after the long, two day walk, Hermione finally arrived outside of Professor Pines lab. She was ready for it, and hoped that she would get the right pokemon for her. Hermione walked inside, and approaching the friendly looking professor, she asked where she would get her pokemon. The professor gestured toward a slot-like machine, telling her about it. "This computer chooses your partner Pokemon based on your personality," explained by the Professor. "Just place your hand on the scanner and it will display 3 Pokemon for your choosing."

dragoon ~ Rattata had gotten prepared for the battle, but three consecutive Growls did more than making it feel uneasy, its attack had been greatly decreased and was now uncomefortable about this fight. When the rat was having second thoughts about it Zigzagoon landed a Tackle on it. The power of Tackle got with it a STAB bonus and made Rattata fall down again, this time defeated. Having recieved the attack when it was thinking of run made the foe's attack more strong against it and too much for the pokemon to handle...

 

woshiico0kie ~ The light blue rings that got to the surface of teh water couldn't do any damage to the Goldeen inside of it. But they did something, to call its attention, the goldfish, curious about the rings that were hsaking the water on the surface came up and out of the water to see what was causing them...

 

Dr. Paine and Jeimuzu ~ Watching how the threats the pokemon of the girl meant were now out of "damage distance" Seaking was about to take care of the girl. The poisonous water that landed on the leg of the girl was burning her skin, meant for pokemon, the poison was highly toxic for humans, specially for young ones. Now, Seaking was concentrating its strength on its horn, it was hoping to use a Peck, hopefully, it could "jump" out of the water with enough strength to land it on the girl...

 

On the other side of the lake, the Goldeen (Seaking's offsprings) were lured by the trainer that offered them a snack. The bunch of small goldfish came out to the surface to much on the free food they were getting out of nowhere. The sound of the fishes on the surface eating caught Seaking's attention. The big red fish turned to them and saw all its children eating somethin on the surface. Now its attention was brought to them and it forgot about the girl and swam fast to the Goldeen to take care of them. AS soon as it was there, the Seaking stared at the trainer who still had some of the "food" with him, seeing this, Seaking understood he meant no threat and leaved him alone and took care of its children forgetting about the other trainer too...

 

stromzone ~ As Zaak approached to the bushes, he could se it a Bidoof(lvl 2) was taking a nap covered by the "protection" the bushes meant for it. The sleeping pokemon didn't even noticed somebody staring at it... understandable, it was asleep...

 

akiraa ~ The poor wandering Poliwag got blasted to the ground by a strong wind that came back of it. Poliwag used its tail to get up and turned back trying to see what was the reason of that wind, big mistake. As soon as it turned, it got blasted by a Tackle done by a Skitty. The Tackle threw the pokemon to a tree, confused, Poliwag stared at its foe with a (@.@) face. Little did that could do against the Skitty who came over to it and used its tail to not only distrat it, but slap it and cause damage. After some tail slaps Poliwag recoverd its senses and truned angry, it let out a whole lot of Bubble against the kitten pokemon that threw it back to where it came. Poliwag's eyes glowed in determination as it stepped forward using a Water Sport to cover its body and making itself more fast for the battle...

 

theHPfreak ~ The screen whirled around black shapes of potential Pokemon. Like a casino slot machine, the three slots started to fill up with the dark sillouetts. BEEP! The first pokemon appeared and the computer spoke.

 

"Larvitar, the Rock Skin Pokémon. Larvitar is born deep under the ground. To come up to the surface, this Pokémon must eat its way through the soil above. Until it does so, Larvitar cannot see its parent's face."

 

The computer continued to spin through the slots. BEEP! The second Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Vulpix, the Fox Pokémon. Inside Vulpix's body burns a flame that never goes out. During the daytime, when the temperatures rise, this Pokémon releases flames from its mouth to prevent its body from growing too hot."

 

Once again the computer spun its last slot. BEEP! The final Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Deerling, the Season Pokémon. The color and scent of their fur changes to match the mountain grass. When they sense hostility, they hide in the grass."

Madison breathed a sigh of relief, wincing as she made her way over to the bag. This was not going to be good... she was sure she had some kind of antidote in there, but everything else would either have to be washed really well, or thrown out, this was going to take an enormous bite out of her money.

