Posted April 5, 2012 He grumbled, pulling the reins of his skeletal horse. The fiery mane of the horse reflected off the freezing snow. Little of the horse's pelt remained, only patches on her neck and back. Fire replaced the long tail, mane, and fur around her hooves. Streams of smoky breath rose into the crisp air from both the horse and her rider. "Don't worry, we will find them, Midnight" Gordon hissed as he pulled the cloak's hood over his head, covering his pale skin and dark green hair. Midnight snorted and continued trotting down the cold trail. As they rode toward the town, he pulled out his knife, its handle carved from bone. "Halt." The Breton came to a stop and let her owner dismount. He slid the knife back into its sheath and pushed open the door of the wooden door of the tavern. It was quiet, that must meant something had recent happened. He paused at the doorway to look around before seating himself at a empty table, though he had no plans on eating. Feeling eyes watching him, Gordon glanced over his shoulder. This must be the place. Shooing away a bar maid with a wave of his hand, he walked over to the bar. A elf was staring at him, not surprising since the cloaked figure was around seven feet tall. A low growl rumbled in his throat, causing the elf to scurry away. The neigh of a horse came from outside, must be from Midnight for the purple gem on his sword's hilt glittered. Though he ignored it and pretended to read the menu, listening on the two girl's conversation. Oh? What was that? Gordon placed the menu onto the counter and stood up. That was most certainly a child's laugh. His glowing, bright green google lens flashed under the cloak's hood. But what table? Midnight neighed once again outside, followed by the crunch of hooves hitting snow. "Where? Where is it?" he hissed as he placed a hand on his sword's hilt.
