takes lots of stamina. He's not particularly fast, but he's definitely strong.

Powers:

Wound Transfer

1. Your Wounds Are Mine: If Holtan makes eye contact with a wolf (even for just a moment), he can prevent them from getting any injuries. They are invincible, for up to ten minutes. However, any injuries they would get while in this state instead go to Holtan. For example, if they are bitten on the neck by a bear, the moment the bear lets go they are no longer injured, but Holtan has the puncture wounds instead. This does not work against poisions.

2. Wound Transfer: If a wolf is injured, Holtan can take the injuries from that wolf's body onto his own by touching them. He does not have to be touching the wound, and he can take internal wounds. The wounds go to the same places on his body as they were on the other wolf's body. Holtan cannot take scars or move poison into his own body. Holtan cannot take mortal wounds either, unless he is using his third ability at the same time he tries to take the wound.

3. My Wounds Are Yours: Holtan's final ability, and the one he uses the least. It is the opposite of his first ability; if Holtan makes eye contact with a wolf, he can get any injury and not be injured. Instead his injury goes to the body of the other wolf. This power can last up to ten minutes or until the other wolf has died. Holtan can't activate this if he has recently finished using his first ability. He can use it at the same time as his first ability (if he's using his first ability on a different wolf), but only for five minutes. After using this ability, he must rest a while before using it again.

Drawback: As stated in the powers, Holtan cannot remove poison from his body or the bodies of others. He can only remove wounds, and cannot remove long-term diseases. With the second ability he CAN remove little sicknesses like colds and fevers, but nothing like... I dunno, cancer or something.

Pack: Southern

Rank and Position: Epsilon, Healer.

Other: He is Ava's brother, in case someone missed that. :3

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Character Name: Dayhl

Gender: Female

Age: Just turned a year.

Personality: Since she was born, other wolves have noted the strange look of intelligence in her eyes that other pups her age could not even dream of possessing until much later. This sense of other worldliness, as if she knew life before that as a pup, tends to make other wolves uncomfortable until they get used to being around her. She is not as active in play as those around her age, though from time to time she will expend her energy by tussling with the others. Because she tends to be rather rough in her play, only the older pups appreciate her aggression.

When calm, Dayhl is always interested in learning new things. She appears to have a lot of knowledge on the subject of battle strategies, though this has been thought to be due to the fact that she enjoys studying warriors as they train. She can get ahead of herself in her studies, though, and may fail if she does not quite absorb a concept completely. In this fact, she becomes frustrated and irritable, and is susceptible to lashing out at anything that provokes her annoyance. Although she has not seriously injured anyone, some of the other wolves believe Dayhl has the potential to be dangerous with her anger in her older years.

History: Dayhl was born to a slightly older she-wolf that had complications during pregnancy, and so grew ill shortly after delivery and was unable to care for the newborn. She had been the only other pup in the litter besides her brother, whom suffered from malnourishment and was taken under special care. Dayhl was then adopted by a then-present nursing she-wolf and raised as one of her litter instead, since her birth mother never fully recovered. From time to time, Dayhl got to meet her birth parents, but what might have been a family bond never occurred. Instead, Dayhl formed a family with only a few wolves; her adoptive mother was her source of comfort, though her adoptive father never paid much attention, and would at times growl at her if she approached him or her adoptive siblings if he was in the area. He never truly approved of her, for whatever reason, and so she was slowly alienated from her siblings. Instead, she visited her biological brother occasionally, but he never was very interested in playing or communicating with her. She was incredibly frustrated by the lack of attention, but she eventually became accustomed to being shut out, and sought to entertain herself, by herself, instead. It was at that time, however, that she met a young wolf named Holo. The mute she-wolf was a year older than Dayhl, but she showed the pup more affection than anyone else she had ever known, and so became very attached to Holo. She regarded Holo as an older sister, and quite possibly the only wolf besides her adoptive mother (who, at that point, didn't get to interact with her as much anymore) that really cared anything for the poor child.

Dayhl spent a lot of time with Holo, talking to her about things she had learned or about things that had happened during her day. Though the older she-wolf never did get to respond verbally, Dayhl always felt as though she understood her somehow. As if they possessed some secret, innate bond that no one else was able to access. With Holo, Dayhl felt so much more confident with herself and soon was able to interact with others normally instead of trying to slink away like a shadow. Because of Holo, Dayhl also met Lucifer, although the Gamma doesn't seem very interested in spending too much time with a young adolescent. Dayhl has come to the conclusion that some day she wishes to hold a rank as high as Lucifer, maybe even higher, and to become the best huntress out of all the wolves from the Southern and Northern packs combined.

Appearance: {x} Because she is still young, Dayhl is rather small, about three fourths the size of a full grown wolf. Her long, gangly legs hint that she may be quite tall for a female, and her paws are large due to her young age. Her coat is a rich dark brown laced with hints of black, which appears reminiscent of the coat of another wolf from long ago. Although she does not seem to sport the same ice-blue markings on the face, there appears to be a faint ring of blue around the tips of her ears. Her eyes are a deep honey gold, usually warm or curious, though in her anger can burn fiercely and look oddly similar to the wolf in which she had once been.

Powers: Poison;

-Dayhl has the ability to inject a powerful venom into the bloodstream of her prey whenever she latches her fangs deep into the flesh. By injecting this venom, it courses through the body, first attacking the nervous system that affects the spine and legs and slowly rendering the victim immobile from paralysis (those larger creatures tend to go through the process at a slower rate, and may not be as affected by the paralysis). However, if she manages to hold on for over two minutes, she can inject enough poison into the body so that it will travel to the brain stem and begin to shut down each lobe until the victim is at the very last strand of brain life. So far she hasn't been able to hold on long enough to actually kill something, though the potential is still there.

This venom is not present when she does not will it, thus a regular bite will do no harm.

-She also as the ability to protect her saliva at an alarming trajectory. This acidic spit is extremely corroding and can practically melt through any substance other than bone. Water also destroys its affects by diluting the solution until it is absolutely harmless. This also means that when she is the most thirsty, she is also the most dangerous- however, it would be very hard to produce much saliva at all in that state. Under normal circumstances, the acidic spit is not produced unless she is in a very emotionally traumatic (severe depression, anger, etc) state.

-Dayhl's third and last ability, which she is not old enough to discover yet, is the poison exhaust. After a few moments, she will be able to build a poisonous gas in her lungs and expel it in large quantities. This gas affects everything it touches, including plants, and will slowly plague the living matter with decay. The plants will wither into brown, crispy heaps, and animals may choke and burn from the inside out, and may also suffer acid burns on the surface of their flesh. The faces are the most vulnerable to this attack, where the skin may slough completely off depending on the concentration received in that area. Blindness may occur totally, even if the eyes are not completely melted out of the skull.

Similar to her acidic spit, water and moisture dulls the effect. If she drinks water before preforming this ability, the gas will be considerably less concentrated, and the effect on the area the exhaust touches will look less dead and decayed, though it will still harm all living matter in the area.

Username: Dr. Paine

Character Name: Holo

Gender: Female

Age: Two years.

Personality: Holo seems to be the embodiment of true purity, the complete inverse of her mother. She seems completely incapable of any negative feelings, and has never been seen to grow angry with another, nor jealous, resentful, anything like that. She either has a kind word to say, or nothing at all. Because of this, though, she is not the most assertive wolf. Many times, she's gone hungry or settled for scraps because an Omega begged for another bite, or she's forced to sleep in the cold because someone else needed a warm space. But again, she never gets upset- she simply accepts it with a quiet dignity, and the mantra that there is always someone more in need than herself.