 

She crouched by the bag, which was slightly dried, hopefully the poison wouldn't leech into her too much. She needed the antidote now, and she began to frantically dig through. Holly and Ziggy watched from where they still hid, looking quite concerned for their trainer, they had never seen a human poisoned by a pokemon before.

Mirk had taken to going for a swim. Being far more accepted than his trainer, he began to graciously help a few straggling Goldeen get at their fair share of the berries, plucking flakes from the surface and handing them to the hungry consumers.

 

Diomedes, after scattering a few more generous handfuls of the food to the Goldeen, smiled softly at Seaking and stood back respectfully, heading to Madison, who looked rather panicky. "...Are you okay?"

"Y...yeah. I will be," she muttered, her hands shaking as she finally pulled out an antidote. She moved over to the edge of the water and carefully rinsed off her leg before applying the antidote.

 

"The stupid fish poisoned me," she explained. "Holly and Ziggy are fine, but the attack managed to hit me. And the bag, everything's going to be poisoned..."

Zaak decided he wanted to battle the Bidoof, but since it was already at a disadvantage (being normal type), he kindly decided to nudge it to wake it up. The Bidoof got up, yawned and got ready for battle. Zaak exclaimed "Alright Gastly, take em' down!" as Gastly floated over top of the Bidoof. "Gastly use Hypnosis" ((lol, just woke it up))

Hermione, hardly thinking pressed the button for Deerling. She grabbed five pokeballs and threw them in her messenger back, then snatched the pokedex and left before the Professor could say a thing. She ran out to Route 1, and quickly spotted a boy who looked a couple years older than her battling a Bidoof using a Gastly. "Thats not going to end well" she though, since neither type affected the other. She was about to go ask him if he needed help, when she remembered that her new pokemon needed a name. She sat down, still watching the boy battling the Bidoof, and thought, and after a while decided on Juliet. The Deerling pawed its hoof on the ground in agreement. Then, they decided to go ask the boy if he needed any help, but as Hermione approached him, she hear a strange rustle in the grass hardly a meter rom the boy. Moving slowly towards it, she looked to see what it was.

Diomedes cringed at her explanation. "Ah, yes... Owch." He looked at her soaked bag. "Hm... Well, everything but biological items should be fine. Better get rid of the berries before they get eaten, but as far as I know, pokemon toxins don't linger on man-made items." He looked back to the water. "...I though I heard a Gyrados screaming a while ago. Bodies of water are... Dangerous, to say the very least."

 

"Kip~..." Mirk had decided to swim off, leaving the Goldeen to their munching as he went to investigate the lilypads. Bouncing on to one of the large green surfaces, he tapped it. Not finding anything, he jumped to the next, again hoping to find something and not succeeding. Huffing, he continued his leaping and tapping in pursuit of a new friend.

”Hey there, um, Goldeen.” Morty said with a bit of a stutter. He wasn’t that good in making new friends. After all, the only human friend he made since the start of his journey was James. He hoped to catch this Goldeen without any fighting, but if it wants a fight, he’ll be sure to oblige. Morty continued, ”I was hoping, um, maybe, you could join our team?" He reached into his backpack and got an Oran Berry, thinking that the Goldeen wouldn’t mind having a treat. He placed the Berry on his palm and stretched it out towards the Goldeen. He whispered, Cyto, can you tell what it’s thinking? Cyto replied, Well, normally, I can, but this Goldeen seems quite private. You know what I mean? Perhaps it’s shy? I don’t really know.

Sebastian looked at the rattata when it feinted and gave it pity. He picked it up and went to the water and dunked it in. After that he gave it an oran berry from a nearby tree, and fed it to him.

 

After that Sebastian and the others continued to walk. and they noticed two trainers, a guy and lady, but before they approached them Sebastian decided he wanted to find a bird. He looked in the grassy area until he heared something in the trees. Raccoon got ready for the fight.

Skit quickly flipped over in the air. Akira smiled and said "Now Skit, use growl!" Skit growled cutely. Akira knew that it was using special attack, but this was more to hopefully confuse it a bit at using a useless move. Akira then smiled and said "Tackle, the head it up with Fake out, then another tackle!" Skit nodded with a "Nya!" She then quickly went to tackle the poliwag, then use a Fake out for where ever it went, then follow up with another tackle to where ever it was after that.

