Broskii Region... a new region, a new adventure

Akira jumped for joy and then ran and grabbed the pokeball. She thought and said "I'll name him Rat. Now then, shall we move on Skit?" Skit looked up and said "Nya!" Akira nodded and said "Now to go farther into the forest. Oh I wonder what we'll find next!" With that Akira and Skit headed farther into the forest. The Skitty happily following.

[Dr. Paine]

"Oh... hm," Madison said, looking at the Patrat. It was one she had read about, but just to make sure, she took out the pokedex and scanned it.

 

'Patrat, the Scout pokemon', it chimed. Extremely cautious, they take shifts to maintain a constant watch of their nest. They feel insecure without a lookout.'

 

A lookout sort of pokemon would be useful, Madison thought, but Patrat just wasn't a pokemon she wanted to study yet. Besides, it appeared weak, certainly weak enough for Snivy to take out. And who knew, it might level her up enough to learn Vine Whip!

 

"Alright Snivy, let's go!" she said. Snivy nodded, leaping in front of the Patrat and Leering at it, before rushing in to a tackle.

woshiico0kie ~ The relaxed Poliwag was beginning to sleep when Cyto landed the Psywave on it. The pokemon was angry by this and jumped infront of it and released a Bubble attack. The Bubbles flew towards Cyto and blasted against his face, pushing the cell pokemon back...

 

(I know Poliwag doesn't learn Bubble untill level 5... but I searched, and in Gen 3 it learns it by level 1, so I used it )

 

akiraa ~ well... since it is your starter, I was going to let you choose it (same goes for the rest). But if you want, I can randomize it...

 

Dr. Paine ~ Patrat was pushed back by the Tackle. Having its defense lowered by Snivy's earlier move, the attack did much damage than expected. Patrat incorporated and ran at Snivy landing a Tackle on her. The Tackle pushed her back and Patrat felt strong now, it let out a cocky "pat!" and crossed its arms again...

Bubbles were bursting right in front of Cyto’s face, causing the irritated Cell pokemon to say, Bubble. Bubble. Seriously, why do these Poliwags have to most annoying of attacks? Cyto was pushed back due to the bubbles that kept on coming. Morty shrugged his shoulders, before commanding Cyto to use Rollout to burst through all the bubbles and try to land a square hit on the Tadpole pokemon. Cyto immediately began rolling, not wanting to waste any time. He gathered momentum as he went, trying his best to increase the force of his attack.

[Dr. Paine]

Snivy growled, still glaring at the Patrat. The tackle had pushed her back a little bit, but other than some soreness in her feet, she felt pretty good.

 

"Alright... Tackle it again!" Madison said. "Try to get around it this time, hm?"

 

"Sni!" Snivy cried out, and she began to charge again. However, instead of attacking head on, she followed her trainer's instructions, and instead ran circles around the Patrat, until she felt it was disoriented enough to be taken by surprise. (The basic idea is Snivy's just trying to make a surprise attack And she will attack, I just don't want to determine Patrat's actions. So just make sure to incorporate the Tackle into the reaction, please )

woshiico0kie ~ Poliwag so the Solosis coming at it in a Rolling attack. Having more than enough time to see it since it was in the air, Poliwag moved to a side and let him crash against the tree where Poliwag was suppose to be sleeping now. The tadpole smiled and rushed at the Solosis and slammed him, a tackle, not quite the move Tackle, but it worked as good as the water pokemon wanted since the Solosis was pushed way from the tree. Poliwag stared at the Solosis and began throwing Bubbles at it again and moved around it so it will be harder for him to attack it...

 

Dr. Paine ~ Patrat followed Snivy with its eyes as she bagan running around it. Being used to look at its surrounding all the time, this wasn't something hard for it... or at least, that's what it thought. The speed of Snivy's moves made Patrat lost track of her and ultimately... getting dizzy. Snivy's Tackle landed straight on it and threw the Patrat to th grass again. When in the grass, Patrat recovered its senses and stepped back in battle by landing another Tackle on Snivy, this time, causing more damage than before...

(Oh, for the record- I'm not aiming to catch Patrat This is just to get Snivy to level up...)