History: No one is quite sure where Holo came from. All anyone can remember is that a strange pup suddenly appeared in the nursery one winter morning, near a female that had lost a pup not too long ago. The female would never have noticed had she not felt the tiny muzzle bumping against her belly, blindly searching for a place to suckle. The she-wolf helped the pup though, oddly protective of it even though she could not remember such a pup being born to any of her pack. The scent on the pup was strange, too, neither of her pack or the Northern wolves, with whom the Southern wolves had been sharing territory with. It smelled of somewhere far away, and she could swear that the scent of blood and decay also lingered on the pup's pelt.

Despite her misgivings, the female nursed the pup along with her own two surviving ones, thinking Holo as much her child as the others. Holo was the most well behaved, too- she never tried to sneak extra food, never bothered the other adults, and never spoke a word out of turn- although, that may have been because Holo was as incapable of speaking as she was misbehaving. No squeak nor howl nor bark ever escaped her mouth, and if it weren't for her distinct coloration and oddly peaceful aura, may might have completely forgotten of Holo's existance.

Holo didn't mind that much, though. She often prefered to be alone, or spend time with Lucifer, whom she had come to think of as another sister.

While she's never been able to tell anyone, Holo has also suffered from strange nightmares for most of her life. A she-wolf that made her feel ill simply by being near, another wolf, the memory of another pup, a jumble of death and pain and terror. She has slowly come to shake them off as nothing but simple if not somewhat disturbing dreams, and contents herself with being the best healer she can be.

Appearance: For the most part, Holo is a soft, spotless white. Her fur is rather thick and fluffy, especially along her tail. Holo has a number of odd markings, mostly on her face- two small blue rings around her eyes, two more around her ears, and a blue spot right in the middle of her forehead. Her eyes are not unlike Lucifer's, being a brilliant blue, though they do not seem to glow in low light, and are not quite as dark a blue.

She is a fairly long-legged wolf, looking somewhat ungainly, but she moves about easily enough. Not very lean, nor bulky, just rather... average sized.

Powers: Purification.

Pure of body, mind and spirit: If Holo concentrates hard, she can purify a wolf of anything that seems to be causing them distress. This can be anything from sickness to bad dreams to pain to dark thoughts. If it is causing them any sort of hurt, she will take it away from them. However, this can only be done if the wolf knows what is causing them distress, and only if they consent to be healed.

Go and sin no more: If she can catch another wolf's eyes, and hold their gaze, Holo can make them much like her- incapable of anything one could consider 'bad'. For anywhere from ten minutes to a full 24 hours, the wolf will be incapable of falsehoods, pride, greed, wrath, envy... anything like that. As mentioned though, Holo must be able to hold their gaze for some time, and leaves her extremely vulnerable to attack.

Peace: An ability that is always 'on', so to speak. Any wolves within a meter of Holo will feel oddly at peace, or at least, calmer if something is upsetting them. No real drawback to this one, aside from the fact that the peaceful feeling immediately vanishes when she leaves.

Another odd trait about Holo is that about once every few weeks, more if she's been healing, she will cough up a rather large ball of a black, tar-like substance. These are extremely toxic, both physcially and emotionally, one will feel drained even being near them. Holo tends to dispose of these in already lifeless areas, such as stagnant, undrinkable pools of water or rocky areas on land.

Pack: South.

Rank and Position: Epsilon, Healer/Sitter.

Other: Is mute, in case that wasn't made totally clear xd.png

Character Name: Kiv

Gender: Male

Age: 5 years

Personality: (Will mainly RP out). Kiv is usually devious and sly, studying the behaviour of wolves around him and using it to his advantage. He is seen as quiet and somewhat odd, but a few have opened up to him.

History: Kiv never knew his mother, but he had grown close to his father, Tyith. Originally, both once lived in the Northern Pack, where Tyith was a great hunter, and Kiv followed in his footsteps, but was always troubled by what happened to his mother. Whenever he asked Tyith about it, he was always given a short, uninteresting answer. “I don’t know.” As Kiv grew older, he started to demand to know what happened. He had to find out and Tyith was the only one who knew. Or so Kiv thought…

Another wolf in the pack overheard his demands and told him what he suspected happened in secret. Kiv was told that Tyith was suspected of murdering his mother. Horrified, Kiv listened on, wanting to know why. The wolf told him simply that “She had the white streak.” Scared, but determined, Kiv asked his father what the “white streak” meant, but didn’t bring up the topic of murder. After having a long argument, Tyith finally confessed that Kiv’s mother had it, and that he thought it was related to her having a power. Tyith himself did not have one. Kiv had often asked if he had a power, but his father always replied, “You have none.”

Kiv, after learning this, decided to inquire about what really happened to his mother, and if Tyith did actually murder her. Tyith eventually confessed, and Kiv, sad and horrified, ran away. He still does not know why his father would do such a thing, and he has to believe that there was more motive than just having envy of a power. Tyith always referred to wolves that had powers as “freaks”.

Kiv joined the Southern pack and worked his way up to Epsilon. He hates his father and wishes to get revenge on him one day, if he is still alive. However, to do that, he first needs to get power, and his attention now is focused on climbing up the ranks. He envies the wolves that have powers, as he is sometimes made fun of for not having one. For now, to entertain himself, he tries to play tricks on the Omegas, to see if he can influence different wolves in different ways.

Appearance: Kiv thinks of himself as bland, since he has dusty, brown fur that always seems to look dirty. His eyes are pitch black, and his body overall is lean and small, but he doesn’t look “weak”. One thing that troubles him, though, is that he has a white streak stretching from his left eye, over his ear and along his back to his tail…

Powers: Nothing that he knows of, so far. (Some might be discovered in time).

Pack: South.

Rank and Position: Epsilon – hunter.

Other: (Anything that doesn't fit into the above)

Character Name: Vheni

Gender: female

Age: 1 year

Personality: Vheni, as she was in her past life, though she does not know this, she is somewhat moody and is almost always sarcastic. Though not overly social, she's not completely solitary either. She enjoys making cruel remarks, but she doesn't mean them... most of the time, anyways. She's cunning and likes to play around with the other wolves, no matter the age. She is strangely wise for her young age, and seems to have flashbacks to strange memories that she cannot understand.

History: Vheni was born into the North Pack to Gamma parents, along with two other siblings, Zara and Seth. She was born with her eyes open, and unlike any other pup, she could see perfectly from the day she was born. Creeped out by this unusual phenomenon, and dissatisfied by Vheni's deaf ear, Vheni's parents abandoned her in the first week of her life. After she had been abandoned, the nursery wolves took care of Vheni, and she grew steadily under their care, though she might have been larger if she had been properly cared for by her parents.

Vheni made friends with the other pups, and although they were all stronger and bigger than her, she compensated by using her size as an advantage, and became as good as the other pups. Having to get up to the others' standards kept Vheni very fit, and she was quickly stripped of any puppy fat, giving her the look of a small adult wolf. Her witty, sarcastic remarks also gave the impression that Vheni was a lot older than she was.

