I would only need it for incubating, without really appreciating its gorgeous lineage, so I would gladly give it away for any other red egg with roughly the same amount of time left. (Or less. Or a hatchling. Inbreds are also good for influencing so that's totally OK.) Or if you offer something else, I might also accept. Background: Hubby decided to do a project, which involves vines and blacks. He said he wants all the dragons from 2nd gen on to be alts. OK. He bred 2 eggs, a black and green, from male black and female vine. Green alted, black didn't. But, in the meantime, he decided he really wanted female blacks because he likes the alts better. So he started collecting and breeding male vines/female blacks. OK, so now we get to the question. Is it actually possible to get alts from that combination? He's been breeding over and over again, and has not gotten any alts. It seems that by now he should have gotten at least one alt out of...32 eggs (had to go count). Maybe that first green alt was a fluke, being one out of the first two eggs he bred, I was wondering, as I've sometimes seen people ask about things like this, is it even possible? Was a bit of a joke with a few friends about the ZombieBuster dragons. @daba555 - I don't see why not, just alts might be on an ebb tide right now. Don't see very many in the hatcheries, and think I've noticed more undine and vine than black. Plus it always seems like the one thing you are looking for is the one that eludes you. I don't have a black alt from vine but this one from frill certainly was unexpected though not recent. You would get me to look through my alts, found one that will need a mate this halloween. I could breed a daydream mate and let you have a third gen from them if that would help? Velvet I appreciate the offer but I'm really hoping someone will try the other combo this Halloween. I just pretty much avoid metallic checkers because my dragons don't like to make shinies and Gold checkers are pretty much out of the question for me anyway because of a lack of CB Golds. Put it in a calendar, because these dates don't change: October 10, hatchings for zombie fodder can be born (I've been told, correct me if I'm wrong) October 17, just after midnight, kill fodder for zombies if you want 10 adult kill chances at Halloween October 25, breeding opens and lasts through Halloween October 31, Halloween! At midnight, revive your first 5 kills and kill 5 more and raise any hatchlings you let die for best zombie chances. Catch eggs. Play event. Possibly gather tricks or treats.