"Thanks for the concern," she said, looking up at Diomedes. "Yeah, the lakes are... lakes are bad," she muttered. "Too bad it didn't get up here on the land somehow, I probably could've taken it then," she added with a laugh. "The Seaking, I mean."

 

Holly and Ziggy finally crept out of the trees, the latter giving a soft whimper when he saw his trainer. Even Snivy seemed a little concerned, but Madison simply gave them both a reassuring smile and pat. "Don't worry, I'm going to be fine. I'm just glad neither of you got hit!"

The day had arrived; actually, the day was quickly approaching. This day in particular was the day that Mia would receive her first pokemon. Now, whichever pokemon that would be could not be considered her “first” due to her life on the ranch; those that she had grown up with – the Miltanks, the Tauros, the Bouffalant – had always been her friends. Mia, who eagerly awaited the forthcoming day, had always been taught to show respect for everyone around. The stubborn ones – Tauros –, the calm ones – Miltanks –, and even the spunky ones – Ponytas – deserved her kindness and care. Her very own starter from Professor Pine would be the prime example of her cordial respect, and Mia couldn’t wait.

 

So, the eldest Sterndal child left Skiidoo Ranch with a few days to spare before arriving in Nut Town. She walked as quickly as possible, only stopping for rest and food. In her satchel she carried a sleeping bag and a one person tent, along with a pot and some ingredients for food. She wore her hat with great pride, the same amount that her grandfather carried when he wore it, and made it all the way to Route 1 before having to take a detour back to Pring Town to obtain more cooking supplies. She also bought a potion with her left over money, knowing that she would need to take care of her soon to be pokemon.

 

Only a day late, Mia Sterndal arrived in Nut Town; it was bright and early in the morning. She took a deep breath, accepting the scents around her, and smiled. Now, the day had arrived. Her little legs carried her to the laboratory, and she entered with a sheepish knock and a quick “Hey there, y’all” to every assistant she could see. Doctor Pine peeked his head out from around a corner, and called Mia over.

 

“Good mornin’, Professor.” Mia commented, her southern drawl gave a sweet tang to her voice, but never slowed her speech. “I’d suppose it’s time to get myself a pokemon.”

 

The professor smiled and motioned to a machine, the sort of one that Mia had never seen before. "This computer chooses your partner Pokemon based on your personality," explained the Professor. "Just place your hand on the scanner and it will display 3 Pokemon for your choosing."

 

At his request, Mia placed her hand on the machine and made a silent wish for the potential pokemon to come up.

stromzone ~ Bidoof got awaked by the newly arrived trainer, it didn't liked this, it was taking its "mid-morning nap" and needed it to be fresh for its "noon-nap" which was basic for its "mid-afternoon" and evening naps, now, all its schedule had been messed up due to this noisy kid! Bidoof took battle stance at the img of the newly arrived and before the boy and the purple fart with eyes (it seemed like that for Bidoof) by his side could do anything Bidoof let out a loudly Growl to scare them away... thing that didn't worked. The boy and his purple gas remained there, not only that, the boy commanded Hypnosis to the gas. Bidoof's eyes got heavy as he stared at the gas and after some more momments, it got asleep again... happily

 

theHPfreak ~ The rutling noise kept getting louder and louder ans Hermione approached the grass form where it seemed to come from. When she was closer to the sound, she could hear it approaching her, suddenly she got crashed by a running Sentret(lvl 2). The pokemon was seemingly exercising itself by running around the route and had caught up with a human. Oooh! what a great chance! now Sentret could show how strong it was by beating this big (at its eyes) human and show it to the rest of its family and friends! Sentret stared at the girl for a second and then made a few stepps back and standing on its tail it pumped its arms trying to intimidte the girl...

 

woshiico0kie ~ Goldeen came out to the surface, and noticed a boy and its pokemon floating around him. Goldeen could hear the boy saying "I was hoping, um, maybe, you could join our team?" and afterwards handing an oran berry to it. Goldeen had no idea what the boy meant by "joining his team", having lived all its life in the lake, it haven't got too many opportunities to see a human around, but if it meant it could get free food, then it was a sure thing. Goldeen nodded with a happy face and plucked the berry and ate it while looking at the kid and his pokemon...