 

Snivy fell back on the grass after the latest tackle, and this time, it seemed she was in a little more pain, it certainly took her longer to get back into a fighting stance. She Leered at the Patrat again, hoping to frighten it enough to land a final blow and end the battle.

 

When she had recovered her strength, she ran at the Patrat again, intending to hit it for all she was worth.

Cyto was rolled into the tree, causing a few Berries to drop down on the ground. Ow, that hurt! I won’t forgive you, you, you Poliwag! Cyto cried out as the falling Berries added to the damage. Morty said, Cyto are you alright? If you can keep going, unleash a wide-area Psywave attack to burst those bubbles and hit it at the same time! Make it as big as you can! Cyto’s determination made it possible. The Cell pokemon nodded and his eyes glowed brightly of light blue, before releasing a spread of light blue rings in front of it. Ring after ring, it was almost as if a wall of Psychic energy was going towards the Poliwag. Edited June 23, 2011 by woshiico0kie

Dr. Paine ~ The Patrat was clearly tired by the time it landed the Tackle on Snivy. Now, it was awaiting the grass pokemon's next move, if it could avoid it and land a few more blow, maybe it could win this fight. Snivy Leered at it and Patrat got frozed by this move, it had forgotten its plan and now was open for another attack, an opportunity that the Snivy was going to take. The grass starter ran towrds Patrat and landed one more Tackle over it, this, caused the poor pokemon to faint of the hit and also threw it to the grass, completely done... poor Patrat, all it wanted was to prove its strength and it got beaten

 

woshiico0kie ~ The large quantity of Bubbles sent by the confident Poliwag were no match for Cyto's incredibly strong Psywave. One by one the Bubbles were bursted and finally the rings of psychic energy got to Poliwag, who defenseless recieved the attack directly and was pushed by the strength... eventually, taking it down. Poliwag couldn't fight back the psychic energy and finally collapsed to the ground... at least, now it would take the rest it wanted

Cyto heaved a sigh of relief, Finally, another one of those pesky pokemon defeated. Morty gave a thumbs-up to Cyto, while saying, Good work!

 

Morty then walked over to the tree, picking up the fallen Berries. He said to no one in particular, ”Wow Pecha Berries! I’ve never seen them before!” You want some Cyto? He asked the tired Cell pokemon. Cyto shook his head, refusing Morty’s initial offer. Morty then offered him some Oran Berries in his backpack, which he gladly accepted. Morty kept the Pecha Berries he found in his bag and went by the lakeside again. He placed his backpack on the floor and took off his shoes. He placed his feet in the cool water, enjoying the relaxing moment by himself. The moon cast its reflection on the water, illuminating the lake, letting it sparkle and shimmer.

 

Morty saw Cyto yawn and said, You're tired huh. Well it has been a really long day... Morty yawned too. He took out a towel from his backpack and dried his feet. He then took out his sleeping bag and unrolled it by the side of the lake. While he was getting inside the sleeping bag, he said, C'mon Cyto, get in too. The pokemon floated down and snuggled beside its trainer in the sleeping bag, Morty made sure they both were comfortable and zipped up the sleeping bag. They both soon fell asleep, under the light of the moon high up in the sky.

As Diomedes wondered, Mirk stood to attention on his shoulder, bouncing a little in an effort to get its trainer's attention without making a noise. Diomedes stopped dead. "Hm- What?" Remaining as quiet as possible, Mirk jumped on to Diomedes' head and jerked it around, making him face the rustling clump of tall grass that had his attention. "Ah..." Diomedes uttered, hushed so as not to scare off whatever was within the grass. Slowly, he crept towards the hiding spot and gently pushed back the grass.

Jeimuzu ~ As soon as Diomedes and Mirk got close to the grass, they could hear the rustling sound getting louder and louder. Diomedes moved the grass and could see it, a wild Bidoof(lvl 3) was munching on some berries unaware of the trainer's pressence...

[Dr. Paine]

"Alright, go Snivy!" Madison cheered, while Snivy just dusted herself off, looking proud as ever.

 

"Here, I've even got the right berry for you this time," she said, taking out a rather squashed Pecha berry. Snivy gave it an experimental bite before gulping down the whole thing, looking quite refreshed.

 

"So... think you can give Vine Whip a try?" Madison asked for a moment. "There's more Pecha berries up there, but I can't reach them," she added, pointing up at a nearby tree. Several large, ripe berries were hanging there, just out of reach.

