  1. I did a quick search and couldn't find anything like this, so if it has already been suggested or this idea has been turned down before then feel free to close the topic. Now, I understand the importance of having a freshly caught egg requiring one to wait before abandoning, but I'm not keen on the wait being so long when it comes to trading these eggs. Perhaps it's possible to abuse trading to bypass the wait time by sending it to someone and then having them abandon it, but that seems like a lot of work and a waste of time. Personally, I don't see a reason why it should be a problem to trade a newly caught egg, but maybe it's just me. Why should the time be reduced or removed? When someone sees a trade they really like and have the capability to quickly catch those eggs from the biomes and make an offer, they cannot because they are required to wait 5 hours. Now, 5 hours can seem like not that much time, but in those 5 hours the trade could already be accepted, cancelled, the eggs/hatchlings grew up, or maybe you're just not able to be online at that time. I'd prefer that the wait time be completely removed for trades only (it can stay for normal abandoning), but perhaps an hour or so to be able to trade would also work? Thoughts? Comments? Considerations and Suggestion Goals: ~ Make it so that traded eggs will still require being 5 hours old before they can be abandoned.
  2. I absolutely love the idea, though I'm disappointed that I don't have a GoN yet for this. I know I'll be able to get one later but the specialness of the day is lost when I'm unable to get one that was born on the day of the event. I think I would have preferred the birthday event to be something that everyone could partake in, since it is a huge thing, but I guess it's ok. I guess now all I have to do is wait until my trio can summon again
  3. I suppose that's true. I just don't see the point in this otherwise if most people are going to abandon the commons they'll most likely get anyways. Sure, some people might keep the egg, but I can't see most people happy to get a caveblocker and keep it. At least when it's a hatchling, it's usually worth raising at that point no matter what it is. But yeah, you've got a good point. It'd be inconvenient to have something you don't know what it is sitting for a long time on your scroll taking up room.
  4. I really like this idea and I'd definitely use the feature if it was ever implemented. I'm not sure if it'd be possible to do this (or if anyone would even want it), but I think it would be cool to have the egg unidentified until it hatches. That way, it'd be less likely thrown into the AP. Even if it was tossed, hatchlings usually get picked up quite fast anyways so I think it'd be neat to have it function this way if possible. Of course, there'd need to be an explanation why the egg cannot be identified until hatching. Perhaps it being covered in something? Just a thought, though. This might have already been suggested in this thread, I don't know. I don't have the time to check through the pages, so if this has been suggested already just ignore me ^^;
  5. I think my best luck was catching my CB silver back in 2008 when there were no biomes. I'm pretty sure I was excited for the entire day after making that catch! of course, back then there were less dragons and less people so it might not have been that great of luck, but it's probably still the best i've had!
  6. Would I be able to try my hand at making an egg? Im a little new to sewing, but i pretty decent...If im allowed, i may be able to make one tonight or tommorow afternoon ^.- ~
