I can't express how excited I am right now! All of these ideas will be very useful and hopefully make playing this game more enjoyable.

New hatchling/egg limit? This is -brilliant-! There's always a time when I need just one more space and this will certainly cure my tendency to rip my hair out in frustration during those times!

Fertility? Yes. Just yes. This is so perfect. I'm making a huge geode lineage right now, and it's incredibly irritating when two dragons get the "no egg" message over and over, stalling the whole project.

Biomes? I'm curious to see how this turns out. Hopefully this will solve many of the issues people have been complaining about and I'm glad the location of the rares won't be an issue.

Refusals and RarexRare? The former will help so much with breeding, and while the latter has never really interested me, I'm happy for those that wanted it!

Renaming? Time to finally rename those pesky spelling errors! I'm pleased that this was finally resolved, BSA or not.

S1 freezing? YES. I need this so much, since my scroll goal includes two S1 hatchlings for each breed. I can't tell you how many times I've had to freeze yet another hatchling because a previous one grew wings! This was especially frustrating when my two ungendered frozen pumpkins grew wings after I had painstakingly watched the view count to make sure it didn't get too high.

Scroll Pages? Fantastic! Hopefully with a little sorting my scroll won't be as lengthy, making it so much easier to load the page. My computer is getting on years and my scroll is rather long, which makes this a big problem for me!

Teleport? I'm a bit divided over this one, but I'm glad that there won't be any more sad faces after a failed trade.

Vampire Lineages? Sounds like a nice addition! It might motivate me to bite more eggs, too.

All in all, a great bunch of ideas TJ! Thank you so much!

People are refusing to breed hollies over this?

Now, I honestly don't mean to sound like a jerk here, but a few users refusing to breed a rare dragon isn't going to stop new features from being implimented.

I'm not saying its not their right to have control over their dragons breeding, its just that is seems petty and won't really change anything. :/

Well, I'm not happy about Teleport,

but there's nothing I can do about it.

Do we know if Teleport will have a 100% success rate or is there chance for failure?

I'm fairly sure its 100%. failure isn't mentioned anywehere, so I assume its that, anyway.

I like the new changes, hopefully I will be able to own a rare dragon. I've never traded before, but I like the sound of Teleport better than abandoning and trying to grab. smile.gif

Alright...

Somebody on another website said something about a small chance of failure,

so... I'm making sure they don't have any actual basis for that assumption. xd.png

Cool I'm looking forward to the new things once they are implemented! This news post is full of win! Now I need to find some golds and silvers that are not inbred. I'm so looking forward to teleport now may be I can get those golds and silvers that I want. Thanks TJ you just made my day!

And someone not breeding their Holly just because they can only be sure of where more than 1 offspring is going is not petty? That's kind of like saying "I'm not going to donate to people in need because I can't be sure it's going to go to only the needy people I like!"

Just sayin tongue.gif

Yes it is petty, but guess what.. it is their dragon. They decide if they want to breed the dragon or not breed the dragon. It is far more "petty" for everyone else to jump on that person and harass the heck out of them for having asserted their right to not breed their dragon if that is what they want to do. If people don't like the "reason" they based their decision on --- tough. They don't have to justify their reason to anyone.

It means they will never breed with each other.

Once the changes are made, once a pair refuses the next time you want to breed one or the other, the one that refused will not show up on the choice page. ,so that you won't accidentally breed dragons that have already refused and waste a week of fertility!

Thanks, that makes sense

Ok question about how many eggs you can get can you have up to 12 total of hatchlings and eggs (obviously combined) or is that just 4/5/6/7 eggs and 12/15/18/21 total hatchlings? I don't quite get how he has it mentioned.

you can't get more than 4/5/6/7 eggs (depending on your level). The number of total growing dragons can't exceed 12/15/18/21.

So for example, if you were at base level 4/12. you could potentially have 4 eggs and 8 hatchlings (4+8=12) or you could have 1 egg and 11 hatchlings (1 + 11 = 12) or any combination in between as long as you don't exceed 4 eggs.

I'm sooooooo looking forward to more egg/hatchie slots! *hugs gold trophy* biggrin.gif

But the irreverant part of my brain wonders how long it will take before people are complaining that 7 egg slots is NOT ENUF DAMMIT! /silly mood

I don't see anyone harassing the people who don't want to breed their Hollies. Just as it's their right to withhold their dragon from breeding it's our right to point out how silly it seems to some of us other DC players. No need to get hostile /:

About the teleport...

Tj says: "Up to four eggs/hatchlings at a time," ... does that mean your magi can carry up to four eggs all to one scroll, or will they be like Santa and visit up to 4 scrolls, dropping a gift off at each?

What is the cooldown time for the teleport BSA?

Can you have several magis and continue to teleport after one's been "used up," or will it be like the summoning BSA and all your magis work together to send the egg(s) to another scroll?

Will teleport kill off all the good drops in the AP?

I'm a bit dismayed to read that "some breeders" won't be breeding their Hollies in protest of this new BSA. Was it ever guaranteed your bred eggs would go where they were supposed to, and how does this change anything other than being able to ensure at least one of your clutch went where you intended it? I don't get it.

Thanks for asking these questions--they're the same ones I had about Teleport. smile.gif

Then we don't need to justify our reason to complain to them either, right?

They'll get over it, its fine if they don't breed. there are still other people with hollies.
