Posted October 10, 2012 Ya know, most language arts teachers I've known are pretty uptight about grammar and spelling. One of them was actually a complete idiot and basically every one of her students knew more about grammar and writing than she did, but that did not stop her from making (incorrect) edits on our papers. But this one, she grades for correct grammar but she knows that language arts in general is not all about periods, commas, and capitalization. Half of the time she doesn't bother to use proper capitalization and she's not afraid to go crazy with the exclamation points. She knows the depth of language arts and the art of writing and reading. Finally, a teacher in my favorite subject whom I can actually admire. Oh, and there was my third grade writing teacher. Taught me everything I know about writing. Taught me how to make teachers swoon when I write. Thanks for that. She was the best <3 I kinda...love school. Makes me feel productive. Like I'm not as useless as I think I am. Gives me something to do. To take my mind off all this. And I can get out of the house. Because lord knows, if I were cooped up in here all day, I would go completely insane.