 

"Sni.." Snivy said, bracing herself and concentrating. After a few moments, two large vines sprouted beside the collar-like protrusion on her neck, and the grass starter easily knocked several of the Pecha berries to the ground.

 

"Wow, great work!" Madison said with a grin, gathering up the berries. "And I think I've got a name for you," she added, carefully sealing the berries and putting them in their proper pouch, so they wouldn't be crushed again. "What do you think of 'Holly'?"

 

Snivy tilted her head to the side for a moment, as if considering the name. She eventually gave a single nod, more than enough for her trainer. Madison smiled, motioning for Holly to follow her down the path as she recorded the name in her pokedex, not even noticing that they had wandered into the grass, towards the lake.

Diomedes allowed himself a slight smile at the sight of the Bidoof and it's berry munching. Maybe he could lure it out with more enigmatic, rarer berries? Mirk tensed, as if ready to pounce, but Diomedes stopped him. Shaking his head to the Mudkip, he silently rummaged through his bag and pulled out a Sitrus berry, which he rolled gently in the Bidoof's direction.

Akira and Skit stopped at a near by berry bush. Akira smiled and tried to pick one of the berries, but she couldn't seem to get it off the bush....

 

(Random encounter please oh and it isn't a berry that does anything special, its just a random berry, and Akira was kinda hungry )

Seeing that the other two were now distracted with wild pokemon for the moment, Serena decided that the best thing for her to do would be to get out of their way, and so afrer collecting her Sentret., back up the road towards Pring Town she went... she might never reach there iof she didn't quit being so easily distracted! "I don't know, pansear, it seems like many of these other trainers are much more focused than me..." she confided as the walked along back up the road.

 

"Pan.. sear..sear!" the little pokemon chattered as it rode on her shoulder, which had already become its favorite perch, letting its trainer know that it bore her no ill will for that."

 

"I mean it , Pan sear... we can't be getting distracted or else we will certainly lose , the first real battle we have... we wont to win and earn some gym badges, don't we?" She grinned at her friend.

PAN.. sear!" the fire monkey replied the affirmative... of course it wanted to battle, and it wanted to win!

Alexander woke up very grogily. He still needed training to wake up very early as it was......"10:30? IM LATE!!!" He scuries through his room and looks for his bag and karate outfit. "Outfit, bag, gum, hair, brain. Ok. Stop." He abruptly stops, scans the room, and finds his bag and uniform right beside his bed, nearly laid on the floor. He walked to his closet, got dressed, then got his uniform and put it on.

 

He grabbed his bag and went downstairs only to be met by him mom and little brother Jimmy as the bottom. "Mom? LJ? How are ya?" Tobias asked. "We need to talk Sebastian. It's about your brother. Come here and sit." Tobias was taken aback but did so anyways. "Um. Yes?" "I want you to take Jimmy with you on your adventure. I've been reading that it could help break out of his shell. Now let's eat breakfast." They eat breakfast.

 

After breakfast Tobias and Jimmy give their mom a hug and leave. About 5 minutes after they left, they get to the lab. Tobias was carrying Jimmy on his shoulder as they entered.

Dr. Paine ~ AS Madison and Snivy walked, they unotingly(not sure about this word) walked into a wild pokemon. A Zigzagoon(lvl 3) crossed their way, the pokemon, looked at the girl quietly until she was infront of it, and when she was about to stepp on it the Zigzagoon let out a loud "Zigzagooon!" "speaking" with her... probably saying hi...

 

Jeimuzu ~ The Bidoof, hungry as it was, ended munching on the berry it had on its hands and noticed another berry rolling towards it. Bidoof turned to the berry and grabbed it and began munching on it again, unaware of the trainer yet...

 

akiraa ~ As hard as Akira pulled the berry, something was apparently pulling it in the opposite direction. Was until the girl pulled it with all her mighty that she took it off of the bush and landed on the ground with the berry in her hands... but it was not only the berry, a wild Spearow(lvl 2) was fighting her for the berry and was still in fighting stance when she pulled it out of the bush...