At nights, Vheni had strange, vivid dreams that took her to a land that she had never seen or heard of, with forests and bare brush and a large river, and a camp that she had never seen before. There were wolves in her dreams and visions, wolves that were plainly unfamiliar to Vheni, wolves that also had powers. Vheni couldn't make heads or tails out of these visions, and fearing that the other wolves would think of her as crazy, she never told anyone else. The other pups just thought that she always had nightmares due to her muttering and squeaks in her sleep, and no one has yet found out her secret. However, Vheni has seen some wolves that are in her pack in her dreams, and she is wondering what connection they have to her strange visions...

As her time came for her to begin training, Vheni strived hard to become a warrior. Despite her deafness, Vheni, having had practice playing with the other pups, quickly learned how to fight and defend herself using what she had as an advantage. Although it was easy for wolves to sneak up on her deaf side, Vheni could easily escape and counterattack, and learned to listen closely so that she wouldn't be ambushed with her good ear. As she trained on, Vheni always had a sense of fulfillment, a sense of happiness, as if she had done something that she had wanted to do for years. This she never understood, but she didn't question it either. It was just a part of her, like her leg or tail was.

Vheni quickly excelled in her training. Although she had never learned how to fight properly, other than her tussels with the other pups, Vheni seemed to know most of the things that she was taught already: the battle tactics, the moves, and the strategies. Although her teachers were pleased with the progress, they were also perplexed at this sudden show of skill. How had she learned this?

Hearing of her success, Vheni's parents that had abandoned her so many months ago came back to her one night. Vheni had lost all love for them by then, and she responded to their visit coldly. Enraged, Vheni's parents attacked the pup, and the ruckus woke the other wolves. Vheni's parents were banished from the pack for attacking a pup, and Vheni's siblings followed them out of the pack. The parents' bodies were found a few weeks later, their bodies covered in bloody scratches that only a bear could have made. Vheni's siblings were never found and were believed to be dead.

Vehni was traumatized by the experience, and it took her over a month to recover. When she did, she came out of it strong as ever, and trained doubly as hard, wanting to become the best of the best. She trains on, either by herself, with other pups, or with other full grown wolves, and strives to win all her battles.

Appearance: http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/tjommy/t...23-red-wolf.jpg She has amber eyes that seem to piece your soul, or more often, see through you. Her coat is reddish, much like a red wolf. She is deaf in her left ear. She is smaller than the average pup her age, but leaner and quicker, and has an advantage in fighting due to this. She is not adult sized yet, but is quickly growing. Her growth at this stage suggests that she will not be quite as large as the average wolf, but a bit smaller.

Powers: Sight

1. Vheni can see through solid objects if she so wishes.

2. Vheni can see very clearly, including the minuscule details. She can not turn this power off.

3. Vheni can see very far distances, for now up to 100 yards, or if she really strains, 125 yards. This skill develops with her growth.

Drawback: Except for her 2nd power, Vheni has to freeze and concentrate very hard if she wants to use any of her powers, which becomes a big disadvantage in battle. She rarely uses her power in the heat of battle, and prefers to just rely on her second power, which doesn't require much effort.

Pack: South

Rank and Position: Epsilon, training to be a warrior.

Other: Vheni is the reincarnation of Veni, from Howl to Me. Same power, same deafness, and random visions of her past life that Vheni does not understand. Zara and Seth are open for anyone who wants to play them.

Character Name: Oksana (For The WIN!!!)

Gender: Female

Age: Five years old

Personality: Stubborn, determined, playful and positive, Oksana tends to be the center of attention. Despite her history (which some would claim she made up), she's an incredibly positive wolf with a very young heart and no timidity about her. She never lies and always says just what she means, which can sometimes make other wolves a bit put off. She tends to show great favoritism towards those with wings, those with speed, and those with green fur and she never hides when she has favoritism to show. Still, personality is what matters the most to her. She absolutely loves her mate Pax, and some would say she's almost immature when joking around with him. Once quite innocent, Oksana is now knowledgeable and works every day to learn more. She does not really seem to like the pups of other wolves, however, which is a criticism some hold against her. She will teach pups and play with them, but if they aren't listening or don't want to learn she won't teach them, simple as that. A patient pup could learn a lot from Oksana.

History:

Oksana doesn't talk about the first few years of her life very much, but she admits they were filled with pain that she didn't realize existed until much later. Since on two or three occasions her story has conflicted with something she’s said earlier, many believe that she covered up her true history with a similar history. According to herself, she grew up in one of the 'mini' packs that used to roam the edge of the thin forest near the North pack... that is, it wasn't a real pack but more of a family. Others know that she was orphaned at a young age and taken in by the mini pack, and she grew up there for about seven months along with one other pup whose mother had gone crazy. His name was Pax.

At six months old, Oksana discovered her powers. She and Pax had just been disciplined by a member of the pack for speaking when she shouldn't, and her little self was absolutely fuming. She announced her fuming-ness to Pax, who decided he was bored of being in the den and wanted to sneak out. So what did the stubborn pups do? They ran off, and ran for quite a ways. Naive and not a bit scared of the dark, Pax and Oksana wandered for a long way until the sun set, and then realized they had no idea where they were. Pax shrugged off this fact and assumed the pack would find them some day--and even if they didn't, they were on an adventure! Oksana was a bit unsure, but she didn't want to look sissy to Pax and so she shoved her worry aside and enjoyed herself. As the sun set the two pups got tired, and so they lay down and closed their eyes...

Oksana awoke to a shocked yelp from Pax. When she opened her eyes, she saw a yearling bear chasing Pax. Having never seen a bear, it took Oksana a while to realize that Pax wasn't playing games. The creature cornered Pax who desperately leapt up a tree (see his profile to get his powers), but the creature could climb too! Not knowing what to do and realizing she was in danger, Oksana did the only thing she could think of; she screamed.

Her scream was like nothing the bear had ever heard before or ever wanted to hear. It was loud, piercing, and plainly awful. The bear groaned and ran, stumbling over things that didn't exist. All it wanted was to get away from the awful sound. Pax was dizzied too, but his paws kept him on his tree and he didn't fall.

By this time Oksana's pack had been searching frantically for her and was near enough to hear her cry. Still half a mile away, they were unaffected by her cry but came running. When they saw how disoriented Pax was and heard Oksana's story, they immediately knew that she had a rare gift and could be very useful... and that was when they became corrupt. Having two orphan pups with powers was just too good to be true, and they decided they could become an even more powerful pack than before and planned to attack and steal and ravage the lands until they were the most powerful wolves alive.

Oksana never talks much about the events that followed and only ever revealed a little about it. At seven months old Oksana and Pax were taken from their corrupt pack by a trio of wolves who saw Pax's bravery and Oksana's innocence and didn't want their lives to be ruined by the power-hungry wolves they had lived with. As the other mini pack destroyed itself, Oksana's new family tried to keep from her the fact that those she used to call families--the very ones who had adopted her when her parents died--had lost all sense of order and were killing each other. Oksana never talks about the day she found out.

Much more happened, but Oksana only laughs at those who try to get her to talk about it. Although she'll make it a game ("I'll tell you if you do this, this, this and this for me... oh, and find five shards of magic"), there is always a hint of sadness in Oksana's eyes when someone mentions it. She was once heard saying to another wolf, "I didn't realize it then, but that trio sacrificed a lot for my safety, more than I could have ever repaid them. Ever." Those three dedicated their lives to teaching Pax and Oksana and running away from the remainders of the corrupted ones, doing everything and sacrificing so much to keep the pups safe from them. Some say one of the trio even had relatives in the corrupt pack and had to fight them to the death. Oksana loved the wolves in that trio as much as she loves Pax, though in a different way. Many believe that one of the trio had wings and another was extremely fast, hence her favoritism towards such wolves. Some have heard that the third member of the trio was a green female, but others claim they heard Oksana say it was a sandy-red male, while still others heard it was a deadly maroon-ish female.