 

dragoon1234 ~ From the trees where Sebastian's group was diggin in, a flock of Pidgeys and some Spearows flew out scared by the humans. But not all of them scaped, a wild Pidgey(lvl 3), slightly smaller than the rest of them remained on the tree and gave the trainer a defiant look as if saying "come and get me"

 

((it had appeared a Bidoof, but since stromzone is already fighting one, I thought on giving another try and then Pidgey came out... you have luck man ))

 

akiraa ~ Poliwag got dizzy by hearing all the commands the girl shouted in a second. But this was not time to get distracted, this was a fight and it was "fighting for its life". Poliwag avoided the first Tackle from the kitten pokemon, but getting her behind it, the sound wake sent by the Fake Out was a sure hit on Poliwag. The strong wave pushed Poliwag a few feet infront and then the tadpole turned letting out lots of Bubbles at the Skitty that blasted against her at the same time the kitten Tackled it. Both pokemon flew in opposite directions equally hurt from the attacks, but the difference of powers was now noticeable as Poliwag remained on the ground defeated and Skitty stood up... hardly, but stood up...

"Turtwig, the Tiny Leaf Pokémon. It undertakes photosynthesis with its body, making oxygen. The leaf on its head wilts if it is thirsty. The shell on its back is made of soil. On a very healthy Turtwig, the shell should feel moist."

 

The computer continued to spin through the slots. BEEP! The second Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Mareep, the Wool Pokémon. Mareep's fluffy coat of wool rubs together and builds a static charge. The more static electricity is charged, the more brightly the lightbulb at the tip of its tail grows."

 

Once again the computer spun its last slot. BEEP! The final Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Doduo, the Twin Bird Pokémon. Doduo's two heads contain completely identical brains. A scientific study reported that on rare occasions, there will be examples of this Pokémon possessing different sets of brains."

Skit wobbled, but stayed up. Akira sighed then pulled out another pokeball. She smiled and then tossed it at the Poliwag. Skit collapsed on the ground now, tired. She wasn't out, just tired.

Morty smiled and patted the Goldeen’s head as it accepted the Berry. Now that he had the Goldeen’s trust, he reached into his backpack for an empty PokeBall. He held out the PokeBall towards the Goldeen, thinking, and hoping, that maybe the Goldeen just might willingly let itself get captured. Cyto floated nearby, anxiously waiting the decision of the Goldfish pokemon.

"If you and your pokemon had enough stamina, probably..." Diomedes smiled, his gaze switching to Mirk as it investigated the water. "It looked pretty determined, though. Seeing your Snivy must have really ground its gears. Anyway~!" His smiled broadened. "I've got Lotad to hunt. For usually jolly pokemon, they're being awfully shy."

 

Mirk, after a few more minutes of bouncing, tapping and huffing irritatedly, came across a lilypad that wobbling, something underneath it bubbling. "Mudkip!" It called out to its trainer, standing firm until it, whatever it was, revealed itself.

Zaak then ordered Gastly to do a double hit with astonish. During this he looked back to see a girl and a Sentret. He wondered if they were battling. The girl had a strange pokemon that he couldn't recognize, but the girl, the girl had something familiar about her...

Hermione looked down at the cute thing. It was obviously trying to be tough, and she laughed as it stood up on its tail and pawed in the air. She couldn't possibly battle this, the poor thing would loose so badly, and it would have no confidence left. She walked away, calling Juliet to walk behind her. She sat down, still watching the boy with the Gastly. She thought she would introduce herself to him after his battle. What she didn't notice is that the Sentret had begun using scratch at Juliet's legs, and Juliet was just trying to ignore it. After a while Juliet, stumbled to the ground, and Hermione looked back to see that the Sentret had caused it, and now it was going for her. She screamed in pain as it scratched her ankle, asking for somebody to help. She called over to the Gastly Boy, begging for him to come help her, just as she tripped and likely sprained her ankle.

As the machine whirred through the choices, Mia let herself open her eyes after each beep to see what choices she had. Turtwig was the first pokemon to show up; she looked at it intently. Mia knew nothing about the small turtle, save that it was considered a typical starter and that it seemed to be a grass type. She closed her eyes again and waited for the next beep. Upon its sound, her brown eyes opened back up. She listened carefully to the description of Mareep, but before she had a chance to think, it seemed that the machine had already beeped again. Her hand almost instinctively went to jam the button for the third, Doduo; however, she stopped herself before jamming the button.