 

LeopardDragon ~ In her thinking, Serena couldn't see the Rattata(lvl 3) that was crossing her way and stepped on the pokemon's tail. The Rattata let out a loud cry and tried to run for its life but couln't escape from the trainer's foot. Not knowing what else to do, Rattata bit the girl so she let go off it...

Akira yelped as she fell backwards, and a Spearow came out. Akira stood up and looked at the berry. She flushed a little and said "You wanted this?" She wasn't one to be mean, she'd try to catch it later, but first "Here... you had it first" She tossed the berry at the Spearow. Akira then smiled at Skit, who got ready to fight afterwards, or chase the Pokemon if it fled.

 

(Akira is a bit to nice to keep the berry and if I remember correctly, that Spearow won't flee because they are an aggressive species )

Tobias and Jimmy were now walking side by side when they approached Dr Pine. "Hello Professor. I hope you don't mind if I bring Jimmy along." Before the professor answered both James and Sebastian looked at a machine.

 

"This computer chooses your partner Pokemon based on your personality," explained by the Professor. "Just place your hand on the scanner and it will display 3 Pokemon for your choosing."

akiraa ~ The Spearow stared at the girl. The pokemon looked at the berry and rolled it with its beak to a side and took battle stance. The pokemon was apparently asking for a fight to see who would get the berry. Before the girl could reack, Spearow let out a loud Growl and took flight over her and the Skitty preparing to dive and land a Peck on them...

 

((yeah, it won't run.. it will fight for that berry ))

 

dragoon ~ The screen whirled around black shapes of potential Pokemon. Like a casino slot machine, the three slots started to fill up with the dark sillouetts. BEEP! The first pokemon appeared and the computer spoke.

 

"Snorunt, the Snow Hat Pokémon. Snorunt live in regions with heavy snowfall. In seasons without snow, such as spring and summer, this Pokémon steals away to live quietly among stalactites and stalagmites deep in caverns."

 

The computer continued to spin through the slots. BEEP! The second Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Houndour, the Dark Pokémon. Houndour hunt as a coordinated pack. They communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey. This Pokémon's remarkable teamwork is unparalleled."

 

Once again the computer spun its last slot. BEEP! The final Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon. Blades comprise this Pokémon's entire body. If battling dulls the blades, it sharpens them on stones by the river."

Skit backed up a bit at the growl. Akira then said "Skit, Prepare to dodge peck then use Fake out, then use Tail whip afterwards!" Skit nodded then prepared. As soon as the Spearow dived down to use peck, she jumped left. She then charged forward, jumped in front of the spearow, then clapped her front paws together creating a shock wave of air, she then went for the tail whip on the hopefully stunned pokemon.

Tobias looked at the selections while Jimmy gazed at everything else. "Huh? A pawniard? I've never heard of that, but I can imagine I'll see it soon. I'll take houndour." Sebastian puts his hand on the screen/comp/whatever and waits.

akiraa ~ Spearow got hit directly by the sound wave Skit's Fake Out let loose on it. Stunned the pokemon hardly recovered from the ground and turned at the kitten, just to find out it had Skitty's tail in its face. Spearow began getting dizzy by looking at it, but quickly regained composure as it remembered this was a fight. Spearow let Skit continue with the tail wag as it gathered its energy on its beak and let loose a powerfulll Peck attack on the kittens back. After it Spearow flew bak to the air to avoid any possibly recoils and awaitied its foe's next move...

 

dragoon ~ Prof. Pine saw the bay made his decision and moved to the closet he had by his desk. He took a pokedex and five empty pokeball meant for the newly arrived one. Meanwhile the machine let out a pokeball containing the boy's choice, Houndour for him to take it. Prof. Pine got back to him and said "go ahead, that's your pokemon" with a smile as he held the pokedex and pokeballs of the boy...

Sebastian looked at the pokeball in his hands and released the houndour. The houndour let out a roar and shot out some flames into the air. "Whoa!! Feisty little pokemon aren't you? I'm gonna name you......Alarm Clock. Yeah." Alarm Clock looked at Tobias confusingly but quickly scrugged it off when it noticed that LJ ((little Jimmy)) was starring at it.

 

Alarm Clock scrugged that off as well and walked over to Sebastian and sat down. Sebastian in the meanwhile took the pokedex and pokeballs and said; "Thanks Professor. Where do I go?"
