Finally able to make some more big progress on the Icy Holiday line now that Halloween has passed. There are enough dragons to finish breeding ten 6th Gens (once winter is back). That's enough for a single 9th Gen and some change.

So, i've been away from DC for... years probably. I've only been on to keep my names and to make the tiniest progress on a long term lineage. But i find i want to come back and get back to dragon-ing. And i want to start on my next 8th gen as a partner for this guy but I'm dragging my feet on getting started. those 128 CB's are so daunting lol

I recently returned to DC after several years, and have a newfound love for lineages. I'm currently working on 3 EG lineages, and planning out a fourth.

 

First one is a personal lineage, a Risensong x Setsong checker. Right now I have 8 CBs (out of the total 32 I'll need), and a single second gen.

 

Next two are for the Encyclopedia Lineage. I'm going to be doing a purebred line of blue baikalas, and a pb line of green baikalas. I currently have 3 blue and 1 green cb, and haven't started breeding anything yet.

 

I've also found this shadow walker and this magma in the AP. I don't know whether I will be breeding the SW, I'm already happy with how that lineage is. But the breeder of the magma offered to breed me a Grave mate for it next Halloween so I can continue the checker (unless the damn hatchling ignores the influence and genders wrong).

I accidentally picked up this girl while hunting the AC for CB horses (dang frills!). Had to keep.

 

Also some how egg-locked myself without realizing it and abandoned an egg I needed ;-; Ah well. It's only a second gen, and at least the pair liked each other.

every single one of those looks good.  even each half.  

i'm not doing anything super fun breeding-wise, but i am trying to catch me some CB holidays of the ones i missed and caught some 2nd gen snows that i think i like.

I nabbed this breeding pair. Thank you so much. I will influence and hope that they gender properly

 

So aside from that note I was wondering if there is anyone out there working on a perfect checker with male sunsong and female white. I have been collecting for them for ever and am finally trying to breed them.

I don't think I can take this a generation further without going insane. Crossing my fingers they'll get along.

 

@Rekha Unfortunately I can't help you with that combo. I'd suggest checking the Checker Database Center *points to sig* if you haven't already.

Thank you for that. I just looked and it is not listed as one so once I get some higher Gen breeding pairs I will put my info in the database as well
