if i was succeeding in stealing all the cold air, why would i be constantly hot, and complaining about the heat and humidity.... and running my AC all summer?

Technically AC is stealing cold air though, don't they get super hot on the outside part? A macdonalds near us has one and you can always feel really warm air blowing out of it at the back.

Because if you took it outside with you, people would notice you had it. The cloud of condensation would give it away, then you'd be accused of being a witch.
