Definitely understand you here, they shouldn't *need* all that info when it's not actually needed to get the vaccine in general. (Might not work where you live, but when I scheduled my mom's I checked the 'no insurance' option and she just gave them her insurance info at the pharmacy.)

 

Current thought: I *knew* I should've checked the urgent care place's website before actually going, get there only to find they aren't taking walk-ins only appointments so that was a total waste of time (and considerable effort). Scheduled appt for tomorrow, but.... *pain*.

I made appointments with our primary care office, which already has all that info. Can't get the appointment quite as soon, but I'm not worried about that.

 

"Urgent care" that needs an appointment? That doesn't seem right. I guess it just proves how overloaded our health care system is right now. Sorry you have to deal with the pain another day.

Melatonin? That's like really mild stuff. Get you some Ambien and you'll... either fall asleep quickly or rearrange the furniture one night like my friend did.

Trust me. I've both succumb to and totally defeat a lot of sleep medications. The same ones - depends on how the night goes.

I am really sensitive to medications and also am on a TON of meds already for chronic illnesses (both mental and physical), so to try an avoid any contradiction/interaction, he wants me to try melatonin first and we'll go from there (he ordered a prescription in the hopes insurance will cover it because he likes to try and save me money I guess, even if it is relatively inexpensive over the counter lol) It's a new issue for me, the random insomnia spells, where I am literally awake for a day and a half before my body goes 'oh yeah, sleep, that's a thing' and I crash.

My brain apparently doesn't like math this early in the morning. Also, is it really worth it to calculate exactly when two freezes will come back and use two Stuns on hatchies just to get two more freezies of a Halloween-breed I already have plenty of? But they are so cute! (Witchlight s1  )
