Red vs purple dorsal dragon

I personally like both types.

Red's my favorite color, sooo...yeah. While we're here, apparently people breed red Dorsals with Alt Sweetlings, and abandon the purple offspring T.T. So I wonder which are liked more.

I like the Reds better, as in my opinion the red fits the black body better.

 

But at the end I only kept one Red and one Purple, and that's all.

I never used to like Dorsals, but they've grown on me. I prefer the red version.

I like both types. :3 I've actually just started my mission to clear the AP of purple dorsals. They deserve to be hoarded too!

Purple! Though, it is my favourite colour. I'm going to start hoarding them too, they're taking up the AP and no one seems to want them...I love them, it makes no sense to me.

Not gonna lie, I prefer red . When I get a CB purple dorsal, 1) I die a little inside because they're never red, 2) I'll feel bad if I just abandon them to sit there, forever . . . . so I just end up freezing them when they hatch . They're so cute as hatchies ! :3 EDIT: I started hoarding the hatchies a while ago, I'm gonna start again sometime soon !

I feel like a lot of people will choose Red because they're rarer. But my favorite color is purple.

Is it necessarily a case of 'being better'? One is Purple and one is Red - one is a little less common - period. They're both great candidates for hysterical names.

Dunno why, I prefer red dorsal. Maybe because is more colorful... but I'm not sure.

I like the Purple Dorsals better, because they are less... flashy, if that's the right word for it. I don't have many Dorsals but I like them a lot, the stance as well as the description.

Haha. Thanks^ for all the replies and I think I might start a dorsal linage too. I agree that the reds Do^ look a little better but I think purples should be liked too even though their more common.

I voted I liked both. I almost picked reds as being cooler since they were harder to get for me than purples, then realized it was biased and I like both sprites.
