Trump believes he is facing arrest (for violating campaign laws in the Stormy Daniels case) and a message was posted on Truth Social calling on his supporters to "protest and take back the country."

I don't think this is Trump's own words, because I can't see him referring to himself as the "former president" when he insists on having people around him "President Trump," including one of his lawyers working this case.

Also it's spelled correctly.

Still, it is designed to stir up his followers. Hopefully "protest" will not lead to "insurrection".

I certainly hope that someone does indict him, and soon.

January 6th was after weeks of planning and messaging. There was a time and place set up in advance, coordinated. This is vague with no clear plan.

And he may not be taken into custody.

^^

*sigh*

And did you hear that if he is arrested he wants to appear in court in handcuffs to arouse sympathy for how they are "mistreating" him?

Someone should put a muzzle on him. Now!

Sad how low the Republican party has sunk.

I quote Robert Hubbell from his Today's Edition newsletter:

Trump has normalized depravity to the point that his party is not fazed by the prospect of a coup-plotting rapist white supremacist as their nominee for the third time. While the E. Jean Carroll rape/defamation trial speaks volumes about Trump, it reveals even more about the moral bankruptcy of the Republican party.

His day just got worse.  The judge in the E. Jean Carroll trial doubled the $5 million fine due Trump's remarks on CNN.

Yes!

She'll never get the money, though.

Oh my word! That is just so horrific! I knew Fox was bad, but I didn't realize how bad it had gotten!

Fox apparently did take down the chyron fairly quickly and said the situation had been "dealt with" but gave no further information.

I am trying to be fair to Fox by posting this, but I don't feel that it was any sort of mistake, or that anyone was chastised for putting that up.

I don't understand how anyone can think Trump is the best person to lead this country. He pretty much single-handedly divided the people of the US and caused an insurrection at our nation's capital. And don't even get me started on how he views women etc. It is long overdue for him to be arrested and be charged with a LOT of things, too many to list.

Australia: 7%

Germany: 6.4%

South Africa: 6.3%

Netherlands: 5.7%

Mexico: 5.06%

France: 4.5%

Canada: 3.4%
