Pygmy Preparation

" I do not get out of the castle very much. So just to get a simple cup of coffee i have to go through all of the trouble of disguising as a commoner and sneeking out if the castle. If anybody ever found out... i would be delayed from the throne and would be 'grounded' until i was 200 years old!" Bella put air quotes around grounded. "It was nice to meet you and your friends, and was nice to see different races of dragons being such close friends. I wish my father could see how you get along." Bella smiled at her new friend. To her, Romona was the closest thing she ever had close to a friend, and she was pretty sure that her face showed the greif of parting, but she did her best to mask it. "I think that me and FiFi will be here for a while... if you'd like to chatch up to your friends..." Bella said with a forced smile

"Princess, if you ever want to meet again, you know where to find me. Stop by the Library after the war sometime. I know where all the most fascinating chicken books are." Romona said with a smile.

She hoped the war would be over very soon. She felt out of place in the Barracks and only wanted to return to her wonderful life as a book sorter, among her "friends."

"After the war, if you are ever looking for a job as a librarian, or just want to see me... just stop by my castle, i garentee i can get you a job. Or if just need some spare money for books, i know how wonderful they can be. My doors are always open, my guards can't argue with the princess." Bella added with a smile.

"Oh, it's alright. Personally, I think I'm in line to be Librarian already." Romona blushed. "It's a very kind offer though." she continued. "I'm glad we were able to meet each other. I hope we could do so again soon in the future."

((Sorry I haven't been on. I had to go to a camp and my parents wouldn't let me use the computer so I may not be able to post much for the next three days. I'm really sorry for that late notice. Please don't kick me off the roleplay!!))

"Ah, hello, Bella, Princess of Old Rudolph. I am Dirzen, formerly of your kingdom." He bowed, showing his staff. He took a risk, stating his name, but the Princess couldn't possibly know him at all. Though the Warlord might...

"It's a pleasure to meet you." "And" he said, smiling again, your chicken looks rather cute."

"And a greeting to you." Bella nodded her head in greeting. "Thank you, my bird would be cleaner but we wanted to disgues as commoners." Bella said. FiFi popped up her head from Romona's wrist and she fluttered from Romona to Dirzen's shoulder. FiFi snuggled into Dirzen's shoulder. Bella giggled.

Edit: {Hello, Rainbow! Nice to meet you! We can chat when you have time if you would like!}

"If so, Princess Bella, I guess she'd just look even cut--"

Dirzen gave a suprised yelp as FiFi flew to his shoulder.

"Okay that--- ha! tickles--he he!" The misfit sputtered out as the bird snuggled into his shoulder.

He stroked FiFi's feathers. The smile on his face grew bigger.

"I think FiFi likes you." Bella laughed.

She placed her tiara on her head, no reason for it to gain dust in her pocket. "Where are you and your friends headed? I'm going back to the castle, but i'm just cuorious, since i've olny glanced at what commoners do for a daily basis."

"Over to Ced--hee! ar's place to look at the stars. He has a really --that really tickles-- good telescope." "So we can look at the stars, and maybe that mysterious planet with ginormus dragons and these creatures called 'hyoo-mans' in the news." Dirzen said.

"'Course, Princess Bella, the thought is rather...odd, but it may be true."

"You could come too, if you aren't busy today." "I'm sure all of us wouldn't mind." In fact, the more the merrier!"

Dirzen let out a giggle before settling down. "Your chicken, FiFi, could come too." He stroked the throat feathers of the chicken absentmindedly.

"Sounds facinating! Perhaps it might just be so! I would be honored to acompane you to the telescope!" Bella said with excitment. "I can be late to the castle, not that they know, i told they i was taking a very long soak in the pool and by all means leave me be." Bella said with a giggle.

FiFi made a purring-like noise as Dirzen stroked her throught's underfeathers.

{See you, dragice! have fun at sleepaway camp! We'll get you caught up!}

((I'm sorry Thael. TToTT I've been camping since Friday.))

Aspen perked up at her father's voice. "Hello daddy!" the little orange dragon just went giddy when she saw her father, that 'scholar' exterior just melted away. "How were the troops and the hatchies?"

~~~~~
"Well, we might as well get our fly on, anyway, Origulok gets hot if you fly for too long, gold and all, real shiny metal, only mirror-like. Should have been called Hotulok. But whatever, I'm rambling, let's go. Shush, Cedar." He smiled awkwardly and shambled out the door and waited outside with his wings tucked in closely to his sides in embarassment.
((Thanks you, I'm back. Gah, sorry I haven't bee on. I went to a volleyball camp for a week and got a bunch of floor burns))
Another princess here? Dressed as a commoner? Pearel disliked that idea, though the girl seemed nice enough. Pearel usually didn't wear a crown but most of the Windfit commoners already knew her and she was friends with many of them. Her crown , or crowns, were all organized neatly in her room, along with her other jewelery. Pearel liked shiney things. She was wearing a simple silver bracelet.
"Hi. I'm Pearel." She extended her hand. "It's very nice to meet you Bella, princess of Old Rudolph."
She noticed the chicken. "You have a CHICKEN? I really, really want one! My daddy won't let me have one because, well, he had a little "incident" with one before." Pearel pouted. "You're so lucky. I want to get a chick and raise it."
"Greetings, Pearel." Bella shook Pearel's hand. "Charming to meet you. That is to bad about the chicken, but perhaps in a few years your father will change his mind."
Fifi popped up her head and gazed at Perel when she said 'chicken'.
"You may pet her if you want." Bella added with a smile.
Jibberjabber held out his arms to draw his child into a hug.
"Well, the troops are completely prepared for fighting, and the hatchlings make me proud. But none of them make me as proud as you, my little darling."
Aspen wore a grin that stretched from cheek to cheek. Hearing that her father was proud of her just made her giddy. "Thanks, Daddy. And I've been studying really hard on the politics of our kingdom. I want to be just like you and Mama some day."
Jibberjabber held his beloved daughter close, smiling. "You will make us proud with anything you do, Aspen. There is NOTHING you cannot do. When all this fighting is over, I will take you to Abyssalai, and Old Rudolph, and we will see the world."
"The whole planet?" Aspen's little orange face was lost in wonder. But her expression turned serious again. "Well, if we're going to do that, we'll need knowledge of the other kingdom's cultures, allies, embassadors, guards, an escort..." Poor Aspen, she didn't even realize that her ramblings could drive a soldier insane.