 

All of her life, Mia had raised Doduo. She loved them, and knew more than the average person would about the two-headed bird. Mareep, on the other hand, was a species that she had seen a few times, but they were never raised on her ranch. She was sure that the opportunity to take one of the Doduo at the Ranch may arise in the future and now, she told herself, was the time try something new and raise a pokemon that her parents had not. She pressed the button for Mareep and held her breath.

 

((I’ll also just put in the next part so I can get moving and catch up to everyone))

 

All the while, Professor Pine had been gathering the other items that Mia would need for her journey. He came over and handed her a new pokedex and 5 pokeballs. “Here you go,” He said with a smile on his face, “now, I assume you want to begin your journey ASAP to begin winning gym badges or contest ribbons right? Well, the first stop you should make is in Pring Town, a small town up to the north of here. It has no Gym or Contest Hall, but I heard there was going to be some type of tournament in the park in a couple days, so you should go there to check it out; they might not give you a badge or ribbon, but the experience will be useful to you."

 

“Thank you professor,” Mia said while taking her supplies. “but, I think I’ll just stay on route one and train for awhile, since I started off late and all." She put the pokeballs in her satchel, not yet having a belt for them, and held the pokedex in her hand. She grabbed the pokeball of her Mareep and opened it, the red stream of light forming a small yellow and blue sheep.

 

“Why hello there!" She said as the Mareep sat down on the floor with a soft plop. “Would ya’ like to get started on a journey with me?” The Mareep looked up, brown eyes glowing. “Reeeep, reep!” It baaed, with a quick nod.

 

“Alright!” Mia said, and quickly scanned the Mareep with the pokedex. It was a female, with a docile nature. The two said their goodbyes and left the laboratory within a few minutes, and soon after they found themselves sitting near the entrance of Route 1 – the beginning of their journey.

 

Within moments, Mareep's ears perked up; there was a rustling in the tall grass near by.

 

((I’m going to stop now, because this is getting a bit lengthy. I’m trying my best to catch up, and I don’t think that Mia will be taking part in the tournament, unless it’s required.))

Sebastian and the others looked up at the pidgey and Sebastian had to laugh. "You wanna play hard to get huh? Fine." Sebastian grabbed raccoon and said; "I hope you don't mind." The zigzagoon looked at his trainer confused but soon realized what was happening. Sebastian aimed raccoon at the pidgey and threw him at it. The throw should have hit it, but if the pidgey moves the zigzagoon would still land in the tree.

akiraa ~ The pokeball hit Poliwag on its belly, on the spiral and opened, dradding it inside in a red ray of light. The ball fell to the ground -holding the already defeated tadpole inside of it- shaking as its button turned red with each shake. Once.. twice... a third time, and finally a click! was heard, Poliwag had been caught!

 

Pokemon Caught: Poliwag, level 3, Calm nature, increased Sp. Defense, decreased Attack

 

woshiico0kie ~ Goldeen stared at the red and white ball that was being "offered" to it. Goldeen realized the color were close to its and so, it got happy and with a quick move of its body it pressed the button of the pokeball with its horn. The pokeball opened and dragged Goldeen inside of it in a red ray of light. The pokeball fell to the water, and somehow it remained on the surface as it shook. Once... twice... a third time... and finally click!. Goldeen had been caught!

 

Pokemon Caught: Goldeen, level 3, Docile nature, not stats modifications

 

Jeimuzu ~ Under the lillypad Mudkip was jumping, the thing moved. And it was nothing else than a sleepy Lotad(lvl 4) that was being awaked by the Mudkip and moved to see what was bothering its sleep by jumpig over it...

 

((actually, the randomizer kept throwing Bidoof, but since you already have one, I keep using it untill something different popped out... so, congrats, you got what you wanted ))

 

stromzone ~ Bidoof got scared for say the less at the Astonishs of the Ghastly. It was now awfully considering to run, after all, it was only a nap what it was missing, nothing to worry about, it could have another nap to gather strength later. That if it could cause some damage to this gastly () pokemon to stun it and scape. Bidoof gathered some confidence and tried to Tackle the Ghastly, only to found itself going through it. This didn't worked how it wanted, but maybe it could scape now, so it began running. Little it could do for a scape since after a couple feet of the run it crashed against the boy and was now trapped between him and the Ghastly...