Pax and Oksana never revealed when they left the trio, but at the age of one and a half (for Oksana--Pax was a little older), the duo wandered onto the territory of the South Pack. They met up with a group of cautious hunters who questioned them thoroughly. They found Pax to be brave and protective and Oksana to be honest, and so they asked them if they had any desire to join a pack. Oksana and Pax barely thought twice about their answer, and within a week they were integrated into the South pack as Omegas. Both Pax and Oksana dreamed of being important wolves and worked furiously hard to earn the position of Epsilon. At the age of four Pax and Oksana were promoted to Gamma rank, Oksana for outstanding hunting and Pax for his incredible warrior skills. Oksana was overjoyed and thought she was totally satisfied with life; she and her best friend had made up for the mistakes of the past and had earned the right and abilities to help others. She thought things couldn't get better. Then, six months ago, Pax asked her to be his mate. That was the happiest day of her life, and ever since then Oksana has been positive and outgoing, so long as Pax is at her side. When he's not around she's a bit more calm (though still just as stubborn), but she prefers having him around constantly. Yes, even after six months, the two stick together like glue. Then again, they've always been together.

Oksana was always learning, always growing, and always being where everything was happening. She hunted extra when possible and tried to constantly challenge herself. She jumped social barriers and always talked to Omegas the same way she talked to her fellow Gammas, unless the Omegas were treacherous or untrustworthy. No matter how naturally violent a wolf’s powers were, Oksana never seemed scared or even put off by them. Oksana is thriving with her pack and is quite curious about powers and how they work. She’s loyal to the death to her mate, her Alpha and her pack—in that order—and plans to someday become the best Gamma hunter there is. When she and Pax work together, they can do almost anything.

Oksana has always been curious about the wolf called Dayhl. She seems to think Dayhl has a faint resemblance to someone she once knew...

Appearance:

Remember This?

* sniff sniff* All Grown Up

Despite being in the South Pack, and likely because of lack of nutrition at a young age, Oksana is small and built for speed instead of strength. She isn't even particularly physically strong for her size, but her power makes up for that.

Powers:

Oksana’s sound powers can be divided up into Confusion, Pain, and Painful Memories/Doubts. Each of her powers can be affected differently by the sound she uses. Below are the most common ones:

Howl---Range of effect can be up to one mile with howl, but this is much work for Oksana and often leaves her without voice. Normally it is about five-hundred feet. The wolves closest to her are affected the worst. Howl is one of her most powerful ways to affect others, and the effects can last up to an hour after she uses it. It lasts longer on weak, injured and very young or very old wolves. As time wears on, the after-effects will become less frequent until the hour is up (if they last that long).

Bark---Barks have a short range of only fifty feet, but are much more piercing and sudden than howl. They can get as strong as howl, but doubly fast. However, they do not leave long-term after effects on others. Barks tend to be most painful and/or surprising short-term and of course Oksana can repeatedly bark. While using her power, she can only bark sixty or so times in a day or her voice leaves her.

Whine---Whining is the weakest and shortest-ranged way Oksana can affect others. She usually uses this as a warning or as a demonstration to pups or others who want to feel the effects of her powers. Can effect others up to twenty feet, but very weakly in the last five feet. Can't do any permanent damage, and has no after-effect.

Growl---Growling for Oksana is like boiling or gurgling water; the bubbles form, get bigger, rise to the surface in intensity and then are suddenly gone. That is how Oksana's effects work with growl; a wolf will start to feel the effect and it will intensify for a second or two, and then it will be gone. However, just like boiling water, Oksana is able to make more than one 'bubble' rise to the top at once. Growling is strongest if she is within ten feet of another wolf, but can effect others up to thirty feet on windless days.

Scream---Scream is much like howl, but with a few differences; scream is far more intense than howl. It can reach up to half a mile, and up close it is a nightmare to hear. It intensifies any effect by almost double. However, it leaves NO after-effects (except that a wolf could possibly go unconscious after hearing scream).

Abilities: For all of Oksana's abilities, the player can decide what effects their wolves. I expect no one to take advantage of this and make their wolves invincible, so I give them the power over their wolves' strength. Keep in mind, No wolf is immune to Oksana unless through special powers of theirs, and stronger mid-aged wolves will be less effected than weaker, old or young wolves. Pups are in danger of death if next to her when she uses howl or scream.

1. Confusion: This ability can cause any or all of the following effects on a wolf: Messed up five senses, temporary paranoia, loss of muscle memory, inability to remember vital information (such as how to dodge a charging wolf), loss of feeling in limbs, small hallucinations, dizziness, extreme anger/sadness, or random memories.

2. Pain: This ability can cause any or all of the following pains on a wolf: terrible headache, a choked feeling (feeling like you can't breathe), a chest/heart pain, a burning pain, a sharp pain, or stomach pain (often causing the victim to throw up).

3. Painful flashbacks, memories or doubts: This is Oksana's most complicated ability. When she uses it, victims will suddenly see terrible things that happened to them or their family. It could even be things they'd never actually seen but knew to be true: for instance, if a wolf knew his father had died but he never saw his father die, he could hallucinate a flashback of his father dying in front of him (in the way he fears it happened). If a wolf has no very painful memories, she may see things that she dreads, such as refusal from a mate, rejection from family or disappointment from an Alpha. These flashbacks and hallucinations seem very real and it's very hard to see anything else while they are occurring.

Note that even if a wolf somehow plugged their ears, they would be affected by Oksana's powers. It travels in waves which grow weaker with distance, so distance is basically what matters (unless a wolf has some wave-reflecting substance or something). Oksana is immune to her own voice. Other wolves cannot form immunities to her voice (unless it's their power to do so).

Drawbacks: Oksana has limited voice, there are range limits to all of her abilities, and she can't choose any specifics (such as which flashbacks a wolf would see, or what pain they would feel). She also can't aim, so these powers are useless when she's hunting with other wolves because she could harm the others.

Pack: South

Desired Rank and Position: Gamma Hunter

Rank and Position:

Other: Oksana is Pax's mate and has been for six months now!

Username: crypticsoul

Character name: Pax

Gender: Male

Age: 5 years and 2 months

Personality: Wild, headstrong and rough, Pax is a bold, uncontrollable, charismatic mess. He simply must speak his mind at all times, strives to always make his presence known and will do anything to know Oksana is paying attention to him. Oh yes, he simply adores his beautiful mate and he won’t hide it, no matter who is looking or what the situation is, and has been known to nip at her tail or ears at the most inappropriate of times. Pax is very protective of her, though, and the minute he thinks someone is threatening her, he’s in full warrior mode. He’ll bite and snap at anyone who he deems a threat to his mate, usually going for their snout or eyes. In that respect, he’s a bit brutish and foul-tempered, unafraid to lash out but, normally, he’s quite civil (Oksana has done a lot to mellow him out).

