After waiting so long to get scroll unlocked, there seems not to have been any magic in the air for Wizard of Magical Beginnings x Faithful of Magical Beginnings. I hope fertility will help spark their "no interest" into something more productive next week because I already have a 4th gen mate for this white starter set. Posted June 18, 2011 for your poll: Skywing description says they dive to hunt their prey, but nothing about magical. So I would vote No on Skywing. Shallow waters tell about using their magic to trap their prey with bubbles. So guess you could qualify them as magical but I am not convinced. I vote No on Shallow waters. since you say "write ins": I have always thought the Nebula should be a magical breed. They are not violent or hunters. And their is so much reference to "the stars" in the various forms of magic. So I would like to make a write-in vote Yes for Nebula. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 18, 2011 I've always thought of skywings as rather peaceful dragons just gliding along all day. I think they would be a nice addition considering that waters and blunas are already on the list. Might as well keep the families together. In the same vein, I can see shallow waters being part of the lineage as well .... and of course they do use magic. Nebulas would work to. Since they change their markings to resemble whatever nebula they like best it's not too much of a leap to think they they use magic to do so. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 18, 2011 I got to say no to skywings I was hoping that deep seas would be magical to make blunas but those seem to be a no too.My question is this will blunas still be part of the lineage if it's parents won't be. Posted June 19, 2011 (edited) I would have to argue that skywings are as magical as waters, so why not include them? I mean in all honesty we are talking about dragons; by their very definition they are magical creatures. Personally don't see why deep seas couldn't be included. Just my two cents, but I think level of aggression should be the main factor. Obviously, vines, hellfires, spitfires, embers and the trios wouldn't make the cut becaue of their aggressive natures but most other breeds could be a distinct possibility. Sure I missed some of the other aggressive species but those are what come to mind first along with zombies and neglecteds but since they can't breed....... Posted June 19, 2011 The answer is YES..Blunas ARE in lineage..which is why I find myself in this rather sticky predicament..ancestors dont actually MATTER..but its tough to grab ready made blunas if lineage is your desire..so think on it before just thinking of if you LIKE the breed or not..its got other issues around it too!
