I only have one inbred (that I like to talk about) and that is Lotus the Tragically Inbred:

Basically I picked her up because she was a gen 3 purple. Cool, right? Well, after I grew her up and it came time to name her, I went to look at her lineage for inspiration. Much to my dismay, her mother was also her grandmother (which is pretty epic inbreeding for a 3rd gen).

Then I proceeded to laugh at the incident the entire day, and decided to keep her as a reminder to check my lineages before settling on keeping an egg.

 

She's named after her mother/grandmother by the way.

 

Other than that, I know I have two inbred golds, two inbred silvers, and a hoard of frozen inbred black/vine hatchlings (hence the frozen part).

None of them are very interesting, however, at least not at this time of night.

One of my magmas keeps giving me purples from its purple mate. I think I'll start keeping the offspring and start breeding them together.

Laizelo, Kale, Rum Runner, Zei, and Ownedyer B'hind have joined Aeyla in their inbred ways. Runner isn't bad at all, it's one dragon done only once. But Zel, Kale, Zei, and Own? All of them are really bad, Zei is frozen though I make no mention of his inbreeding in his description unlike the other ones.

 

Love making des. for inbred. Get to explore plenty of really interesting characters. Zel's the only completely normal one, despite his inbreeding, his biggest fault is serious attention span issues. Kale's got an off stride and color and Own is written off as being crazy. Runner is comptely normal. His inbreeding is too mild and too long ago for me to stress over.

I love all my dragons and inbreds the same as non-inbreds. I have already told about some of mine, but want to list them all once again :3

 

Gorgone - female split adult. got the egg from AP when I was pretty newbie and thought that Splits were super-super-difficult to get. I also new nothing about inbreds and lineages, and I was glad that the egg was so long-lineaged. I still have this pleasant feeling, when I see long lineages, people are making history she's inbred at least 5 times

 

Tandemia - another female Split adult, has a shorter lineage and is inbred only once. I was hunting for a mate for Gorgone in the AP, and wanted it also to have a very long lineage. so I hoped Tandemia would turn a male, but she didn't. may be it was even good she didn't, as I later found she's Gorgone's relative

 

Gross Mistake - a female Split frozen hatchie is also a relative of the two above. she's at least 4 times inbred and her name is historical at the time I caught her from the AP (as an egg) I had also one CB Split egg. and some time later I caught the second CB Split egg, and as I didn't want to stay scroll-locked, I decided to abandon the inbred one (at that time I was already a frequent guest at the forum and learned what is what) and to leave a CB Pair. so I threw away the inbred egg, then influenced the two left a male and a female. and some time later I realized that the female egg was not a CB! I threw away the CB egg by mistake, and left the inbred one. so that's how Gross Mistake got her name)

 

Sparkling Eye - a black frozen hatce is twice inbred. he has some Russian names in its lineage which makes me smile especially a Gold named Tovarisch, which is a communistic "comrad" I caught it from the AP as a hatchie.

 

Kuagi Dorkface - a grey male frozen hatchling, is at least thrice inbred and has an immense lineage. his Dorkface ancsestors are not even shown on the page (you have to look at the Talon Karrde's lineage to see them).

 

Zipper - a frozen Grey, is twice inbred. I named it Zipper, as I think, the grey hatchlings back looks very much like zipper)))

 

Zorgo - a frozen Magi - is inbred at least once. I caught it in a Xmas frenzy. now I'm looking forward V-day to catch more thrown away in frenzy hatchies. I love frozen hatchies :3

 

MiniMinta - a female frozen hatchie, is a Mint of course I counted that she's inbred only once, but I can be mistaken. I caught her at the time I started visiting this forum, found a So You Want a Silver Egg Thread and began grabbing common ER eggs from the AP.

 

Neo D'Hennegel - a Neotopical frozen hatchie, is at least thrice inbred. yeah, and D'Hennegel. you know, Neotropical hatchies are too cute to grow up :3

 

Lusher - a Pink male, has a rather short and nice-looking lineage, but his great great grandpa is at the same time his father though it doesn't prevent him from breeding, he has two daughters, one of which is even named (I love you, Cynderlover101!!!) and has a child herself. I'm always proud when I see my dragons become grandparents. I named Lusher this way as his anscestors have "... of Lush" in their name-scheme. I wanted somehow to follow it. but couldn't imagine nything better than Lusher

 

Argretta - a female Red - is a kind gift of Acrata she'a inbred twice.

 

Miss Butterfly - a female Purple Ridgewing, is a 3rd gen, and her mom is her granny at the same time. she's one of my first dragons, and though I knew nothing about inbreds and other stuff from forum, I felt a bit uneasy when I saw her lineage. still I love her, and she's even got a grown-up child on other person's scroll.

 

that's all for now, but I also have a growing very long-lineaged Magma, which is several times inbred... but I'll write about her next time

I have five, and two are inbred: the aforementioned Artemis and Gaia. ^^

...well, technically I have six. But one of them's a hatchling that I'm gifting. ^^

 

And "Sparkling Eye" is a beautiful name. =)

I'm not completely sure how inbred it is, but this should have around 350+ cases of inbreeding.

I can only love my inbreds, as my first silver and my only gold are inbred.

I am in the mind of most of you that the only problem with inbreeding dragons is no one wants the eggs, and I love gifting eggs. I have many little inbred darlings, but this one http://dragcave.net/lineage/cv9H, I picked up last week from the ap. It made me realize that there is a diffrence in inbreeds. Most have only a few diffrent dragons bred in several times. The most I have seen up to this guy was 18 I think. This guy has 132 diffrent dragons listed on the egg drop inbred checker.

I almost fell off my chair. I haven't counted to see how many times each was bred in, I am still getting over the shock of so many diffrent ones listed. I figure with his parents and siblings and their offspring he should be kin to half the dragons on DC.(maybe not half LOL)

I've got three so far. And I love all of them.

 

Helga Red Sox Dorkface She's got 8 cases of inbreeding in her lineage. She's also bred twice, although neither of her children are on my scroll.

 

Incandescent Fell Has a shorter and less messy lineage than Helga.

 

And I just found this egg! If it genders male, then I have the perfect mate all ready for it.
