What's your favorite genre of music?

Hi in my opinion best music is metal , but what about you? do you like punk, rock, pop, grunge, techno or which one? let's not offend anyone's music taste

I like all types, honestly. It depends on my mood and how it's made, really.

But I'll say I listen to classic rock most often.

Anyway, I like metal, rock, alt. rock, punk rock, electronic, etc.

 

Almost anything but country or rap. And I'm lenient on rap.

But I like nearly everything, its just that I like that a bit more.

I can listen to anything but rap/pop. I also hate stuff like disturbed, etc (i think it's called 'emo' music or something...death metal, maybe? idk...)

 

I really like alt. rock and soft rock and some of the older rock. I like some country.

Alternative Rock/Indie = the best stuff in the world.

 

...but electronic, classical, and folk are all great genres too.

If I had to say I identify with a genre it would probably be Metal. Or possibly anything that starts with 'folk' (like folk-punk, folk-metal, straight up folk music...) That said I listen to a huge range of music. Rap and R'n'B are my least favourite, I'd guess, and I'm generaly not as fond of 'urban' origin music, but there's songs in pretty much every genre that I enjoy.

Mine would be electronic, as am a huge JM Jarre fan, but do also like symphonic metal. But at times can be quite random too, lol

I'm pretty amiable when it comes to music. I like my alternative for creative moods, my off-beat, slightly weird music when I'm working out, and hip hop for dancing. And of course, some artists are always favorites: the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Counting Crows...

 

The only music I don't really like is country, rap, or heavy metal (I spend the whole song worrying about the damage they must be doing to their vocal chords, ha ha). Other than that, I'm agreeable. =]

I like rock (both mellow, and slightly harder).

One of my favourite bands is Shihad. Yay for New Zealnd music! =D

 

But I can adjust to most genres, given enough time. Just not rap, or full on screamo.
