NOTE: I am NOT accepting any Fledgling sheets as of March 26th, 2011 until we get more Teachers, Raven Mockers, or Sons of Erebus'. We have too many Fledglings and not enough teachers for the classes, so for now, the applications for them are closed. You may, however, send me a Fledgling character sheet and LET ME KNOW that you want them added after I accept them again. If you don't, they will be ignored and deleted. Thank you! Short Plot: At the House of Night, a vampyre finishing school, many unusual things have been happening. First, a newish fledging has discovered she has an affinity for all five of the elements: wind, fire, water, earth, and spirit. She also has multiple tattoos over her body (besides the one on her forehead) meaning she is personally blessed by the Goddess Nyx. A fallen angel named Kalona has walked from the ground, along with his children the Raven Mockers. The Raven Mockers are half-man, half-bird, and eat humans and vampyres alike. The angel himself is a beautiful man, but likes to rape women and turn men into his slaves. Neferet, the school's High Priestess and supposed-protector is working together with Kalona. Will you fall for Kalona's spell and turn evil, or help some of the fledgings turn Kalona and his Raven Mockers back to the Earth (which he hates) where he belongs? Story: "Hey Zoey, what are we going to do about you-know-who?" Damien asked. "We can't just let him keep going around the school turning the girls into his little toys and the boys into his slaves. We need another plan." Right then, a group of new fledgings walked into the building, alone. No sign of Neferet. Zoey nodded her head to the group and Damien, Zoey, Shanuee, Erin, and Stevie Rae walked over. "Hello. I'm Zoey Redbird, and this is Shanuee and Erin, Damien, and Stevie Rae. What are your names?" The kids looked around nervously, and Zoey cut to the point, explaining everything about Kalona. "So, will you help us?" Rules: 1) No swearing. 2) No killing off other players without their permission. 3) You may have a boyfriend/girlfriend, but please keep the romance PG-13. 4) Blood/gore is welcome, but again, only PG-13. 5) You may have unlimited characters, but one-three is prefered. 6) Please have at least two paragraphs per post, so we can keep this Semi-Lit. 7) No God-Modding (controlling other people's characters) 8) No making your character high and mighty, and unable to defeat. 9) Please, when you sign up, post your dorm number. 10) No fighting OOC. Suddenly she heard a mrow from Me No Hoshi and said "What do you want?" Me No Hoshi said "I want you to pay attention and not nap. Napping is for cats." Posted February 28, 2011 Lexi hurried her way through the halls, dodging students coming from the opposite direction, trying not to trip over cats and whatever else was hanging around on the floor. Grumbling under her breath, Lexi brushed her bangs from her eyes and tucked her hair behind her ear as she stood by her first class, Archery 1. She always loved Archery ever since her parents introduced it to her one summer. As soon as she got the option to pick her classes, she decided to take this one in a heartbeat. And because of it being only Archery 1, she knew she'd get a good grade because it'd be a piece of cake, though she didn't know what this class had to offer for her. Taking a deep breath, Lexi stepped inside of the classroom, immediately seeing different students and bows and arrows and targets. Smiling slightly, she thought to herself, This is gonna be a good class... I can tell. Looking over to a group of students who were handling bows and arrows and most likely being taught the basics, Lexi decided to go and listen to refresh her memory. Me no Hoshi, not wanting to learn french, padded off and Akira laughed to herself at her cat. She then watched as the teacher said "Bonjour, bonsoir. Je suis votre professeur de *insert name here*. Enchanté de vous rencontrer. Or for those of you who haven't learned any french yet. Hello, good evening. I am your teacher *insert name here*. Pleased to meet you." Lexi rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as she heard an instructor demonstrate how to hold the bow and arrow and how to shoot. She shook her head. "Easy stuff..." she mumbled under her breath. The teacher looked at her, a mean look in his eye, and said, "Why don't you give it a shot if you think it's so easy?" Lexi smiled to herself and plucked the bow from the instructor and took an arrow, taking a stance a few feet away from a target. Students have gathered around, most likely seeing what the new student had in her when it came to archery. Lexi wasn't nervous, but she really hoped she didn't completely miss her mark in front of all these people. She closed one eye and focused on the target, aiming for the bulls eye, and pulled back the arrow. She let out a low breath and held it as she released the bow and watched the arrow slice through the air, not hitting the bulls eye, but not missing it by much. She turned around and smiled at the teacher again, loving how dumbfounded he looked. "I like this class." She said to herself as she gave the bow and arrow back to the teacher, some of the students clapping at her shot. She walked over to the target and pulled out her arrow, a bit surprised at herself. She hadn't done archery in a year or so, so she was expecting to do poorly because she was just warming up with it again. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 28, 2011 Akira couldn't help but yawn as the teacher explained the vocabulary rules of french. It was quite boring. She noticed another students cat sitting by the said student she guessed. The cat looked at her and said "Yes?" Akira a little startled it talked to her without a promp said "Nothing." The teacher and all the students looked at her funny and Akira blushed and she heard the cat laugh at her. "Um... I... was just replying to the cat." She said pointing at the cat the teacher raised an eybrow and said "Replying to the cat, répondant à la cat. Immposible... unless..." She raised and eyebrow and Akira stammered out "I can un.. understand c... cats and other an.. animals." The teacher just nodded and said "Then please don't converse with the animals in class Ms.Inoue." Akira just nodded blushing and sinking into her seat. Share this post Link to post

Also, about the shape-shifting power, do I keep it or should I change it? ^^'] Holly Blue slipped into the classroom just in time to see Lexi nail the target. She mouthed a hello and tossed her messenger bag into a corner of the classroom. It landed with a thump and much clattering of books and pencils and things. Blue grinned sheepishly at the teacher and ran her fingers through her short, spiky hair. “Alright everyone, please select a bow and a quiver - with arrows – and choose a target,” the teacher announced. “I will now be reviewing how to shoot.” Blue bounced over to the rack of bows, riffled through a stack, and pulled out one. She placed the bows she’d knocked down hapzhardly back onto the shelf and slung a quiver of arrows on her shoulder. “Everyone, when you’re ready, please try a practice shot. I will observe your ability,” the teacher intoned. Blue ran a finger down the polished yew bow and fit the arrow to the bow. She raised an eyebrow at the teacher, who nodded.
