How many hatcheries do YOU use?

Recommended Posts

I used to only use EATW and occasioanlly AonD. Now that EATW is gone, I primarily rely on AoND and Valley Sherwood.

I use Evina's DragHatch + the Hatching Club if any of my eggs/hatchlings are in need of additional views.

Heads-up, in case (as I suspect) you happen to be putting your eggs into the hatchery immediately: Eggs are much more resilient if you don't put them into hatcheries for the first ~24 hours. That's why you can see a lot of people here mentioning the use of several hatcheries - it's quite fine to use several after about a day has passed! ^_^

I use two for eggs and four for hatchlings. (Egg Drop Soup, Dragon Breeders Cave, Valley Sherwood, Allure of Neglected Dragons.) I used to put both eggs and hatchling in four hatcheries but because of the constant egg sickness, I switched to two for the eggs.

I regularly use 4 for my eggs and hatchlings,  AoND, Valley Sherwood, Evina's and EDS, but I never add them in the first 20 hours. New eggs and new hatchlings are always fogged for their first 20 hours. Apart from Zyus, my little ones don't get sick, and I seem to be getting better with the Zyus.

Apart from Zyus, I fog hatchlings as soon as they gender, and they grow to adulthood when I unfog them at 4 days.

I'm good at taking precautions because I try to raise all my babies with 0-clicks.

I'm new here, but I use DragHatch, The Hatching Club and Silvi's Lair after they hit 6 days. Sometimes they get sick, but they're usually fine and none died thus far.

I really only use Allure of Neglected Dragons but I might start using more than one soon so i'm just kind of searching for recommendations

To be honest, I like to use just one and I even wait more than 24 hours before adding my things anywhere. When they have anything between 6 to 5 days left and if I'm planning to keep them, I put them on AoND and they hatch just fine as soon as they hit the 4-day mark. This works well for me and there's no risk of sickness, unless my scroll gets attacked by some malevolent person.

Sometimes I don't add them anywhere before they are old enough to hatch (maybe I was trying to trade the egg, or just forgot when I got it) and only then put them on AoND's and Evina's ERs. I like those two best because you can choose to add the dragon just to the low time viewer. They will hatch quite fast, depending on the time of day, and without getting sick. If I'm considering trading them as hatchies, I will have plenty of time to try my luck before they could grow up with such low views.

If I have a low-time egg with very few views (usually something I incubated or caught from the AP) and am feeling impatient, I might add it to Valley Sherwood, Silvi's and Hatching Club as well. Most often I remove them from any additional sites after they have hatched. I also do that with things I got by trading and that have already gained some views, whether they're eggs or hatchies. I prefer raising my dragons by getting them the necessary amount of views only because personally I just find it to be the simplest way. 😸

I used to stuff my eggs in literally every hatchery just because. Even when they inevitably softshelled I just fogged them until they recovered and left them in. A lot of my dragons have an... absurd amount of views for it, lol. I wanted them to mature as quickly as possible as hatchlings. It was to the point where I even had a lot of hatchling sickness going on.

When Valley Sherwood, Hatching Club and Dragon Breeders Cave went down in July, I of course couldn’t do that until they were put back online, so I kind of just got out of the habit even after the former two were fixed. Nowadays I pretty much just use Allure, put the eggs in anywhere between 6d 10h to 5d 22d and leave them in until they have enough UVs to grow up and they’re usually good. Haven’t had a softshell or sick hatchling since. I occaaionally use DragHatch as a backup, and Silvi’s if I need an extra backup.

I've been using 3 hatcheries (Allure, Silvi's, Valley Sherwood) until recently where I swapped to DragHatch exclusively due to their security features.

I love how you don't have to unhide your scroll to add your dragons on there since they have API login to secure your scroll so randoms can't add your dragons. My scroll hasn't been viewbombed to death personally to actually need the security features but I appreciate the privacy nonetheless. More hatcheries should implement something similar in my opinion.

Currently I use Allure of Neglected Dragons and DragHatch.

If I need more views I'll post the dragons on the discord server in designated channel.

I use 2 hatcheries, Egg Drop Soup and Hatching Club if i use any more the eggs get sick sometimes... and depending on the age they get sick with 2..
People here are using the term "soft shells" does that mean sick? Does it have any affect on the dragon when they hatch? :0c

Yes that means sick. And they can hatch sick, too.