Pax is very much a male, strong and highly opinionated, and a powerful warrior. It was his dream as a small pup to be where he his know and Pax takes his position very seriously, training hard and never missing an opportunity to improve himself. He keeps himself somewhat hidden, not getting close to other wolves and only shows his softer side to Oksana, the rest of the world getting the hard-hearted, slightly-mistrustful warrior. Pax doesn’t take to pups easily and he tries to avoid them but he will help watch over them as long as someone else is present.

History: Like Oksana, Pax doesn’t speak about the majority of his young life, that is, if he speaks about his life at all. Pax is very private when it comes to the things he now understands about his past, which is why he and Oksana created the story they did. It was just easier that way.

Pax was born in a liter of four, one stillborn, one dead of starvation soon after their birth, and the other alive somewhere in the world-or so Pax assumes. His only sister, a little runt of a thing, went unfed by their mother, who deemed her weak and undeserving and she was never even given a name. Pax remembers her only for her soft whines, which he remembers penetrating his dreams at night, and the pathetic way she looked when she died. He doesn’t speak of her. When he was three months old, Pax’s father left with brother, taking him far away, leaving Pax to his insane mother. She became estranged after that, sometimes going days without talking to him, and he often saw her muttering to herself as she paced about the borders of their little pack’s territory. Eventually, she completely abandoned him to the nursery wolves, which turned out for the best, for that is where he met Oksana.

At eight months old, he and the female pup Oksana, who was just a few months his younger, slipped from the nursery den unnoticed. He was tired of them, bored of them and the way they treated Oksana and himself, so he felt no guilt for breaking the rules. The two pups ran, laughing and challenging each other to simple games, not paying an ounce of attention to where they were going. When the sun set and Oksana grew concerned, for they were far from their home, Pax shrugged off her worries. What did it matter? If the nursery wolves wanted them back, they would come looking for them and, until then, Pax was quite content to continue on their adventure. When night was finally upon them, Pax found them a place to sleep and snuggled up beside Oksana, overjoyed to spend their first night out of the den. That morning, Pax woke before Oksana and had started off with the intent of finding some breakfast but a terrible, strange creature lumbered out from the bushes. He blinked, never having seen a bear before, and let out a yelp of surprise when the thing lunged for him. What was worse, it started chasing him! Pax desperately ran up a tree, his sticky paws clinging to the bark, but the thing followed him right up! Oh no! No, it was going to eat him! It was then that Oksana’s terrified scream reached his ears and he felt instantly dizzy, disoriented and scared. He clung to the branch with all his might, barely noticing the bear running away. He made his way back down, unsteady on his paws, and looked to Oksana. By then, the pack at found her.

A month later, he and Oksana were taken from their pack by three wolves that Pax never talks about and they only refer to them as the trio. They protected them, sacrificed their safety for theirs and, for that, Pax his honestly grateful. He still believes in one day repaying them. At a little over one and a half, Pax and Oksana came upon the Southern pack and, while he was weary of joining them at first, they offered them a home and he knew he couldn’t refuse. They started as Omegas and, while rank never mattered much to Pax, he knew this was finally their chance. So, with Oksana at his side, he worked to become the warrior he’d always dreamed of. At a little over four years old, he was promoted to Gamma, alongside his best friend, and he had finally become a warrior.

He continued to train, to grow and become stronger, and it wasn’t long before he was getting the praise he’d long desired. He rose quickly and became a respected warrior, a wolf that others looked up too and sought training advice from but this frightened him at first. He’d never been one for teaching and he certainly wasn’t used to other wolves wanting his advice but he adapted and he’s not the awkward teacher he used to be. Pax, no longer the abandoned pup he’d used to be, finally had everything he’d ever remembered wanting. Well…except for one thing and that was why, six months ago when Gammas were given permission, Pax had taken Oksana has his mate. Nowadays, he remains utterly loyal to his mate, his Alpha and his pack, something he never thought he’d have, and he strives to make each day better for them. He’s really a caring male, underneath it all, and he’s glad the packs are coming together. He only hopes things will work out.

Appearance: Past: [x]

Present: [x] Pax has grown immensely, especially given the pup he used to be and now stands at a height equal to most of the males in his pack. He is built for power, lean and muscled, but he’s fast when he needs to be. He tends to leave the speed up to his mate. Pax’s fur is course, thick and dark black, with shades of rich brown melted through it. His dark eyes have lightened up over the years and his baby features have all but melted away, giving way to the sharp features of the warrior he’s become.

Power: Spider

Abilities

- Cling: The pads on Pax’s paws are built for sticking to things and he uses that to his advantage. He can walk up a tree, across the underside of a branch, or right up the side of a mountain is he should so please. He always sticks his landing and he never stumbles or skids. The stickiness of his paws pads depends on how much energy he puts into it.

- Web: Pax can create a web of power that can trap his enemies. He can either form it around them or, if he wanted to be sneaky, he could lay the web out and wait to trap them. Like a spider’s, the web is sticky and would cling to whoever were to get trapped in it. The web, once stuck to a wolf, would slowly suck out their energy. The web, however, is rendered useless in water, which is the only way to remove it. Interestingly enough, Pax can shoot the web from his mouth or just build it up around his enemy, using his mind. The web takes no effect on wolves with water-based abilities and, if Pax it too weak, he can’t create the web.

- Stingers: Pax’s newest ability. The fur on the back of his neck, his tail and his paws can become stiff and hard, like the barbed stingers on a spider’s body, which he can then use to attack his enemy. Pax hasn’t learned to throw them yet (though one time he did bite them out and spit them into the face of a loner that was threatening Oksana) but it’s something he’s training to master. These stingers are also weakened by water or water-based abilities. Pax can also make them appear or disappear.

Pack: South

Rank and Position: Gamma, Warrior

Username: Rakashua

Name: Ronan

Age: 5yrs (HtM age at which wolves did not live as long… so I’m changing his actual age in SM to 12years) (10 before HtM ended)

Gender: Male

Power: Sand control (plain and simple). He has the ability to control sand on the molecular level. He can form it out of rocks given enough time, he can manipulate it and move it around; you know; simple stuff like that. He can create sand storms (including the gusty winds). His great weakness is water, he utterly hates getting wet or water of any kind (well he does have to drink it… but only once every week or so). For more info on the abilities and weaknesses see the next section.

Abilities:

Can’t Touch This : Ronan can manipulate sand in a defensive shield on any or all sides of himself to deflect incoming physical attacks. This defense is extremely strong considering that sand is hard and dense, hitting his shield is like hitting a brick wall or cement, it doesn’t yield. Shielding himself is second nature to Ronan and he hardly has to concentrate or think about it anymore, what is harder is using it in an offensive manner. Sand is a natural shield, but as an offensive weapon it is slow and moving it very far away from his body is tiring, like carrying a heavy burden. Therefore it’s virtually useless as an attack unless his opponent is dumb enough to get too close. This is due to the fact that, while slow, the sand is very strong, especially close to his body, if one were to set foot near him they would have to be careful not to step in his sand, or he could grab their foot like stepping into instantly drying cement and hold them in place. Even encasing and smothering them.

Changes since the events of HtM His shield and control of large amounts of sand is no longer as slow as it once was. The further away from his body the slower it becomes, but he is now used to manipulating large amounts of it from his time in the desert and is far better with control.