 

theHPfreak ~ hermione could scream as much as she wanted, but that wasn't going to set her free from the Mighty Sentret Attack, an attack that Sentret had been creating from some time now and it consisted on Scratching its foe several times in a row. Sentret kept Scratching the girl and her pokemon taking turns on each of them to assure its victory, if she didn't fight back, her pokemon would probably get really hurt...

 

Shijou-san ~ The rustling in the grass kept getting noiser and noiser untill finally, out of it came a wild Patrat(lvl 3) that stared at the trainer and the sheep by her side...

 

dragoon1234 ~ Pidgey could see the Zigzagoon "flying" towards it. This didn't scared or at least bothered it, Pidgey just made a few steps to a side and let the racoon to fall on the tree brach. Now, defenseless by being there, Pidgey Growled at him and Tackled the Zigzagoon so hard that the racoon fell from teh tree, Pidgey behind him, both on the ground. Pidgey, having landed on the Zigzagoon took less damage, but still, it was damaged, so it flew a few feet backwards awaiting its foe's next move...

 

Me ~ The day Kaiser was about to start his journey had arrived, it was 9am and he was still sleeping... suddenly the alarm clock started to break his fine sleep -BEEEP BEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP- "Ok, Ok, I'm up already! cant you see?" said Kaiser as he was turning off the clocks alarm...

 

It was a nice morning and he could see threw his room's window that it was the perfect day to begin his journey "Sweet, today is the day I finally go out of this house to me a Pkmn Trainer" he thought and got up the bed heading to the bathroom ... after a long good shower, and clothing, he was ready to go out... "it was a good thing that I got my backpack ready last night, otherwise i would be late to the lab, lets see... Cloths - OK, Socks? ill need lots of them -OK, here thay are, Jacket? huh? wheres my jacket? -looks around the room- ??? where is it!!! -lifts hands waiting for an answer ro fall from the sky and notices his arms- ow! here it is -OK then, extra shoes-OK here they are... mm guess thats all...well, lets go..." when he was walking down the stairs, he realized he had forgotten something and quickly went back to his room, he put the backpack on the floor and from down his bed he took a medium sized box with a pokeball badge on it "if I were to forgot this, the journey wouldnt be complete" said Kaiser putting the box in his backpack... but.. what does this box have in it...

 

He goes down his room to the living room and after an emotional talk with his parents.... specially his Mom... he says good bye with tears in his eyes... "Good Bye! I promise I'll call often!" he says as he waves his hand, turns around and after a few steps... "Hey! I have no money!" -returns running to his hom and asks his parents for the money... "Ha! I thought youll realize soon!" says his Dad with a smile in his face, "Here take this" hands him a roll of money "Now go, or it will be to late for you to choose a pokemon" ends saying his Dad and pushes him to the road, "Thanks Dad!" says Kaiser wavin his hand at his parents and continuing on his journey... "Take care my boy!" says a voice at the distance.. "Oh Mom why you had to shout it out loud :/ " thinks Kaiser recognizing the voice to be his Mom's...

 

After a short walk he arrives to the Prof. Pine's lab... -knocks on door- "Professor! open the door! im here! quickly open! stop sleeping already and open!" says him trying to hurry the oldman... -door opens- "Ah Kaiser! youre finally here! I thought you got cold feet!" says Professor to him "... ¬¬ and... why would that be?" asks Kaiser with a :uhhuh: face... "Oh... well.. nothing, its just a joke.. °~° " says Professor Pine... "..ooookay..." says Kaiser still looking at Professor Pine with a numb face ...anybody else that would watch this scene would thought that Prof. Pine was afraid of the teenager, but it actually was the way they treat each other, knowing each other froms years since Kaiser studied from Prof. Pine's notes after he knew everything he could from the books, he wotked at Prof. Pine's lab as an assitant helping him specially with the dragon types that arrived to the old mans lab... "WOW! Professor this Gyarados is HUGE!... look at the size of that Charizard's wings! ... I want a Salamance too! ... this Kingdra doesnt like me! °~°" those were some of the memories(with images included) Prof. Pine remembered the moment he saw the youngster-now a teenager that helped him for so much long years...

