Lineage Advice

I picked up a very nice lineage Black Marrow over Halloween, and I have an idea what pattern her mate needs to be. However, I'm uncertain on the breed. What breeds might go well with this? http://dragcave.net/lineage/cktho

Maybe like this? (Or a Colossus instead of the Gaia, that would probably be even better to replace the Frill. Except if you have a CB female Frill to use, then that's the best option of course. )

I'm not sure about the Nebula, sadly there's nothing perfect to match a Marrow.

I'd use Pyros because of the flame, but I think Mageias or Cassares would also look great.

Golden Wyvern come to my mind. The dark wings... the pose...

 

You could also give Harvest a try. Gold and Bronze Lunars are also great if you ask me.

 

I would also suggest Luminas but they are more white and shining elegance then bronze.

Like Confused Cat suggested but instead of Purple Nebulas the new Halloweens?

Not sure about male Brutes instead of the Purple Nebulas could also work.

I've had this female Silver Shimmer for some months now. I think her lineage is quite pretty, but am at a loss of what she could work well with... any ideas? I'm content if she never has a mate, but was just curious. c:

I'd go Desipis paired with Bronze Lunar Herald, or Desipis paired with a brown Copper, personally. If you like either option, I can breed a second gen from either type for you.

I do indeed have a male/female pair of CB Frills on my scroll. I like the way this image looks. I think someone above mentioned Spirit Ward dragons (not sure if they were referring to me or someone else) so I might use those in place of the nebulas. Partly since with a nebula I would need to be sure the egg grew up into a purple one. Thanks.

Spirit Wards and Embers would make a good replacement for marrows. My friend, Motoki, has a CB Female Frill, MEuw, and is willing to breed it to help, if you are needing.

I just traded for this egg (it's so pretty!), but I don't know if I should influence it male or female? And regardless which way I point it, I'm not sure I'd even be able to find a mate for it (b/c 3g Holly, omg!). Suggestions are welcome!

 

Also, I have this Holly, which was gifted to me (my favorite gift ) as an uninfluenced hatchie, so of course it gendered wrong. I'd love to be able to get some assistance or suggestions on a proper mate for him, as well as for him.

I have this lovely little Dark rose lineage, and well this particular tinsel gendered wrong so should I breed him with a white female to make a stairstep? or do something else? (suggestions)

You could also seek another Tinsel of the same length opposite stair (male Tinsels x female common), influence it female and end up with something that looks like this. The only problem with that is that, for me at least, it effectively ends the lineage at that point because the only mate that would work is another with the same pattern.

That's really up to you. I went to 13, with this one, but I think I prefer them a bit shorter.

Tough decision there. Either one would be very impressive, but I think I like the second one better because of the Tinsels and Shimmers.

That helps a lot cause I wanted to keep it on one page, without having to slide over when the two halves merged. So I can get three more rungs on the ladder.

DC's lineage viewer only shows 12 generations on a page, so mine does not show the first generation.

Looking at the ND viewer I think I have to agree with you. The Shimmer does match better. The Thuwed is pretty but the colour isn't as good; I think she's going to have to wait a little longer for her mate.

I was going to say Sunset before I actually looked at them, but after seeing that I changed my mind. I really like the Sunrise with RB. Not only do the colors seem better together but the pose is better, too.
