Posted August 31, 2012 Is there any tool that allows me to see how a lineage would look like? http://www.coup-detat.info/NDER/Lineage.php Share this post Link to post

Posted September 13, 2012 I just ran across a Red egg that is fairly close to purebred, I believe? I'm not sure how exactly it should be categorized. I'm incredibly new to any sort of lineages or even really caring at all where my dragons came from lol. http://dragcave.net/lineage/RCqXe so, what do you think? I just picked it up on the AP today. Thanks! Share this post Link to post
Posted September 15, 2012 This isn't a very common lineage to breed or randomly pick up from the AP, but maybe arrowhead lineages should be added to the list? Share this post Link to post
Posted September 22, 2012 Man, I go away a few years and everyone comes up with these crazy lineages. Alas, most of my dragons are messy-lingeage'd. D: Share this post Link to post
Posted September 23, 2012 I picked up 3 Hellfire Wyverns from the AP today. Was planning to used them for zombie fodder. I am still learning about lineages, but these looked like they might have some potential. Could someone please tell me if I should keep and possibly trade them? (And how to describe them?) http://dragcave.net/lineage/isbPK http://dragcave.net/lineage/ZiE4D http://dragcave.net/lineage/7bYYJ Thanks so much! Em Share this post Link to post
Posted September 23, 2012 The second one is a 4th even gen. The others would generally be termed "messy". I doubt you will be able to get anything for them as most users dislike inbreds. Share this post Link to post

As many people frown on inbreds, you probably would not be able to trade them easily. (Though they do look nice. Totally up to you if you want to keep them just because they're pretty.) Posted September 23, 2012 Ah, I didn't notice the inbred part. Thank you both for pointing that out. I appreciate it. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) What is CB? Cave born. Has no lineage, is from one of the biomes on the home page of the site. Example of a CB dragon: http://dragcave.net/lineage/jI6B Edited October 15, 2012 by glamoursea2 Share this post Link to post

Er, what kind of lineage is this? http://dragcave.net/lineage/lt5RZ Thanks so much for replying A tinsel is a rare dragon given out as a prize that cannot be found in the cave. That kind of lineage is an even-gen. Share this post Link to post

Posted November 8, 2012 Just to clarify: The link I gave out is an even-gen? That kind of lineage is an even-gen because it is even on both sides. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 9, 2012 Ah, okay. Thanks! Do u have an example of a rainbow lineage? Share this post Link to post
Posted February 3, 2013 Ah, okay. Thanks! Do u have an example of a rainbow lineage? A very late reply but here are links to two rainbow projects. http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showt...6055&hl=rainbow http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showt...0697&hl=rainbow Both should have examples of rainbow lineages. moonstone, there was a firefly lineage http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showt...9943&hl=firefly that was closed as it was inactive. Posted February 9, 2013 What is this http://www.dragcave.net/lineage/orklh It says 'you cannot seem to find the dragon you're looking for.' If it is a fogged egg, we can't see the lineage to help you. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 11, 2013 Wondering what term, if any, this lineage would be. Definitely not even gen. Click Here Share this post Link to post

Posted February 12, 2013 Ive been working on an insanely difficult lineage for almost a year,& its very close to being finished...but Ive never seen one made from these breeds(as the base breed is a geode)& its only recently been able to breed with OTHER breeds. I geuss nobody has been interested in doing anything with that, but my lineage is HUGE,& almost ALL these eggs had to be bred from scratch, then rebred to partner in "set" & so forth..I havent put the many sets all together yet,but with the "partial lineage" super set in this link..WHAT would this type of lineage be called?(I thought checkerboard, but its kind of different). Please give me a clue what to call this thing(it will all continue in this exact type of breeding throughout rest of the lineage). http://dragcave.net/lineage/sIJXs Thx for the help! Posted February 12, 2013 (edited) Not sure when this common usage changed, but a checker used to be just 2 breeds alternating in a lineage, whereas a mirror was a Perfect Checker, where all one breed was one gender and the other the opposite gender??? The description of mirror given is not really clarifying things for me. Edited February 12, 2013 by Karobb Share this post Link to post