 

"anyway, come in, Im sure you already know the way, but, thats the machine that will determine your starter pokemon" said the professor to Kaiser pointing at a big computer/slot machine looking thing on a side of the lab "Ok!" says Kaiser as he walked to the machine and as he was in front of it images of the potential dragon types he would like as his partner crossed his head... "I want a Black Charizard!" he thought, of course he knew that wouldn't be possible, the machine only selected first stage pokemon, but it was nice to believe he could get a rare pokemon like that...

 

"Ok now, place your hand here and itll select the partners that fits you better" said Prof. Pine to Kaiser, "Ok!" said him as he put his hand on the place and images started to roll on the machines monitor...

 

The screen whirled around black shapes of potential Pokemon. Like a casino slot machine, the three slots started to fill up with the dark sillouetts. BEEP! The first pokemon appeared and the computer spoke.

 

"Togepi, the Spike Ball Pokémon. Togepi is filled with an energy that makes people happy. When treated well, Togepi shares this energy with others, but when it comes near a human with an impure heart this energy quickly disappears, leaving Togepi exhausted."

 

The computer continued to spin through the slots. BEEP! The second Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Bagon, the Rock Head Pokémon. Bagon dreams of being able to fly through the air. When frustrated from not flying, Bagon uses its head to smash rocks into powder."

 

Once again the computer spun its last slot. BEEP! The final Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Trapinch, the Ant Pit Pokémon. Trapinch dig cone-shaped holes in desert areas. Its large and powerful jaws are capable of crushing stones."

 

 

"hmmm Togepi, Bagon and Trapinch" said Kaiser looking at the machine's screen and thought for a momment "... if this thing chooses the options accordig to my presonality.. and interest I suppose... I really like how it offers me Trapinch and Bagon, sice both of them are dragon types, or will evolve in a dragon... but... where did this thing took Togepi out of me!" shouted Kaiser looking at the spiky ball... "hey, dont take it bad, maybe its just something to have variety and you dont have to choose it if you dont want to" said Prof. Pine trying to calm down the boy... "hmm... maybe your right... anyway... lets see... Togepi is out of question the last choice I would take, but Bagon and Trapinch are very good options, Trapinch can use earth moves and its ability will let have a pokemon I want to catch trapped until I do... or it faints... and Bagon is such a cool option! I mean, look at the guy! it sure looks defiant! and when it evolves to Salamance almost no pokemon can meet its speed, and he looks like a bad guy too..."

 

after thinking for a while he finally makes his choice "I know, I want this guy!" presses a button and the pokeball slides to him, he takes it and opens it calling his first pokemon out: "Gon, gon, Baaagon!!!" said the little dragon as was taken out of the ball "hey little dude, im Kaiser, will be partners from now on ^^" said Kaiser as he kneeled down saluting his new partner with a smile... "Gon?... Bagon!!!" said the pkmn saying hi to his trainer as he rammed him with its head pushing Kaiser to a wall " !!! are you ok?!" said Prof. Pine worried about the boy who slammed the wall with his back "... yeah... im allright" said Kaiser barely breathing and standing difficultly while rubbing his chest "I guess its his way to say he's happy to know me.. right Bagon?" "Gon, gon! Bagon, Bagon!" replyed the little dragon smiling and hopping happily "See? hes happy" said Kaiser to Prof. Pine ... "phew! well... at least your ok" said the professor who was more worried about the health of the boy than the happines of the pokemon "by the way Kaiser, why you keep saying "him" are you sure its male? I mean, you just met it..." "hmm... yeah, its true, but I believe his a male right Bagon?" he said facing the tiny dragon "Bagon, Bagon" said the small dragon nodding "see? he's male" said Kaiser who apparently was sure of that from the start

 

