Things that make you happy

Recommended Posts

One of my lovely felines fell asleep under my neck this morning. It was the sweetest thing! Albeit he made it slightly harder to breathe since he's a little overweight.

Books, rereading old ones and finding new gems

when a New Volume of Vampire Hunter D is released, I wait for this all year and when it shows up I start from volume 1 and read them all over again

going back to Tezuka Osamu's Dororo, the manga, PS2 game, anime or live action movie, they're all great

finding a old Library, the type of building that's been a Library for so many years you can feel it the air

I spent so much time in my town's old Library because I loved the books and the building felt like a place you go to to read

in the new place I just grab whatever book I'm going to read and get out, the new Library was build for computers and talking

Animals, especially dogs, but all of them tbh

The smell of dew on summer mornings

The warmth of the sun

Sound and smell of rain

Forest walks

Seeing people enjoy the things they really love

Soft, fuzzy blankets

Plush animals

I love so much things, but I cant list them all...

The time of night when its dark, but you can still see.

Rain.

Wind, just it blowing a lil bit.

Just cute things, like honey bees!

Finding someone else with the same interests.

People getting really excited talking about someone or something they love!

Hugs!

I'm leaving for a short trip to San Diego tomorrow. I'm going to get to see relatives, but the real reason I'm going is to meet my very favorite author (Jenny Lawson) at a book signing. THAT makes me INCREDIBLY happy.

Also, working a full four hours at work with no anxiety. That makes me incredibly happy as well.

Aromatherapy? I guess? I have some chronic illnesses that can't really be helped so I just really love a nice smelling bath or nice candles. I go to lush when I have the money to spare.
