Posted January 15, 2011 yeah, same thing, this ever happen to you, like in lowes and walmart the people that work there they follow you everywere, like your going to steal,then act like there not by picking up a can of tuna!!and just staring at it. what the hell is so interesting about tuna, and i got em back for that, i followed them, this one dude in lowes i followed him even in the on area behind the customer service counter, lol, i even messed they store up, like pulling on the ropes they got and walk away, they just keep unraveling into the floor. Some day I'm going to explode and start yellin at him. Also: Popular Kids at school. They think they're such big shots when they don't know a ****ing thing about anything. I just want to watch my damn show and don't need someone shoving a chia pet, denture cream, weight loss, and debt free offers in my face. And it's bad since they apparently sync them through all channels. I could just switch to another show, but no. It's on commercial too. I don't see how any commercial is going to make me jump up and go "OH MY GOD I NEED THAT PRODUCT NOW!!" I especially hate how commercials are LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE on TV. That tactic just makes me angry, and even less likely to purchase their products.... And as far as the most annoying commercials "Talk to your doctor about *medicine name* and see if it's right for you" You go in and tell your doctor "I saw this commercial about this prescription medicine and think you should prescribe me it". No. A doctor prescribes you what they think is going to help. They're not going to go "You know what, I had no idea about this medicine, since I am obviously not a licensed professional who had to do a ridiculous amount of extra years of school to get here, I am definitely going to prescribe it to you since you saw it on a TV commercial." And the other bad part about them, the side effects. Do I need to know about this prescription medicine that has side effects of "cough, flu, sore throat, shooting blood out your eyes, seizures, death, rapid heart beat, a dragon suddenly appearing out of no where and eating you, dry eyes, excessive sweating, oh yah, did we mention death?, diarrhea, upset stomach, sleeplessness, death again lol" And I especially don't need to know about "if your 'problem' lasts more than 4 hours, go to an emergency room immediately" TOO MUCH INFORMATION. Posted January 16, 2011 I really feel dumb up until I saw my dad muting TV commercials. They bug with how how often they show up. What they actually advertise doesn't bother me, it's just they come on every 10 minutes and commercials go for a solid 3-5 minutes. Muting them totally made TV easier to deal with. I've seen one for asthma medicine, and one of the side effects was asthma-related death. Not to mention there are medicines for, erm, "grown-up things" on kids channels. I also get annoyed by: -People that call me a wimp because I can't stand the sight of blood -People that say things similar to: "If you don't worship me for having this award then don't talk to me." -Buzzing insects. Posted January 17, 2011 Well, it can also be that they didn't know what to make their username, and then after a while they realized that maybe they found the best username to use ever, just that they can't change it, and that's why they want people to call them that instead. Posted January 17, 2011 You can change your username in your profile though. If they want people to call them that, they should change their username. As it happens you can't. As far as I'm aware the only way to change your actualy username is to PM TJ and ask him to do it. It's the custom member title you can change. Share this post Link to post
