Posted November 29, 2011 As Zaak arrived back at the treehouse, he noticed there was no stirring inside, so he decided to just lean against the tree. He needed to adjust a little because there were bumps and dips from the damage Maverick had caused. He kept all but one pokemon, Maverick, in the pokeballs. Maverick had already rudely shown Zaak how much he did NOT want to go back inside there, as displayed on the way back to the treehouse. The fall pokemon hopped around, restless for some reason. "Got some fight stirrin up in you, eh boy?" Zaak asked the pokemon. The bird nodded. Despite yesterdays fight and the promise of no more battles, Maverick still wished to fight. Display it's power to his trainer. So he went off searching for trouble. After only five minutes, it came rushing back with an angry pokemon on it's tail... Share this post Link to post
Posted November 29, 2011 stromzone ~ After the Taillow, an angry looking Beedrill (lvl 21) came out of the bushes. The wasp's stings were glowing brightly as it appraoched the bird in the means of hitting it with a Twin Needle atatck. For some reason, MAverick's will of fighting had led him to this quick tempered bug and it was more than willing to take down the bird... Share this post Link to post
Posted November 29, 2011 Akira fully woke up to battle sounds, only as of now it sounded one sided. She ran to the window and quickly recalled the pokemon she had on watch. She yelped as she saw poor Taillow being chased by a beedrill. But Akira also knew it wasn't her fight so she sat down and waited for it to be over. And add in the fear getting stung, she was more or less hiding. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) Grinning, Melissa picked up the Pokeball with her new Taillow and healed Meowth along with the captured Taillow. "C'mon, Meowth," she said to it, "let's see what else we can find." They continued walking, as the sun sank lower in the sky. After some time, Melissa paused, realizing that something was different, but not knowing what. Meowth looked up at her from where she sat down, as Melissa glanced around, trying to figure out what had changed. She checked her Pokeballs and her bag, but nothing was wrong with them, so she glanced around again, unsettled. Then, she realized that that noise had stopped, leaving behind a thick silence that seemed unnatural; Melissa decided to continue walking. They eventually reached a clearing and Melissa began to settle down to sleep, unrolling her sleeping bag and placing her bag near the top as a pillow before crawling into the bag and falling asleep. Posted November 30, 2011 The weather was hot and the grass was wild on Route 2. ((I'm going to pull a Paul)) And it was to much of War's relief when he saw the forest ahead. Yet, as he entered, he let out two of his pokemon, Shinx and Purrloin. Looking at them with a very neutral pokerface, he released them. After much study in his books, War found that these two pokemon, with their cap strength low, decided to let them leave and be free. He entered forest, looking for pokemon to train against. Posted December 1, 2011 ((YOU RELEASE SHINX! NOOOOOOOO!)) "Holy crap it's a Beedrill!" Zaak exclaimed "It's about to use Twineedle...meaning it's a high level...I've seen the outcome and it's dangerous...hmmmm Maverick use Quick Attack to head into those trees and dodge the Twineedle when it's used! Then when the Beedrill is vulnerable use Peck!". The small bird darted into the forest with high speed, flying incredibly through and around trees in quite the confusing manner. As it did, it's beak began to glow, indicating it was ready to use Peck. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 1, 2011 (edited) stromzone ~ ((yeah, he did a lot of things wrong in that post, but I PMd him about it.)) The Beedrill angered more when it heard the boy yelling. How could someone be so loud and yet so small?! The wasp decided to shut down the kid just after it stabbed the ground with tis failed Twin Needle. But as soon as it took its needles from the ground it was slammed by the Taillow's Peck. Angered Beedrill decided to take down the bird first. It flew directly to Taillow the wasp's needles glew brightly orange as it released a dozen on Poison Stings right into Taillow's face, poisoning the pokemon and stopping its attack. With the bird's attack done, Beedrill flew high above it and slammed the bird into the ground using Brick Break, showing it who was the big fish here... Posted December 2, 2011 ((can't only one attack move be used? or does poison not count as an attack? and does the whole dodging thing not count for anything?)) As Maverick plummeted to the ground, Zaak winced. But the small bird wasn't going to take that from the large bug. It quickly shot directly at the Beedrill using Quick Attack. "Ya go for it boy!" Zaak shouted. He was surprised at the pokemons will to fight. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 3, 2011 stromzone ~ ((it dodged, read again, the Twin Needle got to the ground. ANd it is normal it can atatck twice in a row, it is over 10 level stronger than your Taillow and thus, faster. Though, Poison Stings barely damage a flying type, and so happens with Brick Break (which is a TM move if you didn't noticed) that's why I had both hit. If it was a move that would drain a lot of energy out of taillow I wouldn't have it hit directly but giving you the chance of dodging... btw, Poison is a stat affection)) Beedrill was happy to be able to slam the bird to the ground with relative ease, it thought the battle was over, but then the bird recovered and used Quick Attack on it. The hit pushed Beedrill high in the air, stunned. As the wasp recovered it angered. Rage filling its body as it made its needles glow, it charged to the bird with another Twin Needle attack. But this time, the attack landed. Beedrill stabbed the bird twice with its needles, pushing it away from it and close to its trainer, Beedrill was now angered... well, more angered and was not going to go easy on Taillow anymore... Posted December 3, 2011 The horizon was just starting to lighten when Melissa woke up, looking groggily around to see what had woken her. Spotting nothing out of place, she groaned, lying back down to try to catch a couple more hours of sleep. She was drifting off again when she heard something and she forced her eyes open to look around again. This time, Meowth also stirred, raising her head to look around with half-open eyes, before dropping her head back down and trying to go back to sleep. This continued for several minutes before Melissa gave up and started packing. As she was about to recall her sleeping Meowth, she noticed movement in the corner of her eye and quickly turned to face it. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 3, 2011 myahoo ~ As the girl turned around to see what was moving close to her, she could see it. A wild Minccino (lvl 6) that had also been sleeping awaoken. Just like the girl and her Moewth, this small chinchilla felt the morning really heavy and didn't wanted to move. It was being so lazy that it didn't even noticed the girl who was standing a few feet away from it, this pokemon was indeed really lazy... Share this post Link to post
Posted December 3, 2011 Casey looked at her now fully healed Magnemite and smiled brightly. "Are you okay now?" She asked "Magnemite" It responded, suddenly bounding over her and tripping her playfully. She laughed and stroked it's hard, steel head and got up. "Now to go to the next town" She said and let out all her pokemon. They stood by her and followed as she walked. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 DragonGirl ~ I told you, your Magnemite won't be going to act so nicely with you yet! You are still on the day when the event happened, and as long as you don't end that day that Magnemite will still be hostile towards you. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 Upon seeing the little chinchilla Pokemon, Melissa relaxed and ended up yawning widely. Meowth curiously went up to the lazy Pokemon and nudged it, just to see what would happen. Melissa sat back down facing the two Pokemon with her chin resting in her hand whose elbow was digging into her leg and blinked sleepily; it was still way too early to be up, as evidenced by the lack of real daylight in the forest. Posted December 4, 2011 myahoo ~ The lazy Minccino was about to start snoring again when the Meowth came to it. Being lazy as it was, the Minccino found to motif to scape or even move away of the pokemon's way. Instead it stood there, relaxed. As the Meowth nudged it, the Minccino only moved tis front paw to make the pokemon go away, not really wanting to get up. But the cat continued nudging it. Minccino was now bothered, it didn't wanted to get up but if this cat ws so deternimed to make it awake, then it better did. The chinchilla glanced at the cat and sat on the grass, crossing its arms infront of it and making a pompuos "angry" face which was actually funny. "min min!" it cried almost angry to the Meowth, asking it why did it awoken it? Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 Meowth retreated, as soon as the Minccino got up, stammering apologies along the way. "Meowth, meowth, meowth," she said, saying she was curious and the Minccino had looked so listless and dead that she had wondered if it was. After a couple steps, she sat down, introducing herself and the human sitting behind her, along with a couple more apologies for annoying the Minccino. Melissa couldn't help grinning when Meowth frantically back-pedaled from the annoyed Minccino. When her Pokemon motioned toward her with a paw, she waved lazily, content to just watch the two interact. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 myahoo ~ The chinchilla seemed pretty annoyed, though by hearing the apologies it figured the Meowth had no mean intentions with its nudging. The pokemon let out a apathical "min" to the cat as it introduced itself, not really content about getting awake just to meet another pokemon. Though, the human was more interesting, it hadn't seen a human on the forest, ever, so it was more interested in her than in the cat. "min min?" the chinchilla asked intrigued to the cat about "her human" it was wierd to see one around after all, even if it was a lazy one like this... Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 "Meowth, meowth, meowth, meowth," she replied, saying that they traveled together with five other Pokemon and sometimes battled, but for the most part, there was only one Pokemon that would walk around outside, while the other five just stayed in their Pokeballs and did whatever it was they did. "Meowth, meowth, meowth, meowth, meowth." The cat Pokemon shrugged, continuing to answer by saying that she didn't mind traveling with her human because her human was a nice one and very kind to the Pokemon she carried. Posted December 4, 2011 myahoo ~ Minccino got exited when it heard the cat saying that they traveled with the human. It was jsut great! It'd love to travel! It had never leaved this boring forest and to travel was just what it needed! It was so exited about the traveling part that the Chinchilla didn't put any attention to the battling part, not that it was going to get exited about it either. But then it got bummed down. How could it see the world if it was to stay in a pokeball... whatever that was? The Chinchilla raised, with a large frown on its face it walked to the girl and began to yell at her "cin cin min!" It said angry, how could this girl be so mean, how would it, see the world if it was going to stay in a pokeball? If it was to travel with them it was going to do it outside a pokeball... whatever that was. Yeah, Minccino had invited itself to the girl's journey, not actually caring about her feelings, it just wanted to travel and see the world, and she had just appeared! Then, it (Minccino) had to take this chance to travel, and it was going to be with this girl, wether she wanted it or not! Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 Melissa was taken aback when the chinchilla went up to her and started yelling. What had she done to make the chinchilla angry at her? She gave Meowth a confused and helpless look, begging Meowth to help her. Meowth, on the other hand, grinned at her this time, before taking pity on her human and explaining the situation in a sort of charades way. "Alright, alright, you can stay outside if you want, okay?" Melissa told the Minccino, holding her hands up in a gesture of surrender. She gave her Meowth another bewildered glance, before returning her gaze to the Pokemon in front of her. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 myahoo ~ The Minccino smiled happy, it had accomplished its goal! It was going to travel with the human and be able to see the world from outside a pokeball... whatever it was. "cin cin!" the chinchilla cried happy before climbing its way over the girl to her head and pointing in a random direction, asking her to move. Though, it was so exited it didn't noticed it was pointing the direction from where the girl came from... not that it knew either... ((the catch isn't official you know, you'd need to get it into a pokeball to actually make it part of your team)) Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 Zaak picked up his pokemon. "It's not over yet" he said to nobody in particular. Maverick chirped in agreement. "Use Focus Energy" He said to the pokemon who was still in his arms. Maverick pulsed with energy, charging up for its attack. "Now use Peck!" Zaak ordered. Maverick's beak glowed and Zaak threw the bird directly at the Beedrill with extreme power. As the pokemon flew through the air faster than it thought it ever could, Zaak thought he almost saw the little bird smile... Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2011 stromzone ~ The Beedrill saw the bird coming at it, though it came to fast to dodge. The wasp covered its body with its large needles, protecting itself from the attack, it still hurt though. Beedrill's Rage made the bug grew stronger by the damage recieved by the Peck and with swift speed it flew directly infront of the bird and began to stab it repeatedly with its needles, using Fury Attack, each time it hit dealin a lot of damage on the already Poisoned bird. Beedrill continued its fellony of stings on the bird untill it got tired of it and slammed the bird to a tree with one of its needles, still staring at it in case it tried to attack again... ((don't interfere in the battles, you can't make your character help the pokemon to make more damage like you did. I allowed it this time for this being the first one, but don't do it again or else I'll have your pokemon loose the battle automatically)) Share this post Link to post
Posted December 5, 2011 Melissa hesitated when the Pokemon climbed up to her head. How would she ask the Minccino to get into a Pokeball briefly so that no one could steal it? Maybe she should just tell the Pokemon that it would be best if it got inside and then she'd let it out immediately afterwards. "Umm, there's only one little problem," she told it, looking up at where it was sitting on her head, not having got up or moved yet. "See, if you want to travel with me, you're going to have to get into this real quick"--she held up a Pokeball--"that way, no one can say that you aren't allowed to go with me. I swear I'll let you out as soon as you get in, alright? And this way, the only person you'd travel with would be me, if you want." "Meowth, meowth," Meowth chimed in, saying that her human would keep her word, especially since she had given it to a Pokemon. "Meowth," she added, saying this was really only a formality, but it had to be observed otherwise other humans wouldn't let the chinchilla travel with them and other Pokemon could get angry at it for choosing to travel with a human. Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) ((Sorry, I haven't been posting on this RP lately. )) The light of the sun shone through the thick canopy, causing thin streams of light that filtered down on the ground. Morty was awoken by a buzzing noise, a different one from yesterday. This one sounded more like, normal, bug buzz noises. He drowsily packed his sleeping bag, back into his sling bag and walked unsteadily towards the river, intending to refresh himself with a few splashes of water before heading to Route 3. Morty knelt down and started to wash his face, splashing the icy cold water of the river onto his cheeks and eyes. He suddenly thought, Won't I be out of this forest if I follow this river? According to the map, the river flows right to Route 3 too! He patted himself on his back, praising himself for his "ingenuity". Morty patted his face dry with a towel from his bag and stood up, walking along the side of the river. He hummed a merry song, in his joy to finally get some progress. However, to Morty's dismay, he found out that the end of the river at Greenwood Forest was blocked by many trees. He saw a bridge as the only way to move forward, as well as a designated well-trodden path. He heaved a sigh of relief and continued on the route in Greenwood Forest. Soon enough, he spotted the exit of the forest and walked through it. --Route 3-- Morty looked towards the side and saw the same river that flowed through the forest, but it seemed very different compared to the section that flowed through the forest. In the forest, there seemed to be no pokemon, while in Route 3, the river was teeming with different Water-type pokemon. Morty wondered if he should catch another Water-type for his team. As he walked along the river, something brushed upon his leg. He looked down and saw a pokemon! ((An encounter please. Hopefully a Surskit. Hehe.)) ((EDIT: We're really going pixel by pixel? >_< Sorry, I'll edit the post to make it fit.)) Edited December 6, 2011 by woshiico0kie Share this post Link to post
