I was RPing with my friend over Steam chat and this typo popped up:

 

 

So basically, talk about different things you screwed up in life. Like funny typos, saying something on mistake.

This should be renamed the typo thread.

 

I'm like autocorrect on an iPhone. I sometimes accidentally type words I use often.

 

As in:

 

I mean don't. I say donut.

 

Breakfast- breakfart is my best one. I also make a lot of typos in Spanish and Portuguese.

Roleplaying with friends:

"*Poof! Disappears*" turns into "*Poo! Disappears*"

One of my friends watching me and my other friend roleplay:

"((They are going to burn him at the steak!?!?))"

 

There was one other one I made... But I can't remember it. I should go ask...

 

Edit: Oh, I remember it now.

"*BLAM! Headshot*" became "*BLAH! Headshot*". :3

I've had some good ones when writing fanfiction.

 

human talking to an alien - "Do you know how to use human humans?" = "Do you know how to use human weapons?"

 

My beta reader still teases me about that one....

 

I've written 'fornification' instead of 'fortification',

 

'scrabble' instead of 'scramble'

 

'Focus' instead of 'force'

 

'Disappeared' instead of 'disappointment'

 

And likely other's I do not recall atm....

 

And no, I have no idea how the heck I completely mixed up the words. Thank goodness for beta readers!

...Then there was the really awkward/badly timed autocorrect.

 

I was trying to say "Death sucks"

 

but was autocorrected to "Dean sucks". The timing was terrible--but it did make for a funny Death/Dean Supernatural joke.

That's really the only one I can think of, but if you see me in IRC, you'll see a bunch.

Ah, I usually kick myself over typos...I do remember however when I wrote impotence instead of ignorant on a high school essay... , and then when they were going to cremate my aunt, I wrote erm...something else instead, something no guys wants to do to their male dogs, but have to. I swear, my brain will get me slapped one day D:.

And I wrote "Hell hath no furry".

 

Which reminded someone... a certain inactive mod... of furry handcuffs.

 

 

So now we cuff people in CPA when they top.

The best one I remember at the moment wasn't really a typo but me missing a word. As my friends quickly pointed out, "I am trying to french right now." is very different from "I am trying to STUDY french right now." They bugged me about that one for weeks.

i generally just miss words because i think faster than i type/write. i tend to change vowels around and when i'm writing i flip my 'b's and 'd's or my 'p's and 'q's. I'm pretty good at writing a '3' instead of an 'E' when signing my name. Keyboards keep me from doing that pretty much, though.

 

sometimes(a lot) i put 'my' instead of 'me'. too much Jar Jar.

damnyouautocorrect.com is the best place for typos, my favorite would be: I want to get my photo taken with Mickey Manboobs!

 

And I RP quite a lot, and of course, unfortunate typos makes a serious scene, funny. for example, a few years back, I was roleplaying with this guy, who made is character say "That means he could kiss us, right?" kiss was supposed to say kill.

 

Also, another one. Pumps turned into pimps.

 

Shirt has turned into on occasion.

 

I can't remember other ones as the moment.

It was a history of Sun and Vexen hating each other, and I put 'pups' as 'pipe'.

Typos are hilarious indeed... I usually only make minor ones when I use my iPod. I'm a little opposite than WestWindReborn... I type a little faster than I think so I write the wrong thing, then correct it because I'm a perfectinist. <Typo >3

Was RPing. Me typing 'dark red eyes' somehow turned into 'dark road eyes'.

But my cousin's took the cake. She was texting, and she was trying to tell her friend she was bored, but it came out like this:

'I'm bforded.'

Cue us cracking up over it and making it our new word.

Sidenote: I made sevefral several typos while typing this.

EDIT: Case in point. And just now, Point almost turned into Pint.