"Ok little fella, lets go! we have a World to Conquer! ... :bah: ... I mean... an adventure to start" said Kaiser pointing at the door and walking towards it with Bagon by his side ... "ehem! arent you forgetting something?" said Prof Pine as the new travelers departured "huh? oh yeah!" Kaiser kneeled down and faced Bagon and said "I guess you shold come back here -pointing to the pokeball- its for you to not get tired ok?" said Kaiser to Bagon and he nodded "Bagon, Bagon" said the little dragon the momment he was turned into a beam and dragged into the ball as he was saying good bye, Kaiser put tha ball away in his belt and was heading towards the door again ... "hmmm... that too, but I wasnt talking about that" said Prof. Pine "... !!! oh yeah!" he runs back to Prof. Pine and shakes his hand energically Thanks a lot professor! it really means a lot to me! thank you, thank you thank you!" said Kaiser to professor Pine "thats ok!" said Prof. Pine as he was getting dizzy for the energy of the boy "but, I was talking about where you're going" Kaiser stopped to "thank you, thank you" to Prof. Pine and got serous for a momment "its true, I don't know where do I have to go... hmmm can you tell me?" said Kaiser with thoughtfull face. Prof Pine said "well, Pring Town is just a day on foot ahead, and they'll be having a tournament of some sort there tomorrow, so I guess it is the best option for you now" Kaiser nodded and engaged on his journey "ok, first stop Pring Town!" said and started to walk in its direction...

Akira did a bit of a happy dance and picked up the pokeball. She then said "I'll call you Swirl!" She then yawned, then said "Skit, We'll make dinner than go to bed." Skit nodded and said "Nya..." In agreement. Akira chuckled then started finding random berries. She then cooked them up into a berry stew, which She then grabbed some bowls she packed, seven of them to be precice,m And used 5 of them, where she then equally divided the stew, then let all of her pokemon out. All exept Swirl were awake, and Akira carefully woke Swirl up. They all, except Skit, looked at her rather sad. Akira felt sad, but still smiled and handed all her pokemon a bowl, then grabbed one herself. She smiled more and said "I know, you are sad now, but I promise, one day we'll all be good friends!" The pokemon sighed, except for Skit who said "Nya!" Both Skit and Akira then dug into there food, while the others first sniffed, then carefully took a bite, before chowing down. Once everyone was done, Akira smiled and said "Alright, its time for bed!" She then pulled out the four pokeballs and said "Now, I will call your name, and then put you in your pokeball! So that we can situate names! First I'll tell you, my name is Akira Inoue." Akira smiled and said "I am happy you'll all be my friends and partners." She then Said "Alright, Skit your first." With a Nya from Skit, Akira pushed the button on the pokeball, and Skit was then put in it in a beam of red light. Akira carefully stashed the pokeball in the pokemon pocket. She then picked up another and said "Swirl!" The little Poliwag was then put away for the night. Next was Imi, then Rat. Once they were all tucked away, Akira went to bed herself.

It was late in the afternoon before Madison could really begin walking again. She, Ziggy and Holly were taking a more scenic route, through the forest. As frightening as the encounter with the Seaking was, the forest would certainly not hold any fish-like pokemon... if she was lucky, none would be poisonous.

 

She almost jumped when she heard a rustling in the bushes. Snivy and Ziggy immediately turned around, ready to fight.

((Gosh it must really suck to be me. Everybody’s getting what wild pokemon they want. ))

 

Morty stood up straight and heaved a sigh of relief. He said, Well that was close, wasn’t it? Cyto replied, Well I don’t really mind having to fight it. But well, I guess it’s still better this way. Cyto chuckled. Morty picked up the PokeBall that contained the Goldeen and called it out. The Goldeen splashed into the water in a flash of white light. Morty took out his PokeDex and pointed it towards his newly acquired Goldeen, letting the PokeDex scan it. Morty said with a smile, ”I’ll name you, Sakura.” Sakura swam around happily as she accepted her name.

 

In a beam of red light, Sakura returned to her PokeBall and Morty resumed his journey to Prig Town. He asked Cyto, Do you want to train some more for the tournament? I'm still not very sure if we should participate... Cyto replied, I'm fine with training. But I also think we should participate in the tournament, you know, to gain some experience? It won't matter if we lose. It's all about the feel of the tournament. Encouraged by his pokemon's wise words, Morty straightened his back and went on his way, with Cyto floating beside him of course.

He exclaimed, We're finally here! Prig Town! Let's go to the Pokemon Center to get you guys healed up first, all right? Cyto nodded and both of them proceeded to the Pokemon Center.
