DC Photography Contest #42

Recommended Posts

Thank you very much for all the votes in the previous competition! ^^

For the new week, the theme will be trees. Young or old, straight or crooked .. There are so many different kind of trees, and they can make very interesting motives indeed!

Good luck!

The Rules:

- One entry per person

- Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

- No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.)

- No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo.

- When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness.

- You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition.

Cute title, Kestra!

Let's see now...

SpectrumTree,

TreeView1, or

TreeView3?

All were taken at USF way back in 2007. (University of South Florida, Tampa)

I'm leaning towards one of the TreeView ones, but any input would be welcomed, please! cool.gif

Very pretty! I just love Fall, and I think this is the perfect photography theme for the month of October- I look forward to seeing a few more pretty fall trees.

Down the dried creek

Wish I could've gotten a picture of it when it wasn't dry, but it still looks nice, with the trees all down the sides.

I took this picture at a local bonsai show at a natural history museum. This is not my tree, but I was given permission for photographs.

Which one should I chose?:

White Tree

Can't decide. They are not very good quality, taken with my DSi.

All 3 are very lovely but I think I like the first 1 best, followed by the second and then the third.
