Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) I really like the marrow and alt sweet 3rd gen the best-- I might work on one of those my self ,if you don't mind and speaking of Marrows 5th gen mixed marrow not bad, considering I don't do a whole lot of planning, this one ended up blue and silver---- I still need one gold to make a pair and I will have all of the current breedable dragons paired with marrows ( should someone be able to breed a Gold from male gold x female marrow I would be happy to find something worthy of a trade- no matter how long it takes-- or may be a Marrow this Halloween-- hmmm might be a good alternate ) Edited October 1, 2012 by dragonpuck Share this post Link to post
Posted October 1, 2012 Been working on a red/green neb checker for closer to a year now and finally i've gotten some green nebs, they just don't want to alt green... let's hope my green luck continues as i need them to produce another 4 green nebs before i can make my 5th gen. http://dragcave.net/lineage/n1OH7 http://dragcave.net/lineage/jEQqN Gonna be a christmas themed lineage and matching this 4th gen (soon-to-be 5th gen, just need one third gen hatchie to grow up and breed a mate for her ) http://dragcave.net/lineage/NPWWK thinking about making a second inverted 5th gen (fem tropicals/male sunstones) and then breeding them together. think it could be neat. I love even-gen checkers X3 thinking about starting a blusang checker, but not sure which mate to go with... Share this post Link to post

If you decide to do male Blusang x female Tan Ridgewing, we should do blood-swaps. xP Share this post Link to post
Posted October 2, 2012 As always there is so much eye candy that gives so many ideas, and I give congrats to all who work on these lineages and show them to us. lilysally, I must especially comment on your http://dragcave.net/lineage/5lkCo, thank you so very much for showing it. You have given inspiration for working with Marrows that are not true checkerboard. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Hooray, bred the first White 3rd gen for my massive rainbow lineage! I also have Purple, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow1 and Yellow2 3rd gens waiting for mates. Yay progress. Edited October 2, 2012 by Amazon_warrior Share this post Link to post

Posted October 3, 2012 I finally found something my Dorkface would make nice eggs with. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 3, 2012 Almost perfect... almost perfect. Went hunting through my scroll and found a few long lost lineages I forgot about, including that one. <3 Share this post Link to post

D: EDIT2: Tried to rebreed the other pair and they ave me a neo egg! so it worked out quite well Edited October 3, 2012 by afie Share this post Link to post
Posted October 4, 2012 I just got my first self bred red dorsal http://dragcave.net/lineage/bdM5f and these two did NOT refuse~ http://dragcave.net/lineage/3EYYG http://dragcave.net/lineage/RneFZ Share this post Link to post
Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) Had a good breeding session this morning, bred four eggs for my two EG Rainbow projects, including this, which I've been trying to breed for a little while. Now I just have to get a Magma from this pair and I'll have all the 3rd gens I need for my Double-Gaia Rainbow. ETA: Was looking through my higher-gen dragons and discovered that this pairing is free from inbreeding. Unfortunately they didn't give an egg this time (curses crappy Tinsel breeding), but I think I'll keep at 'em until they give me an egg. Posted October 4, 2012 Finally got a mate for one of my dorsals, and i got a pretty baby too: http://dragcave.net/lineage/to33n Share this post Link to post

I'm happy that people continue even gen breeding with my offspring. Edit: Finally got a mate for one of my dorsals, and i got a pretty baby too: http://dragcave.net/lineage/to33n I don't understand where that 2nd gen alt Sweetling comes from. I thought all offspring were pink? Edited October 4, 2012 by lilysally Share this post Link to post

I thought all offspring were pink? Aye, it's such a pretty dragon that it deserves a nice mate. I have to be quite careful with my 6th and 7th gens because there's a lot of potential for accidental inbreeding between them. Regarding the 2nd gen alt Sweetling, iirc there was an alt Sweetling owner with only one adult, and they arranged to get a 2nd gen Sweetling from another alt Sweetling owner during the Valentine breeding season, hence they have one CB and one 2nd gen. Even if they had gotten the Sweetling from the owner of a regular Sweetling, it would have grown up alt on their scroll if they already had one alt, since it is scroll coded. On a totally different subject, what do you think of this? I think I like it -- the colors co-ordinate better than most combinations I have seen. They go beautifully together. <3 I was thinking of doing that as well but didn't have the courage to start up yet another lineage. Share this post Link to post

It is actually the first Blusang lineage that I have liked! The colours go together so well. Share this post Link to post

That is indeed a lovely combo. I've been itching to grab some cb blusangs lately. I really want to see how they look alongside deepseas. Share this post Link to post

Posted October 4, 2012 Hi! I am very happy about this egg, because, as I have already the right mate for it, it is the last step to go for a 6th Gen Thunder/Electric checker. It took more than a year to come to this point, and therefore I am very proud of it. And I want to say thank you to all the nice people who helped me. Here it is: http://dragcave.net/lineage/H7ugS Best regards Aulendil Share this post Link to post
Posted October 5, 2012 i just snagged two awesome names today, and hopefully they will be mates: http://dragcave.net/lineage/61N4g http://dragcave.net/lineage/UAn26 both names are a variation of a "fear of crowds". Share this post Link to post
Posted October 5, 2012 It's been a while since some of my nebula/other breed lineage projects have all decided to give me nebula eggs. Now what are the chances that they will all be the right colour, actually even if only one was the right colour I would be happy. Should be red (this is the one I really want to be the right colour because I have gotten WAAAAAAAY to my sunrise/sunset eggs in the making of just this silly 3rd ten but nebulas don't seem to care to much about that, they do what they want Should be Green Should be blue but so far all of it's siblings have been red Aquamyrine Share this post Link to post
Posted October 5, 2012 *sends colour vibes to Aquamyrine* After my AP-caught stripe rejected her perfect mate I bred for her (she's the second one to have done this, too >.<), I managed to breed another one at my next try. Fingers crossed, I really want to continue this lineage. Share this post Link to post