From Dust to Dust…. Erm… Sand? The sand shield is nice for protection, but it’s a pain to have to bring it everywhere, and it makes attacking more difficult because all focus must be on the shield. The plus side is that he can create very large shields even walls of defense, but it limits his movement and ability to attack even more. When it’s time for blood to be shed Ronan has a second trick up his sleeve. His body can dissolve into sand itself and blow through the wind, allowing him to travel around without touching the ground. He has no definite shape while in this form and therefore physical attacks are pretty much pointless, however, he must be extremely careful because if he were to accidently past through mist or be splashed with water his body would get wet (the sand that is) and he would have to wait for it to dry before he could either move, or return to his wolf form. He is also vulnerable to wind while in this form, because he can be blown in all directions and not be able to return to his normal self until all the sand grains (or most of them) return back together and meet up to form him. He can also be affected by mental attacks as his psyche is moving along with the sand itself.

This is useful for movement, but it also has a use in combat. While in this form Ronan can manipulate the sand, moving it about in a large group like a sand storm, though not nearly that size. If someone enters or he catches up to them and places them in this miniature storm he can attack them from any direction and any location, taking his original form part way enough to bite, claw, or tackle his opponent before dissolving again into the rest of the sand in the blink of an eye (like being in the middle of a thousand stinging bees, he can inflict minor injuries repeatedly on anything that enters the sand storm. While in this form water is not fatal because he is controlling so much of the sand, but getting wet would force him to retake his original form and if the sand gets wet he would be completely unable to control it.

Changes since the events of HtM: Since the events of HtM Ronan has found that when his body is in its sand state, he can reform himself with any sand that is around him, it doesn’t have to be the sand he originally dissolved into.

Sand Demon Ronan’ ultimate ability is to create copies of himself out of sand. His copies are able to use his shield, and his dust to dust storm, however, this requires a great amount of sand and takes a lot of stamina to maintain. Creating the sand demons, which take on his color, shape, and smell from the sand, is not hard, or taxing. But every time they use an ability or attack it is Ronan’ true body that the energy is drained from. When this ability is used Ronan’ eyes glow red as well as those of the demons and everything that they see he sees, allowing him to react to something that one of them saw that he was unaware of. This can be further used to create a single sand demon and sent it on scouting missions in his place. He merely takes a nap (or tries to) as the demon roves around and he uses its eyes as if they were his own. The further the demon goes and the more power it uses the faster Ronan’ energy is drained. The sand demons, unlike the shield or sand barrier, are not extremely dense. A good kick (a strong kick) bolt of lightning, or whatever, will cause them to dissolve back into sand. On the other hand the same thing goes for their sand as goes for the sand around Ronan himself, it can be used like super glue to grab and hold an enemy in place. Also, it’s all but impossible to tell the real Ronan from his sand demons, (at least on the physical level) and therefore you’re taking your chances anyways.

Because of this Ronan is often half asleep in his den while a demon goes out in his form and does his work for him, though he has to work at maintaining it.

Changes since the events of HtM: Ronan is now used to manipulating up to six sand demons at once without being hindered by the splitting of his concentration as much as before.

Changes since the events of HtM Ronan is still VERY hindered by water, but has since learned to use sand to break rocks into pebbles and pebbles into more sand for him to use, allowing him to find sand wherever there are stones.

Side Effects Because Ronan carries around two hundred pounds of sand (which is not a huge amount lol that stuff is HEAVY!), under his fur, it has the same effect on his body as wearing weighted clothing. He is slower than most, and definitely heavier than any wolf, weighing in at almost five hundred pounds total on a dry day. Because of this he has grown a lot of muscle bulk because anywhere he goes and anything he does is like lifting weights; therefore, when he is using a skill (IE: the sand is out of his fur and he’s not weighed down), his body feels very light to him and his muscles can propel him at great speed, he can leap twice as high as the average wolf and is at least twice as strong. With the sand he looks bulky and muscled like a brute, but without it he looks bulky and muscled as well but also trim and toned. He is larger than most wolves as well, even equaling Zeus, the lighting brute in size. On the other hand this doesn’t really help him in fighting at all, because the sand itself is rather slow, and while it can move very quickly while close to his body (like the shield), most of his skills require him to be slow and stay in one place, almost never moving at high speed. (he’s definitely not going to chase you if you run away lol, something that he gets very annoyed with). The sand directly under his fur also forms a sort of last layer of defense, a body armor that absorbs physical attacks if somehow someone penetrates his shield or takes him by surprise.

Changes since the events of HtM: he is no longer hampered by his sand to the same extent, his movements are more fluid and quick now that he has lived so many years with it as a burden his body has adapted.

History:

This history of Ronan will only cover the two years following HtM and will not cover anything prior, for prior history please see the HtM topic with his profile there.

Ronan, the sand wolf with a heart of gold and a mind of steel. He would have loved to be in Zeus’ position to speak to the Star Wolf when she had arrived, unfortunately he was dead… Yes, very much a drag in his mind as he lay there, somehow able to listen to what was going on. It seemed that “mother nature” as she was, had very similar views to himself. For those of you who know Ronan, you may have wondered how he ended up on the dead list, or more specifically why he hadn’t survived until the end.

As he watched the battle around him, he stopped, chaos unfolding in all directions, wolves dying and maiming one another left and right, and he suddenly felt no obligation to fight for either pack. He couldn’t bring himself to harm the blessed who he viewed were in the right, nor the wicked that he had lived with for so long. For a whole day he sat on the midst of the battlefield, protected by his sand to the point that everyone was just ignoring him. He watched, and came to the conclusion that both sides were wrong, because fighting wasn’t the way to solve this issue. They had started with good motives, the blessed at least but now everyone had blood in their eyes. The death of friends and family had taken its toll and rage overwhelmed them. No one was fighting for a crystal anymore, they were fighting to fight and to have revenge, they were fighting in the hopes of dying like their loved ones, and not having to bear a life without them. He watched his brother die, he watched Jin and Yui meet in battle and leave one another mortally wounded, they made their peace in the end, as they lay dying side by side, brother and sister. He decided he had seen enough and lowered his defenses, attacked by those blinded by their desire to kill and protect, he didn’t feel their blows, and the next thing he knew he was waking to the Star Wolf’s summons, being returned to his battered body, now healed. He was grateful, he didn’t want to remember….

For two years he walked the dusty sandy paths of the desert, providing food and shelter to those he came across now and then, but never speaking, he didn’t say a word in those two years, he was too busy thinking. He had a brother who had disappeared, blood in his sand that was unfamiliar to him, and a great sense of loss and longing that he couldn’t place. And so he walked, for two years, back and forth across the desert. He became a legend, a demigod to the wasteland packs who said the entire desert shifted with his steps, walking with him. And with him he took a pack of sand demons, parts of his personality and memory speaking to him constantly, all trying to sort out what had happened to everyone he knew, and every-time he looked up at the moon at night, he had the strangest sensation that he was being watched.

Eventually he felt called away from his wandering by a small sad voice. Something he couldn’t identify, that lead him from the desert and back into the lands of green and blue, now recovered from their desolation for the most part. He walked for a month; lead by a whimsical notion that he was sure didn’t come from himself. Until he came upon the mountain. Such strong feelings overwhelmed him at seeing it, but he couldn’t remember why! Nameless faces, nameless horrors, scattered thoughts without meaning, he couldn’t remember. Eventually he came to the outskirts of the wolf camp….

