What is/are your favorite book(s)?

Recommended Posts

Redwall...I'm not sure. I read the first book [Redwall] and it was really good, but then I read another and stopped halfway because it bored me out. Forgot which on it was. dry.gif

But Redwall was really good. The book, I mean.

Well, if I have to choose I suppose it has to be The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman, though I like the Eragon series too. Aside from these there are too many to list...

Tailchaser's Song, by Tad Williams

I've heard the title Tailchaser's Song.

I think it was mentioned in The Wild Road by Gabriel King (great book, by the way.)

But I haven't read it. It's good, yeah? (:

I don't really have a favorite book. I have more like favorite authors since I like all the books written by them. Piers Anthony and his Xanth series and the Incarnations of Immortality series are two of my favorites. I also like Terry Brooks Shannara (spelled wrong I'm sure) series.

The books that I would surely read again are the following,

Watership Down

The Hobbit

The Island of Blue Dolphins

Lord of The Rings

Warriors (not finished yet)

SF, Wasn't it mentioned in the Golden Compass movie, otherwise I can't remeber the exact name. dry.gif

I read a lot, but a few faves:

Inheritance Series (Eragon)

LotR

Dragon Riders of Pern

Fablehaven

Harry Potter

Star Wars: Republic Commando series

Ranger's Apprentice

The God Eaters (inappropriate for young readers)

The Ordinary Us (same as TGE)

and a bunch of others that I won't mention simply because I just woke up and can't remember the titles

Your right. It was The Dark Materials. I've read and enjoyed all the books in that series.

@lizardtail: I used to read Animorphs. It was okay...interesting, but not as good as others.

Another fan of Watership Down. 'Ello. 8D

And you like Tailchaser's Song, too? Do you mind explaining what it's about? It was mentioned in The Wild Road by Gabriel King (very good book, but NOT for young readers).

Robin Hobb's The Farseer Trilogy and The Tawny Man Trilogy. The Liveship Traders books are also close runner-ups. I was utterly astonished how fantasy can be made so believable, and the sadness factor of the Fitz books was another thing that appealed to me.

And I absolutely LOVE the Howl's Moving Castle trilogy! =3

I have read Howls Moving Castle and House of Many Ways, and am working on Castle in The Air.

I enjoyed Howls Moving Castle very much, though some of it confused me.

The movie wasn't bad, either. :3

Yeah. The whole bit where Howl goes through the door and visits Wales. It confuses me. X3

I probably need to re-read House of Many Ways, too. Haven't read it in a good year or more.
