They've yet to produce anything for me though, so it might take awhile. @lorimmel: I can breed a 2nd gen sunsong x silver if you like. My other projects are winding down so I've started a new one: male flamingo x female BBW checker. I just think they look nice together. Like this. It took over thirty eggs to get a red, and I screwed it up in the planning anyway. I think it's time to toss this mess in the trash, and focus on something else. /endrant At least my nebula checker is coming along nice. Have almost enough to build a fifth gen. Get a mate of same lineage, different gender? Breed with any mate? I traded for this good looking gray and didn't realize it was inbred until it was on my scroll, checking potential mates. Felt silly I didn't check for inbreeding before I offered on the trade. It's taken me quite a while to squeeze that egg out of them (longer than getting any of the proper Nebula colors, even) so I'm pretty happy. I am working on a lineage of red nebs and sunsongs, but having trouble getting nebs from them and then trouble getting them to go the right color! I have this pretty, but can't seem to get him a mate! I know your pain! Colorfails are the worst. Embers are uncommon enough that I received about as many Embers as Nebulae thankfully. I just had that one pair that practically hated each other and wouldn't give me eggs. e.e If they hadn't given me an egg this week, I was going to breed a replacement for one of them. :x That pairing is unique and lovely, though!