Alliance: Loner

Position: n/a

Username: Shiny Hazard Sign

Character Name: Talcore

Gender: Male

Age: Nine years

Personality: Like most of his life, Talcore has been a silent, reserved wolf, taking more to observing others than actually interacting. While he appears more solitary, he prefers to have company, though he doesn't speak often and opts to listen rather than to discuss. He is gentle for the most part, though it is rather difficult to make out his emotions either through the tone of his voice or his actions; an expert warrior, Talcore knows how to perfectly hide away his feelings as to not let them interfere. They had become a nuisance in the past, and he had no time to bother with them. He is a very guarded, stoic wolf, almost unfazed by anything at all. It would take a huge surprise to stir much of a reaction from him.

History: Talcore's mother, Talena, had been raped by a black winged wolf when she was young. That black wolf later became the leader of the wolves who called themselves the Wicked, and split off from the others because of his greed for power. When Talcore and his sister were born, Talena raised them as loners and made sure to teach everything she could to Talcore about protecting others- naming her precious daughter, whom she loved so. Because Talcore's wings often reminded her of her perpetrator, she never showed the same love for him as she did his sister. Nonetheless, Talcore loved both of them, and devoted his time into learning and doing as much for his small family as he could.

When Talena and her pups were caught in the middle of a brutal battle, Talcore was unable to save his sister from being murdered. He flew away in shock, later to be saved by the pack of wolves who called themselves the Blessed. Talena lived, but moved elsewhere. Talcore continually blamed himself for what happened to his sister and mother (whom he supposed was dead), but under the care of his new guardians, he trained to the best of his ability to become the wolf he should have been back on the battle field. From the loss of his family, he was a bit distant, but the warm hearts of Zeus and his kin helped mend Talcore's broken heart a little. He became a respected warrior among the ranks, nearly up to Beta status, had there been a position open.

When the tragedy occurred, Talcore was more preoccupied in protecting Tanis and the pups than anything else. He flew ceasely through the skies, intercepting attacks from the enemies to safe his loved ones from hurt. After whisking away the young pups to a different location in the mountains, Talcore returned to find a Wicked wolf lunging for Tanis. In a blind attempt to save her, the winged wolf dropped like an arrow onto the spine of the enemy from high above. The impact killed both the Wicked and Talcore by breaking their necks.

When Talcore was resurrected by the Star Wolf, he found himself placed in the same area he had dropped off the pups in the mountains. He could not find them, even after days of scouring the mountain sides. When finally he came to terms that they were gone, he turned back to see the smoldering, gruesome disaster that had once been his home. He did not recognize it at all, and so without hesitation turned and made his way through the mountain peaks for whatever lay on the other side. He spent two years in the mountains, never wanting to leave, but truly never wanting to stay. It was only until recently that Talcore took up the journey to see if he could find anyone that had survived, even if he had sworn against them before.

Appearance: {x} (Note: Talcore has a different appearance in SM than he did in HtM. Older characters will not notice this change, act as if he had always appeared as such). Talcore's body is tall, almost competing with Ronan in height, but he is slim and lanky, possessing lean and dense muscle only in the appropriate areas. He appears to have no fatty tissues, though it is well hidden mostly beneath the thick scruff around his neck. His coat is a silver white, peppered in steel-gray and a few shades of light blue, though these are mostly unnoticeable besides his tail. His wings are massive, easily reaching a span of sixteen feet when fully stretched out. The main feathers are a pearly white with a faint sheen of silver, though the smaller feathers near the top portion of the wings are a bright, iridescent blue and turquoise. In the sunlight those feathers will shimmer like brilliant metallic scales. Talcore's eyes are a rich amber, boarding on ruby.

Powers: Wings;

Since he was born, Talcore possessed a grand pair of wings that enabled him to fly like a bird. He is a master of the skies, able to ride just about every wind current, and also is apt at sailing storms.

-Steel feathers: Due to their massive size, Talcore's wings can easily fold around himself or close in front of him and another wolf like a shield. The feathers harden into a metal-like consistency, which allows him to utilize his wings as an effective barrier. This is rather difficult to use while in the air, due to the fact that his wings will become very heavy and almost useless for flight.

-Similar to his first ability with his wings (besides flight, of course), Talcore is able to harden the large end feathers of his wings into blades of steel-like quality. Typically this is most effective when he is flying, since he can use his speed in air to allow for his wings to slice through different objects. He has taken the tops off of trees this way before and ripped into various enemies, but it will not work against stone or anything so thick that it cannot be cut in one blow. These blades are dangerous and can hurt him if he brings his wings in too close, so he must wait a few moments after using this ability to wait for the feathers to return to their natural state before he can bring his wings closer to his body.

Pack: Loner

Desired Rank and Position: Probably a Gamma Warrior, later.

Rank and Position: n/a

Other: Like Ronan, he is a big softie for pups, though he tries not to show this. They remind him of his lost sister and of the pups Pax and Oksana, whom he had been hoping to adopt before they disappeared.

Username: Dr. Paine

Character Name: Doug

Gender: Male

Age: Six years

Personality:

Original:Very lonely, Doug would be almost completely at a loss for what to do if another wolf actually tried to befriend him. He's actually not bad with crowds, often simply being ignored by others. While Doug has trouble forming bonds with others, he will be intensely loyal to those who do put up with him, even if they don't exactly care for him.

His experiences with non-existence have led him to become extremely thoughtful, and he becomes surprisingly animated when engaged in conversations about the nature of reality, the world, things like that. His mind seems rather scattered most of the time, and he's prone to fits of detachment from reality to varying degrees- it might just manifest as periods of confusion, or he could have full blown panic attacks (note: being around others will greatly decrease how often this happens). Hunting- be it trying to find a deer or another wolf- is something he seems to truly enjoy, and it's often when you'll find him as close to normal as he'll ever be.

Updated: For the past two years, Doug has been happier than he can ever remember, even if he is troubled by a number of gaps in his recollection. Perhaps it's just been wandering the mountains with Shadow (whom he is happy to take orders from), or it's that it feels as if some part of him has been healed... whatever it is, he's started to come out of his shell a bit more. And while there has not been much new damage done to his mind, the damage that was already done remains. There are still periods of time where Doug will become intensely paranoid or terrified, absolutely inconsolable until he manages to snap out of it.

History:

Early life.

Born into a small pack in the far Northeast of Araelia, by all accounts, Doug had a happy first few months of life. He was doted on by the others of the pack, as he was the first and only pup to be born in a few years, and he was taught well. However, when he reached four months, things began to go downhill.

It was small, at first. Doug would suddenly wake during the night, panting and yelping and feeling as if he were about to die, though he was unable to understand just what caused the panic. Aside from some sleep deprivation, things continued as normal, for about a month.

It was a warm day, and time for the pack to move to a different area, most of the small prey had been hunted out, and they tried to avoid taking from the claimed lands as much as possible. The adults had left early in the morning, thinking they had everyone present... but they didn't. Doug woke late that afternoon to find the camp abandoned, and his first reaction was to run in a random direction, yelping his little head off. It was an immense stroke of luck that one of the nameless band found him, and brought him home.

Forgotten.

That was not the only time Doug was accidentally abandoned. As time went on, others often seemed to forget Doug- an adult that promised to help teach him to hunt would leave without him, he would not be invited to eat at the occasional large kill, or he would simply wander off and grow completely lost for quite some time, and no one would be able to find him.

