Posted October 28, 2010 Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with other varieties of dragons, but select mates within their breed. And yet they can breed with Pumpkins. Odd. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 28, 2010 Yep and people stuffed glowing coals into them to keep them lit and scary Actually it was to ward off the evil spirits that supposedly arose during Hallow's eve. They collected pieces of the embers from a big bonfire made to ward the spirits off, and they would take it home in the turnip to put in their fire/wood place/stove to continue to ward them off. They used turnips because the "holiday" originated in Europe, and pumpkins are not native to Europe. People started using pumpkins when they came to the Americas because they didn't have turnips and pumpkins were more convenient. In other news, I got a rat, on a stick. Brutal, but love it.
