Posted September 3, 2010 Not sure how popular this book is, or if people even like it. But seriously, if you haven't read it than read it now. You're missing out. o.o It's by Brandon Mull, and it's fantasy. Anyway, in regards to the poll... what do you rate it, on a scale of 1-10, ten being the most? ^.^ Share this post Link to post
Posted September 3, 2010 I've seen this around, but after reading the description it sounded too cliche to be worth anything; I'm not interested in a generic kid falls into a magical world with fantastical creatures and has to save them story. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 3, 2010 Never heard about it until now. Probably won't read those books either. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 4, 2010 OMG LOVE THIS SERIES I can't believe I haven't gotten round to adding a topic for this! NO BIGGER FAN THAN ME Share this post Link to post
Posted September 4, 2010 I personally love it. I'd give it an 8. Newel and Doren are my favorite characters, since I love satyrs. Vanessa's pretty cool, too. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 4, 2010 I've never read it but I looked it up and it sounds interesting. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 4, 2010 @OP/anyone else who really liked this book: What in particular is special about this book? The summary doesn't help much. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 4, 2010 It's just a good book? Idk, it just appealed to me. Seth ftw Shadewalkers Share this post Link to post
Posted September 6, 2010 I gave it a 6. I like it, but I've read better books before & I really wanted Kendra & Gavin to end up together. This book needs some romance (not too much but...at least some). Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2010 I've read the first two and while the story itself is great, it's really below my reading level, so it was hard to stay interested. Don't get me wrong, I loved the plot and how it played out in both books, I just find it hard to stay interested in a book with a vocabulary half my education level. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2010 @OP/anyone else who really liked this book: What in particular is special about this book? The summary doesn't help much. I read the first one, but there was really nothing special that I saw. It is extremely like the Spiderwick Chronicles, but with more filler and less interesting character interaction. The writing wasn't too bad (really simplistic, like someone else mentioned) and I did like the use of sayings that people frequently use in conversations, but that aren't overused in fantasy. Posted September 15, 2010 I read the first book and I wanted to read the others, but when I couldn't find copies of them at the library I kind of lost interest. But I liked the first one. I gave it a 7. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 15, 2010 The final one's definitely one of the best. :3 I liked bk 1, 4 and 5 (last one). The huge twist in the middle...wow, I did NOT see that coming O.O Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2010 My friend started reading it, and she's been bugging me to read it ever since. I've been planning to, but the results are kinda varied so I'm not sure now. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 30, 2010 Don't just listen to the results, try it yourself! It's really good Share this post Link to post
Posted October 30, 2010 I guess. At least there's more 'it's good' than 'it's bad.' My friend and I have varied tastes though... Share this post Link to post
Posted October 31, 2010 i suppose that might be different for you two. But still, if you like warriors, you should try Fablehaven Share this post Link to post
Posted November 18, 2010 Somehow I skipped the first book, but I read the second. Going to read the third as soon as I finish up the book I am reading now. Its a pretty good series. Share this post Link to post
Posted November 20, 2010 So happy so many people have read Fablehaven! It is like my favorite series in the WORLD! In a kind of related yet unrelated sentence: The dragons in the fourth book kind of remind me of the dragons on dragcave. Anyone agree? Share this post Link to post
Posted November 25, 2010 The third was my favorite one! It was so dark and creepy! Share this post Link to post