He was a year and a half old when this happened for the final time- his pack had moved again, and left him behind. Rather than try to find his way back, Doug decided it would be easier on everyone if he simply went off on his own. It was also around this time that Doug's strongest power began to manifest- sometimes when he was resting, or his mind wandered, things would... vanish. He would snap back only moments later, but the time of nothing would seem like forever. The more it happened, the more it seemed to wear away at his mind, until he seemed to always be a little out of his mind.

It wasn't until he was three that he learned he could exert some control over this, it was entirely by accident, when he accidentally wandered into another loner's territory. The other wolf tried to attack, but when Doug fell into another moment of nothing, the other followed. When they came back, the other wolf fled, clearly terrified by what he had experienced. Doug fled as well, unknowingly straying into the lands of the Blessed pack.

He lived in hiding for a while, trying to work up the nerve to approach the pack and ask- if not outright beg- for a place, even if he was at the complete bottom of the heap. He did end up becoming a member, and while he was never exactly well known by the others, he was happy to be part of a group. That loyalty to the Blessed wolves led him to fight in the great war. He didn't get far- a battle with a Wicked wolf led to the both of them dying due to his power.

To Doug, however, it seemed only as if he had passed out. When he awoke, he was somewhere in the mountains, though for the life of him he couldn't remember how he got there. He could only remember being alone for a long time, finding a pack, then... something bad happening. He gave up trying to remember fairly quickly, simply trying to eek out a living in the mountains alone until he ran into Shadow, and the two have slowly been making their way down the slopes since.

Appearance: Very scrawny, with unusually long limbs. Fur is snow white, though it's often so matted with dirt and such that it's hard to tell. Eyes are pale blue and rather wide, giving him a permanently frightened look... which is pretty spot on. He isn't the strongest wolf in the world, but he is quite fast, and somewhat able to hold his own in a fight (though he'll bolt at the first opportunity.)

Powers: Oblivion.

Abilities:

'It's like when you fancy someone...' A simple enough ability, one he often uses without even meaning to. Doug simply seems to be forgotten, by wolves and animals alike, allowing him to flee or hunt with less difficulty than the average wolf. It's not quite invisibility- he is there, plain as day. However, if he avoids drawing attention, he's as good as gone. Others will simply look slightly to the side of him, his scent will be as if it were days old, even powers used to find others have a greater difficulty picking up on him (though they're more likely than most to find him.) This is not foolproof- should he draw attention to himself in any way- making noise, speaking, or touching another wolf- he will be as visible as any other creature.

You'd forget how to breathe... An ability he has now started to gain some mastery of. If Doug concentrates hard, he can quite literally make an animal forget how to breathe. Or run. Or... anything, really, but vital functions are much harder to null. It is strictly a supportive measure though, as it will only last for a few seconds to a minute on anything larger than a rabbit. He has never mastered stopping processes like heartbeat or brain function, he's best at making prey forget to run.

A piece of the world is missing. Doug's final ability is by far the strongest, though for the past two years, he's found it impossible to use unless he's in fear for his life. Any wolf in his sight, friend or foe, will see what he has seen flashes of all this life- oblivion. For barely a second, they are all enveloped in a complete lack of everything. For that time, there is no light. No sound. No feeling. No color, no scent, not even darkness and light. Others witnessing this would simply see the world flicker, if they even noticed at all.

But those who were in the void would be changed. Perhaps not permanently, perhaps it would cause some sort of existential crisis. But the shock of going between nothing and everything in such a short time (though to them, it could and would be an eternity) causes extreme disorientation, if not outright fainting. (If you've ever read 'The Jaunt' by Stephen King, the state is very much like what happens if you stayed awake. ... however, the insane aging does not have to happen x3). This gives him a chance to flee the scene,

The drawback to his power in general is that he is... well, often forgotten (see History), and overlooked by others. He also seems to draw less from the world around him- he can eat and drink twice what the average wolf does and still be extremely hungry and thirsty, even if his belly is full to bursting. Injuries often take longer to register, leaving him prone to infection or minor injuries becoming much more severe.

Pack: Currently loner

Rank and Position: Omega, will try to work up to an Epsilon hunter.

Character Name: Shadow

Gender: Male

Age: 6 and a half.

Personality: Shadow was once known to be the “chewtoy” or the “pushover” in his pack. He was lacking in confidence until the Alpha gave him a chance. Through some events, he came out of his shell a bit and now he wants to show that his will and his morals make up for his lack in physical strength.

History: Shadow, as said before, was known as the “chewtoy”, however he has always wanted to prove himself. He confronted the Alpha one morning and asked for a job. Little did he know, he actually got one, and set out to prove that he could do it, even if it was something simple. He started to socialise, too, and became somewhat close to two other omegas, Whisper and Vincent. He started to see life for what it really was. He still doubted himself, but the other wolves suddenly seemed to support him in their own way. Another wolf, Roshan, fought with him, and Shadow used his “sonic blast” ability for the first time. He was proud of himself and believed he could do anything…

The last thing he remembered before he started anew was that the pack was leading up to something. There was always talk about something important, something that was going to change the land, but no matter how hard Shadow tries, he cannot recall what it was. He was nervous about it, he did not want to take part in it, but it happened, whatever it was, and it changed the land drastically. The one thing he does remember, though, was that he was treated like dirt before it happened.

Now, he wants to prove them wrong. He is strong, he is a good fighter, he can be the Alpha…if that ever happens. Shadow wants to prove that he can do anything, perhaps even influence others to do anything, but he still doubts himself sometimes.

Appearance: A smaller than average wolf, with acidic green eyes that seem to follow you. His fur is a dark grey, with streaks of light grey on his face and legs, and patches of black on his back and tail. His fangs are a brilliant white.

Powers: Wind.

Abilities:

Shadow can manipulate the particles of the air around him, which can be used in various ways to his advantage. His first ability is that he can make the air around him less dense, allowing him to move much faster than he normally would. The drawback of this is that he will get extremely tired, since there is less air to breathe. His second ability is that he can make a shield of extremely dense air cloak his body, meaning that any physical attack will be repelled or dampened. The drawback of this is that Shadow will have to move extremely slow because of the density of the air, and that the strain on his limbs will become unbearable. His third ability is that he can gather air around him and shoot it out again in a sonic blast, which packs a real punch. While this is very powerful, it comes with serious drawbacks; it cannot penetrate thick substances such as rocks, trees, etc., it cannot rise or fall, the enemy must be level with him. It also costs a great deal of physical energy, which can result in him passing out.

Pack: Loner, will join North

Rank and Position: Omega

Other: (Anything that doesn't fit into the above)

I don't think if I could fit in, I'm not a great roleplayer, but I might give it a shot during one of the days...

I wanted to point out a small mistake at your plot, as well:

The second she touched her nose to the stone, she burst into flames, but they died down seconds later.

I think it would be nicer to write "which extinguished" rather than "but they died down", and maybe "she touched the stone using her/with her nose"

The second she touched the stone with her nose, she burst into flames, which extinguished seconds later.

What do you think? Just my two cents about it.

Uh... what happened to the rest of Lucifer's form? blink.gif

And, just to be clear, are the packs merged right now? Are Northern/Southern wolves together at the moment, or are they still in their respective camps (or are they mixed, some wolves at one camp, others at the other camp?)? D:

Packs are currently merged together, and they're all at the mountain camp. (Okay, maybe a few might be around the other camps to maintain them, but all in-play characters are at the mountain camp.)

There x3 Not my best, but I'm satisfied with it. Lucifer reminds me of a wingless, more formal version of Talcore x) she even has a boulder!
