Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Yuuuus! Me too! They're so good but sadly underappreciated. Who's your favorite character? I like Kate. Edited December 11, 2010 by cookiejar33 Share this post Link to post
Posted December 12, 2010 She's mine too. I love her bucket, lol. So random, yet so useful. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 12, 2010 IKR!!! I totally wish I was her. It would be so awesome. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 12, 2010 Do you know Mr. Benedict's first name? Could you figure out the code? Share this post Link to post
Posted December 12, 2010 I looked up morse code online. It's Nicholas. I used to know a few morse code letters by heart. I could spell my name and all that. Now I don't know any. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 13, 2010 I know, but where did you get the actual dashes and dots? Share this post Link to post
Posted December 15, 2010 ooooooh! I get it now. I'm pretty sure it's on the back cover of the book, if you've got it in paperback. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 16, 2010 I love the books. I got so into it I made a whole poster about Morse Code. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 17, 2010 I've only read the second book. Is the third good? Share this post Link to post
Posted December 18, 2010 The third is good, but I like the first best. It has a nice ending, but I wasn't quite satisfied. It's worth your time reading it, though. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) I agree. The first is the ( )=~* !!! I am also a Kate fan. I want a hawk like her. It's on my Christmas list, but I really doubt I'll get one. Edited December 23, 2010 by pokemonrock123 Share this post Link to post
Posted December 24, 2010 Ooh, I loOOOOVE this series. The First is my favorite, then the third, then the second. I actually like both kate and constance...never really was a fan of sticky. Constance <3 lol. Kate's bucket is awesome. The first one was the most exciting, being them infiltrating the institute...;3 the following two really didn't have that sense of huge adventure for me. Posted December 25, 2010 I started that but I never finished. It failed to draw me in. How far in would you say I have to read to get an idea of the book? Share this post Link to post
Posted December 26, 2010 Just read the whole thing. You won't know how anything ends if you don't, 'cause most of the book builds up and is full of mysteries. Second book's my favorite. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 26, 2010 A book called the Mysterious Benedict Society is full of mysteries? I never would have guessed! Share this post Link to post
Posted December 26, 2010 Eh, that too. @cookiejar: In the back of the book? But what about hardcover? Wouldn't that kinda be dumb, to say that there was a code to crack and not printing it? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 14, 2011 i like either kate or milligan... they r so random yet cool... I'm happy that they got theyr family back, but does it ever talk about her mom? Share this post Link to post
Posted November 10, 2011 Kate is awesome. I like Milligan too. You read his account of how he escaped from the waiting room in book 1? Epic. I like this quote: Milligan - "Constance, hold this flashlight." Constance - "But I don't WANT to hold the flashlight!" Share this post Link to post
Posted July 6, 2012 I loved this series, I'm sure any kid would like to read them. Share this post Link to post
